Yun Meng Xin

Yun Meng Xin is the founder of Heart’s Dream and the Lady of Ling Tian City. Her attempt to escape an imposed marriage begins with a nearly impossible wager, but her judgment, diplomacy, and administrative leadership turn the opportunity created by Ling Tian into a city capable of changing the balance of the Mystic Moon world. Biography

Isrock, the New World, and the Lunar Scourge

Three years before the opening of Mystic Moon, Yun Meng Xin’s father promised her in marriage to Long Tian Yun because a union with the politically dominant Long family would benefit the Yun family. After observing Long Tian Yun’s ruthlessness and treatment of women, she rejected the arrangement and chose to stake her future on a deliberately unfair wager: within two years, she would build fame and wealth comparable to the century-old Yun family financial group without receiving financial or political help from her relatives. Accepting those terms was her way of turning a decision made without her consent into a narrow chance to claim authority over her own life. (Chapter 4)

Mystic Moon became Yun Meng Xin’s only practical arena for that challenge, and she founded Heart’s Dream despite possessing little money, no established power, and only a handful of companions. Yun Feng sought Ling Chen’s help on her behalf, trading the medicine that saved Ling Shui Ruo for Ling Chen’s promise to support Yun Meng Xin. She did not yet know the man on whom much of her hope would rest, but her stubborn persistence gave Ling Chen a purpose in the new world and made her struggle inseparable from the debt he felt toward her brother and toward Shui Ruo’s recovery. Heart’s Dream and the First Guild

When Yun Meng Xin first met Ling Tian, she identified him before Yun Feng introduced him. She inferred his identity from her brother’s unusual admiration, his reaction to Ling Tian’s public achievements, and Xiao Qi’s excitement, demonstrating the close observation that later defined her leadership. She welcomed him without demanding that he reveal his face, extended wholehearted trust because Yun Feng had brought him, and framed the guild’s effort as a shared undertaking for which she would remain grateful regardless of whether her wager succeeded. Ling Tian’s equipment and Phantasmal Bladedancer scroll gave Yun Meng Xin both practical strength and a more credible foundation for Heart’s Dream. She accepted the extraordinary gift rather than refusing it out of pride, reasoning that rejecting a guildmate’s sincere aid would itself be ungrateful, but she did not treat his power as permission to become passive. She trained alone after the others logged off, insisted that Heart’s Dream repeat a quest without Ling Tian carrying them, and continued working because she believed that even a supported person ultimately had to rely on her own effort. Long Tian Yun’s pressure made the conflict behind Heart’s Dream personal as well as political. Yun Meng Xin refused to explain or surrender her relationship with Ling Tian, told Long Tian Yun that self-earned strength mattered more than inherited influence, and made clear that she wanted freedom rather than his claim that he alone deserved her. Her resistance sharpened his hostility toward Ling Tian, yet it also clarified her standard for power: strength was meaningful when it came from one’s choices and capacities, not merely from family position or coercive reach. The Road South and the Fairy Realm

Heart’s Dream was shattered soon after Ling Shui Ruo’s death, when the Yan Huang Alliance exploited Ling Tian’s disappearance and destroyed the guild sign. Yun Meng Xin restrained Xiao Qi from charging three thousand attackers in a futile defense and silently watched the headquarters collapse, accepting that preserving her companions mattered more than dying for the guild’s physical symbol. When Ling Tian returned, she affirmed that she still trusted him despite the accusations surrounding him, told him directly that Heart’s Dream had been destroyed, and did not obstruct his urgent search for a way to restore Shui Ruo. (Chapters 338–339 and 353–356)

The loss forced Yun Meng Xin to change how she pursued her goal. Rather than trying to rebuild through combat alone, she relinquished her battle profession and began working with Li Xiao Xue on land and commercial development, while the other Heart’s Dream members followed separate paths toward their own forms of strength. That decision converted defeat into specialization: Yun Meng Xin ceased trying to be the group’s strongest fighter and concentrated on the planning, negotiation, and organization that no one else could perform for the future city. (Chapters 356 and 360)

Calamity in the East Ocean Continent

Ling Tian eventually sent Yun Meng Xin the unique City Creation Token, a map, rare materials, and a detailed account of the Fairies and Dwarves. She answered the opportunity with preparation rather than haste, spending ten days studying the Forgotten Continent Chronicles before approaching Li Xiao Xue for seventy billion dollars. Yun Meng Xin disclosed the plan only after securing confidentiality, accepted Li Xiao Xue’s business conditions, and put her own liability behind a proposal whose success depended on joining the two hidden clans and exploiting neither of them. (Chapters 397–398)

In the Fairy Realm, Yun Meng Xin respectfully removed her veil, listened to the clan’s fear that returning to the world would corrupt them, and then challenged their isolation as both self-destructive and a failure to contribute. Her argument was deliberately severe, but she apologized for its rudeness after forcing the elders to confront their decline. She then used her research to show that the Fairy Forest and surrounding territory remained theirs, proposing a city in which humans would come to the Fairies rather than making the Fairies dependent on a human ruler. (Chapters 398–400)

Yun Meng Xin offered Ling Tian the city lordship while promising that the Fairies and Dwarves would remain true owners of their home and retain authority over their internal affairs. She brought Chief Greenwood to the Dwarves, delivered the ancestral blueprint and Handsome Pan entrusted by Ling Tian, reunited the clans, and negotiated a division in which the Dwarves built while she supplied resources. By asking about the Dwarves’ remaining Spatial Stone and placing the corresponding formation stone near the Fairy Forest, she completed the teleportation route that moved thirty thousand Dwarves from deprivation into their new homeland. (Chapters 401–405)

The Defense and Founding of Ling Tian City

Yun Meng Xin named the project Ling Tian City because she regarded it as a city belonging to Ling Tian and as the future of the people who had placed their hopes in him. She kept construction secret, arranged for Winter of That Year and Hundred Miles of Ice to guard the approach, and accurately anticipated that Long Tian Yun would mobilize on a massive scale after discovering the city. When the first scouts arrived, she faced them alone, declared the land her territory, and used the limited time before the main assault to alert Li Xiao Xue and organize a defense. (Chapters 516 and 537–545)

After learning that Ling Tian could not be reached, Yun Meng Xin suppressed her panic so it would not spread to the Fairies and Dwarves. She ordered the Fairies to grow a long northern wall of vines along the attackers’ only safe route, told the Dwarves to keep building even if battle reached them, and called Yun Feng for support. When Long Tian Yun publicized the token to draw many guilds into the attack, she refused Li Xiao Xue’s suggestion to abandon the unfinished city, accepting responsibility for the risks while insisting that the city embodied the Dwarves’ home, the Fairies’ return, and Heart’s Dream’s chance at freedom. The defense repeatedly brought Yun Meng Xin close to despair, but it also reunited the companions whose paths had diverged. She welcomed Xiao Qi and Su’Er back, entrusted Xiao Qi with defending their home, supplied Su’Er with the Dew of Dusk needed to sustain her formations, and continued coordinating with Li Xiao Xue, Yun Feng, and Xiao Qiu Feng as allied armies sacrificed themselves. Ling Tian’s eventual arrival broke the siege, and the city survived long enough for the Dwarves to complete it, transforming Yun Meng Xin’s wager from an aspiration into an institution she now had to govern. The Underworld and the Forgotten City

When Ling Tian declined the city lordship, Yun Meng Xin became Lady of Ling Tian City because she had the skills and availability to manage it. The city’s monopolies in Dwarven equipment, Fairy medicines, crystals, and other services produced more than one trillion gold in its first fifteen hours, already surpassing the fortune named in her original wager. Instead of treating that revenue as personal wealth, she defined the title as a responsibility to develop a city belonging to all its residents and immediately began planning expansion when demand exposed the limits of her original design. (Chapters 616 and 619–620)

Yun Meng Xin also learned to wield the city’s commercial position as political power. During the Forgotten Emperor’s first visit, she answered his legal objections from her knowledge of local rules and accepted the Mountain Giant as Ling Tian City’s guardian. Afterward, she enforced restrictions against the guilds that had attacked the unfinished city, eventually offering the Golden Age Alliance and others severe but survivable terms involving compensation, tribute, and limited service. This converted defeated enemies into subordinate partners while restoring access for their members, a calculated settlement more useful than simple retaliation. (Chapters 624–629)

The Forgotten City later returned with one hundred thousand soldiers and an ultimatum designed to place Ling Tian City under royal control. Yun Meng Xin and Li Xiao Xue first chose negotiation because they understood that a direct battle against the royal army would devastate the city. Yun Meng Xin used the offered day to evacuate residents and Dwarves, close vulnerable facilities, mobilize player forces, and prepare the Fairies, but she rejected submission once the army advanced, declaring that destruction was preferable to allowing the Forgotten Emperor to ruin the city from within. (Chapters 660–663 and 671–672)

The defenders were overwhelmed after two Mysterious God-grade experts neutralized Greenwood and the Mountain Giant, and Yun Meng Xin collapsed when the gates fell and soldiers began destroying the city. Unknown intervention moved the defenders to safety, and Ling Tian returned in time to annihilate most of the invading force, but nineteen Fairies died. Yun Meng Xin did not celebrate the military reversal; she remained with the grieving clans and confirmed that the western danger was over, sharing responsibility for a city whose survival had now cost residents their lives. (Chapters 674 and 681–687)

The Moon God Palace and the Shura’s Return

Yun Meng Xin returned to the Yun residence for her grandfather’s birthday despite having lived apart from the family, then left the next morning rather than remain among relatives who valued profit above affection. Soon afterward she collapsed from an artificially activated strain of Isrock Disease contracted during the visit. Even while barely conscious, she warned Yun Feng not to approach and later asked not to be taken to Xiao Qi’s home because she feared endangering her friends, preserving concern for others when her own condition had become fatal. (Chapters 704–708)

The Yun family burned her courtyard and refused to let her remain at home, revealing that their praise and promises of support lasted only while she was useful. Yun Feng broke with them, while Xiao Qi offered care despite the danger and Yun Meng Xin’s own reluctance to expose her. The rejection ended Yun Meng Xin’s remaining emotional obligation to the family that had once arranged her future, although the illness advanced too quickly for her to make that break through deliberate confrontation. (Chapters 707–708)

Sha Sha secretly supplied the unexplained medicine that purged the infection from Yun Meng Xin and Su’Er, and both recovered without lasting physical weakness. Yun Meng Xin interpreted the near-death experience as a revelation rather than merely a rescue: it showed her who her genuine family was and stripped away her reluctance to express her feelings for Ling Chen. She chose to live with him and her sisters, declaring inwardly that the Yun family’s Yun Meng Xin had died and that her future belonged with the people who had remained beside her. (Chapters 713–717)

The Godchild Crisis and Qi Xing

At the Bamboo Sea Wonderland, Yun Meng Xin learned the hidden history of Ling Chen’s childhood and understood why his hatred of the Long family could not be dismissed as simple resentment. When Rahu attacked, she and Xiao Qi comforted the injured Gu Qing Han while stronger fighters tried to hold the intruder back. During the attempted evacuation, Yun Meng Xin witnessed Tian Tian’s sealed power awaken and saw her temporarily petrify an enemy whose strength exceeded anything the group could oppose. (Chapters 801–804)

The resistance ultimately failed, and Rahu destroyed the Bamboo Sea Wonderland. Ling Chen believed Yun Meng Xin and the other women had been killed because no bodies remained and none answered him, making their apparent loss part of what drove him into the Shura’s destructive transformation. In fact, Qi Yue used Lachesis to transport the group to Xiya before the destruction reached them. Yun Meng Xin survives the attack but cannot prevent the false report from breaking Ling Chen. (Chapters 814–819, 837)

Xiya and the Perfect Moon

After Earth’s destruction, Yun Meng Xin and the others briefly existed on Xiya with the loss of their home and families still weighing on them. Lachesis and Sha Sha then reversed Earth’s time to before the disaster, restoring Yun Meng Xin alive at the Bamboo Sea Wonderland and preventing Rahu’s attack from recurring. She retained the experience because she had been taken away from Earth before the reversal, returning with a sharper appreciation for the home, companions, and ordinary life that had seemed permanently lost. (Chapters 840–841)

In the years that followed, Yun Meng Xin continued leading Ling Tian City even after its original spiritual figures ceased appearing publicly. Together with the Fairy Clan, Dwarf Clan, Yun Feng, and the city’s other principal defenders, she maintained enough authority that their decisions could alter the state of the entire Mystic Moon world. Her latest role completes the transformation begun by the marriage wager: she no longer seeks proof that she deserves freedom from her family, but governs a power whose reach far exceeds the standard against which they once measured her. (Chapters 846–850)

Appearance and personality

Yun Meng Xin is repeatedly described as extraordinarily beautiful, with a graceful figure, long sleek legs, an ethereal voice, and a calm, elegant bearing. She habitually wears a white veil in both worlds because her appearance attracts disruptive attention; when she reveals her face, her beauty is described as elegant and pure rather than seductive. She moves with composure even under scrutiny, and her expressions are usually controlled enough that changes in her gaze or voice carry unusual weight. (Chapters 119–120, 356, and 599–601)

Her defining traits are independence, attentiveness, and disciplined self-command. She notices details others miss, remains courteous without becoming submissive, and can use either patient listening or deliberately sharp argument depending on what a negotiation requires. Her calm is not the absence of fear: the city sieges and the Isrock crisis repeatedly break through it. Rather, she treats composure as a responsibility because her companions and residents take emotional direction from her, while her strongest loyalties remain with the friends who chose her without seeking family advantage. (Chapters 119, 221, 399–400, 545–547, and 663)

Abilities and powers

Yun Meng Xin’s most important capabilities change over the story. She begins as a Warrior and receives a powerful Hidden Profession, but later abandons combat specialization to focus on the economic, diplomatic, and administrative work behind Ling Tian City. The corpus therefore establishes her latest strength principally as leadership and judgment rather than personal battle power; it does not show her reacquiring a combat profession by Chapter 850. (Chapters 121–126, 221, 360, and 850)

Phantasmal Bladedancer

Ling Tian gives Yun Meng Xin the Phantasmal Bladedancer class-change scroll and two matching Sand Blades. The class permits its user to equip two one- or two-handed swords without the weapons interfering with one another; each hand’s attack derives from its own weapon, while matching swords increase attack power by fifteen percent and enable some special skills. Its recorded passives include sword proficiency and strengthened agility, and its named skills are Mirage Blade, Peerless Jade Dance, and the ultimate skill Paragon, although the corpus does not explain the mechanics, costs, cooldowns, or limits of Mirage Blade and Paragon. Peerless Jade Dance is the class’s clearest demonstrated technique. Yun Meng Xin activates it through a spinning twin-sword dance and strikes three Red Tailed Foxes, producing two damage instances on each target and leaving all three near death; the class change also grants agility that improves her accuracy. Later training confirms that its elegant presentation does not reduce its lethality, but the supplied corpus does not establish its exact range, resource cost, scaling, or later upgrades. Yun Meng Xin ultimately gives up the profession when she changes her contribution to Heart’s Dream from fighter to city planner. (Chapters 125–126, 221, and 360)

Strategy, diplomacy, and administration

Yun Meng Xin combines close observation with detailed preparation. She deduces Ling Tian’s identity from indirect social cues, studies the Forgotten Continent’s history for ten days before choosing the city’s site and legal basis, and anticipates both Long Tian Yun’s mobilization window and the route from which his forces will approach. These are learned intellectual and organizational competencies rather than supernatural abilities, and their limits remain human: incomplete intelligence leaves her dependent on allies, while overwhelming force can still break her plans and composure. (Chapters 119, 397–400, 542–547, and 568)

Her diplomacy works by identifying what another party needs and offering a structure that preserves its dignity and interests. She persuades the Fairies to rejoin the world without surrendering their territory, reunites them with the Dwarves, secures Li Xiao Xue’s financing through a credible monopoly plan, and later turns hostile guilds into revenue-paying partners. As Lady of Ling Tian City, she applies the same skill at a larger scale through expansion plans, emergency evacuations, legal rebuttals, and the coordination of distinct player and non-player factions. • Ling Chen: He enters Mystic Moon to repay Yun Feng for the medicine that saved Shui Ruo and becomes the power behind Heart’s Dream’s rise. Yun Meng Xin increasingly trusts his promises and judgment, while he entrusts the City Creation Token and the city’s future to her; after surviving Isrock, she stops concealing her love and chooses a life with him.
