City Creation Token

The City Creation Token is a region-unique authorization for founding a player city. China’s token enables Yun Meng Xin’s secret construction of Ling Tian City and turns the unfinished settlement into the central target of competing guilds.

History

A hidden foundation for Ling Tian City

Yun Meng Xin reveals that the group possesses China’s single City Creation Token and explains that it can elevate a player from guild leader to ruler of a regional capital. Ordinary use also requires imperial land and enormous funding, but the Fairy Realm provides land outside the usual allocation process. With Li Xiao Xue’s resources and the Fairies’ and Dwarves’ labor, the token’s existence is concealed while Ling Tian City is built. (Chapters 397–400)

Secrecy and the unfinished city

The project’s use of a player token subjects it to player-conflict rules even though non-player peoples construct and inhabit the city. Outsiders eventually confirm that the enormous settlement belongs to a player, but its founder and the token’s origin remain secret. The discovery matters because destroying the incomplete city could cause the unique authorization to reappear for capture, while the Fairies and Dwarves are restricted from simply deciding the player war themselves. (Chapters 435–437, 539–548)

The defense that establishes a capital

When Yan Huang Alliance publicizes the construction site and attacks, the token becomes the strategic prize behind the battle. Yun Meng Xin’s allies rally to defend the city until Ling Chen returns and breaks the assault. Completion preserves the authorization already invested in the project and allows Ling Tian City to open as the region’s player capital under Yun Meng Xin’s leadership rather than passing to Long Tian Yun. (Chapters 542–548, 559–575)

Abilities and properties

  • Unique regional authorization: Only one City Creation Token is said to exist per region, and it gives players the right to found that region’s sole player city. It does not construct the settlement or supply land, money, materials, labor, or defense. (Chapters 397, 400, 542)
  • Exceptional drop requirement: The token is associated with extremely low drops from high-grade bosses, described in different passages as Celestial or Heaven’s End and above. Because the corpus’s thresholds vary, the safe conclusion is that ordinary monsters cannot supply it and the exact minimum grade is not consistent in the narration. (Chapters 397, 436)
  • Player-war rules: A city authorized in a player’s name remains subject to player conflict even when non-player peoples support its construction. The token therefore grants legal standing without making the city invulnerable. (Chapter 435)
