Teemee

Teemee is an Earth Mixedblood, MBO officer, and member of Gustav's long-running cadet circle. Quiet beside louder companions such as Ria and his sister Glade, he wields the A-grade Crimson Matter bloodline through acceleration and deceleration: aging or restoring targets, slowing attacks, increasing his own speed, and absorbing part of the energy he degrades. He dies beside Glade during IYSOP after asking Gustav Oslov to inherit his bloodline, then appears alive again after Gustav's universal restoration. (Chapters 163–1687)

Biography

A quiet competitor in the entrance trials

Teemee arrives at the MBO tower as an already self-possessed competitor. When Ria loudly promises to overshadow him, Teemee answers that Ria is not worthy of standing in his shadow, then conserves his attention for the test rather than sustaining the argument. During the endurance phase he competes at the front with Glade, using red energy to push past the gravitational pressure until their rivalry distracts them and Angy overtakes all three. His early reserve is therefore not passivity: he is proud, observant, and prepared to spend himself against a serious standard. (Chapters 163, 179–180)

The assessment makes his power difficult for observers to classify. Contact causes artificial opponents to age and crumble, yet he also gains short bursts of speed and fires a red beam that slows a target. His A-grade result places him among the strongest-potential entrants, but it does not solve the bloodline's complexity. Glade carries a similar red aura while manifesting apparently different weapons, an unexplained parallel that follows them into the MBO long before either learns why. (Chapters 206–215)

Teemee survives the Caskia Ruins as part of the same emerging group around Gustav. In the social aftermath he remains one of the quieter members, often observing while Ria and Glade fill the silence. That position becomes a recurring role: he can puncture a boast, explain a concern, or ask a difficult question without trying to control the room. By the time the group enters camp, friendship has developed through repeated tests rather than a single declaration of allegiance. (Chapters 201–287)

Earning a special-class place

MBO competition gives Teemee a chance to translate that reserve into status. He challenges a top-fifty special-class cadet, withstands energy blades and a giant construct, and wins after using Crimson Matter to degrade attacks and recycle part of their energy. The victory moves him into the defeated cadet's special-class position. It also shows the practical logic of his style: a long fight can favor him when incoming power becomes fuel, but direct wounds still cut him and imperfect conversion prevents unlimited endurance. (Chapters 404–415)

When E.E asks what his bloodline actually does, Teemee defines it as acceleration and deceleration. He ages a twig until it shrinks and darkens, restores it, and then accelerates its growth until it produces new branches and leaves. He admits that energy absorption is inconsistent and wastes a portion of what is available. The explanation makes Teemee more legible to his friends while preserving an advantage over opponents who mistake temporal recalibration for simple decomposition. (Chapter 428)

His place within the group is emotionally understated. Teemee sometimes tries to mediate, as when he questions Gustav's willingness to kill his own brother, but retreats when Gustav makes clear that outside moral advice cannot replace lived abuse. He monitors Ria's excessive training, joins casual food fights, and participates in the routines that turn a cohort into friends. The later narration's description of him as a “softie” clarifies these scenes: he avoids performing concern, yet volunteers to watch over an injured Falco and becomes angry when companions suffer injustice. (Chapters 447, 489, 579, 1296)

Missions, loyalty, and sibling tension

On field assignments, Teemee works as a stabilizer rather than a glory-seeker. He covers search sectors with Glade, Matilda, and Ria, supports the plan to reach Gustav before hostile MBO forces, and joins group training because closing the strength gap is necessary for their generation to survive larger threats. His degradation field can affect a wide area, but a highly durable mixedbreed reveals its limitation: the effect becomes so small that it appears nonexistent, forcing the team to concentrate attacks and use E.E's vortexes to finish the target. (Chapters 763–875, 1016)

His sibling relationship with Glade is built from sameness expressed as rivalry. Both channel a red aura and have spent years unlocking apparently incompatible abilities; they trade insults, compete over who is stronger, and routinely answer in unison despite pretending not to agree. When Glade's earlier betrayal harms the group, Teemee is the one who finally asks Gustav to address it, reflecting divided loyalty rather than denial. He does not excuse her actions, but their shared life makes silence impossible for him. (Chapters 207, 796, 1144–1146)

The oasis explains the bond mechanically. Teemee and Glade enter the same predecessor realm even without holding each other's hands and learn that Crimson Matter has manifested in two people when only one bearer was expected for the generation. Teemee's time acceleration and Glade's constructs are two sides of the same bloodline; proximity prevents either from unlocking the whole alone, though each can master a different half. They respond by arguing over which abilities each should take, converting a painful limit into another sibling contest rather than allowing it to separate them. (Chapters 1140–1144)

IYSOP and the cost of staying together

At IYSOP, Teemee uses the awakened bloodline for team protection as much as offense. He clears rivers with a red spherical barrier, surrounds himself with enclosures that slow incoming weapons, moves at bloodline-enhanced speed, and joins Glade against Xionsi participants who target them repeatedly. Their techniques interlock: she cuts restraints and supplies construct offense, while his fields alter the time and energy of hazards around them. This coordination makes them dangerous enough to injure an opponent, but also gives Orimon a personal motive to pursue both after his brother is hurt. (Chapters 1166–1235, 1299)

The fatal attack comes after Orimon repeatedly challenges the pair. When a magenta spear targets Teemee, he traps it inside a Crimson Matter cocoon and accelerates its time, aging and draining the construct until its intensity falls. Glade feeds her compatible energy into him, repairing cracks in the cocoon and strengthening its decay. They neutralize the first manifestation together, demonstrating that the bloodline division can become an advantage when both halves cooperate. (Chapters 1293–1294)

Orimon's spear then reappears at full force. Glade moves in front of Teemee because Gustav's standing command requires her to protect him at the cost of her life; the weapon pierces her and continues through him. Teemee's last reaction is not triumph at being chosen over his sister but disbelief that she has sacrificed herself. Dying, he tells Gustav that following the group was the best venture of his life, identifies them as family, and asks him to take Crimson Matter and use it well. His death therefore completes both central relationships: Glade dies trying to preserve him, while Teemee entrusts the power they shared to the captain who could carry it forward. (Chapters 1294–1295)

Gustav acquires Teemee's bloodline and later merges it with Glade's complementary half. He uses Teemee's recalibration domain against the Xionsis, expanding the technique beyond the scale Teemee personally displayed. That later performance illustrates the combined bloodline's potential but is not retroactive evidence that Teemee mastered it himself. His teammates continue the competition in his name, and Gustav's revenge against Orimon grows from guilt at failing to prevent the deaths. (Chapters 1295–1313)

Restoration and epilogue

During the final conflict, Gustav reconstructs the destroyed universe and restores every being whose existence remains recoverable. Teemee is not individually shown at the moment of restoration, so the process and immediate condition of his return are unstated. His later presence alongside Glade at E.E and Elevora's wedding confirms that both siblings are alive again; the corpus does not show whether Teemee retains Crimson Matter, shares it with Gustav, or resumes his MBO career. (Chapters 1681–1687)

His epilogue appearance changes the final meaning of the IYSOP tragedy without erasing it. Teemee and Glade can laugh with the group and remember their missions, but their restored lives exist within a celebration still marked by Angy's irreversible absence and Gustav's isolation. Teemee's latest state is therefore alive and socially reunited, while his latest power state remains unresolved after restoration. (Chapter 1687)

Appearance and personality

Teemee is introduced as a short young man with shoulder-length aqua-colored hair and two red lines running from his forehead toward his left eyebrow. When Crimson Matter activates, a red or crimson aura covers his body, hands, or eyes; more defensive applications form a sphere or cocoon around him. The spelling “Temee” occurs in some later source passages, but “Teemee” is the consistent canonical form. (Chapters 163, 180, 206, 937, 1293–1294)

He is quiet, dryly sarcastic, and competitive without Ria's need for spectacle. Teemee often appears unbothered, but his concern is practical and persistent: he tracks friends' overtraining, volunteers to watch Falco, grows angry when the group is harmed, and thinks about the family consequences of violence. With Glade, care is disguised as insults and competition until their last battle makes the bond explicit through coordinated defense and mutual sacrifice. His dying statement confirms that the larger team has become family by choice as well as duty. (Chapters 163–201, 489, 579, 796, 1144–1146, 1294–1296)

Bloodlines and abilities

Crimson Matter: acceleration and deceleration

Crimson Matter is an A-grade bloodline whose red energy changes the rate at which a target proceeds through a process described as time. Teemee can accelerate deterioration through touch, making machines, wood, energy attacks, or living targets age and degrade. He can also reverse or redirect the process: a withered twig returns to health and then grows beyond its initial state. The source calls the mechanism acceleration and deceleration, not decomposition, and later system text supplies the canonical bloodline name after Gustav acquires it. (Chapters 206, 215, 428, 1295, 1310)

Contact is the earliest activation condition, but Teemee develops ranged and area forms. A red beam slows an artificial opponent; a surrounding sphere reduces the speed of incoming projectiles; a wider degradation attack covers an entire tough creature; and his final cocoon ages a magenta spear without direct hand-to-spear contact. Large fields consume much more bloodline energy, and resilient targets can degrade so slowly that the effect seems absent. The cocoon cracks when the spear's output exceeds Teemee's solo supply, proving that time acceleration does not bypass every difference in power. (Chapters 206, 875, 937, 1294)

Teemee can decelerate hostile attacks and accelerate his own movement. A full crimson coating supplies bursts of speed and a physical boost, though he is not naturally among the team's fastest members and remains slower than dedicated specialists. Defensive spheres and barriers extend the principle to a group, letting him clear falling rivers or thread through weapon fields. These constructs can fail under sustained force, and the corpus does not establish a fixed radius, duration, or numerical time ratio. (Chapters 180, 206, 405–406, 770, 1144, 1166, 1205)

Energy conversion and shared-bloodline mechanics

When Teemee degrades an attack or object, he can absorb and store part of the released energy. This makes prolonged exchanges efficient: the special-class cadet who attacks him repeatedly loses effective output while Teemee replenishes himself. Conversion is incomplete, however, and Teemee explicitly says some energy is wasted and that absorption does not always work. Opponents capable of cutting through the crimson layer can still injure him before recalibration supplies any advantage. (Chapters 405–406, 428)

The predecessor encounter reveals that Teemee and Glade carry two expressions of the same Crimson Matter bloodline. Teemee has primarily unlocked temporal recalibration and speed, while Glade manifests controllable weapons and structures; the predecessors say each has shown traces of the other's branch. Because only one bearer was expected in their generation, proximity prevents either sibling from unlocking the whole bloodline, but allows both to develop separate halves. Their compatible energy can be combined directly, as Glade demonstrates by feeding power into Teemee's cocoon and intensifying its time-decay field. (Chapters 207, 1140–1144, 1294)

Teemee's death ends his demonstrated personal access. Gustav extracts his half at Teemee's request and later merges it with Glade's, producing a complete Crimson Matter expression capable of a much larger recalibration domain. Gustav's feat establishes combined potential, not Teemee's attained scale. After Gustav restores Teemee to life, the story gives no ability scene or rank statement for him, so whether his bloodline is restored, duplicated, or absent at the endpoint remains unknown. (Chapters 1295, 1305, 1310, 1681–1687)

Power progression

Stage / Realm / AbilityChapter(s)Notes
A-grade bloodline215The MBO assessment explicitly groups Teemee among the candidates with A-grade bloodlines. This is a grade classification, not a Mixedblood rank.
Peak Falcon rank1068Teemee is explicitly listed among the group members still at the peak of Falcon rank. His earlier rank and the Zulu, Serial, Gilberk, and Martial intervals are not individually shown.
Crimson Matter split-bloodline awakening1140–1144Teemee and Glade learn that they wield complementary expressions of the same bloodline and unlock separate predecessor-taught branches; neither is said to possess the whole while both remain near each other.
Kilo rank, at least second step1144After the oasis connection, Gustav observes that everyone present is Kilo-ranked and no one is below second step. Teemee is present; his exact step above that floor is unstated.
Killed; Crimson Matter transferred1295Teemee dies from Orimon's spear after asking Gustav to take his bloodline. Gustav extracts it, ending Teemee's demonstrated personal access at that time.
Restored to life; power state unshown1681–1687Gustav restores recoverable beings with the universe, and Teemee later appears alive at the wedding. No post-restoration rank or Crimson Matter use is shown.

Relationships

  • Glade: Glade is Teemee's sister, rival, and complementary Crimson Matter bearer. Their constant insults conceal years of synchronization: they answer together, protect each other in combat, and enter the same predecessor realm. Learning that proximity prevents complete individual awakening gives them a reason to divide the bloodline's abilities, while their final battle proves that the divided halves can reinforce one another. Glade dies intercepting the restored spear meant for him, and both are ultimately returned to life by Gustav's universal restoration. (Chapters 207, 796, 1140–1146, 1185–1186, 1293–1295, 1681–1687)
  • Gustav Oslov: Teemee grows from entrance-test peer to dependable member of Gustav's team. He challenges Gustav's harsh view of Endric, accepts the limits of his understanding when rebuffed, and later entrusts Gustav with Crimson Matter as his final choice. Gustav preserves the bloodline, uses it to punish the Xionsis, and eventually restores Teemee with the universe. (Chapters 489, 763–1313, 1681–1687)
  • Ria: Teemee and Ria begin as loud rivals, with Teemee responding to boasting through cutting one-liners. The antagonism settles into friendship: Teemee monitors Ria's excessive training and Ria is among those desperately trying to save him after the spear strike. (Chapters 163–201, 579, 1294)
  • E.E and Falco: E.E's curiosity prompts Teemee's clearest explanation of Crimson Matter, while Falco helps explain its energy storage. Teemee later volunteers to monitor Falco's health, and his restored epilogue appearance occurs at E.E's wedding. (Chapters 428, 875, 1238, 1296, 1687)

Items

Teemee is not shown owning a separately cataloged notable item. He uses ordinary storage technology to carry demonstration material such as the twig in Chapter 428, but his significant combat tools are constructs or fields produced by Crimson Matter rather than external equipment.
