Biography

Leaving Yuanwu Peak and returning the Jade Smoke Mountain

After completing Ni Water Cold in seclusion, Qingyi hurries to meet Li Xizhi and accepts his offer to leave the increasingly dangerous Yuanwu Peak. She returns to her estranged father, Fei Tongyu, and urges him to abandon revenge, warning that the Fei Family no longer has the strength to contend with the Li and Si families. She then returns the Jade Smoke Mountain, a dharma artifact that had passed from the Li Family into Yuanwu Peak’s hands, to its rightful family. (Chapters 898, 901, 903–904)

A life beyond the Fei Family

Years later, after both parents die, Qingyi asks Li Xizhi to act as her elder in accepting Qin Xian’s proposal. She never mentions the approaching marriage to her own family. By Chapter 1535, she and Qin are waiting together in the palace side halls. (Chapters 1198, 1535)

Appearance and personality

Qingyi wears a simple white robe, with long hair and bright eyes; her calm, graceful manner draws attention without ostentation. She is cautious about danger, but speaks firmly to her father when she believes his plans threaten the family’s survival. (Chapters 901, 903)

Abilities and cultivation

Qingyi first appears as a late-stage Qi Cultivation Realm disciple of Yuanwu Peak. After seclusion she completes her cultivation of Ni Water Cold and is able to ride the wind. Its specific mechanics and limitations remain unknown. (Chapters 586, 898–901)

Relationships

  • Fei Tongyu: Her father; she warns him against pursuing a revenge campaign that could destroy the Fei Family. (Chapter 903)
  • Li Xizhi: He helps her leave Yuanwu Peak and later agrees to serve as her elder for Qin Xian’s proposal. (Chapters 901, 1198)
