Fleur
Fleur is an Awakened healer whose fatigue relief and wound treatment let small teams travel and fight far beyond their ordinary endurance. After surviving the Domain War beside Tamar, Ray, and Rain, she becomes a combat-trained Shadow Clan operative and joins the cohort assembled to challenge the Second Nightmare. (Chapters 1780, 1844, 2415–2423, and 2749)
Biography
Surveying Godgrave
Fleur entered Godgrave as the healer of Tamar's three-Awakened survey team. Ray avoided threats, Tamar met those that could not be avoided, and Fleur repaired the resulting fatigue and injuries; this division of labor let the team map a route with far fewer people than the task normally required. She also shared the cohort's earlier history as Sleepers rescued by the Lord of Shadows, and responded to Ray's theatrical retelling of that encounter with visible embarrassment rather than contradicting its substance. (Chapters 1780, 1783, and 1785)
The apparently routine expedition turned dangerous at a collapsing canyon, where Fleur crossed by rope with the others and helped identify the possibility that a Tyrant was bringing down the ancient structure. Her survival preserved the small cohort through its return to the construction camp, but the outbreak of the Domain War soon changed her role from traveling healer to military medic. (Chapters 1786–1787 and 1844)
Healer of the Seventh Legion
Fleur answered Song's call to arms with Tamar, Ray, and Rain, serving in Seishan's Seventh Legion. She worked behind the line in a field hospital until her robe and red hair were soaked with blood, treating catastrophic wounds while her stamina Ability sustained fighters still in the formation. When enemy forces broke through, Ray physically pulled her from immediate danger, showing both the exposure inherent in her work and the reliance between the two partners. (Chapters 1844, 1915–1916, and 1996)
Near the war's end, Fleur and Ray were almost killed by a Great creature and reached Aiko's cottage badly wounded. Nephis healed them, but safety did not change their priorities: both chose to return to the battlefield to help Rain and Tamar rather than remain behind. Fleur later stayed in the Eastern Quadrant to treat civilians, extending the same responsibility beyond her legion after organized fighting ended. (Chapters 2249–2250 and 2274)
Shadow Clan service and the Second Nightmare
Fleur subsequently joined the Shadow Clan and received the same combat and covert training as its other field operatives. During an infiltration disguised as a bank robbery, she passed as a civilian, coordinated through hand signs, guarded the operation's key participants, and charged armed zealots under fire when the trap was sprung. Her willingness to shield another person with her own body confirms that the healer had developed into a capable frontline operative, even though support remained her specialty. (Chapters 2415–2423)
Years later, Fleur continued to deploy with Tamar, Ray, Rain, and other clan members. She entered the Hollows of Godgrave with dark amusement at having returned to the place she had once barely escaped; the expedition's purpose was to reach a Seed and challenge the Second Nightmare together. The corpus ends before establishing whether she survives or Ascends. (Chapters 2742 and 2749)
Appearance and personality
Fleur is a delicate, pretty young woman with a fair face and red hair. During the war she wears a silk healer's robe that becomes stained red while she treats casualties; in covert work, a camouflage charm can make her appear blonde and subtly alter her features, an equipment effect rather than an innate transformation. (Chapters 1780, 1915, and 2415)
She is compassionate without being timid. Fleur absorbs the physical and emotional strain of mass-casualty medicine, returns to battle after nearly dying, and protects people even when doing so places her in the path of a stronger enemy. Her dry familiarity with Rain and embarrassed reaction to Ray's theatrics show a quieter, more grounded humor than her partner's. (Chapters 1785, 2249–2250, 2416–2423, and 2749)
Abilities and Aspect
Fatigue relief and healing
Fleur's Dormant Aspect Ability alleviates fatigue, allowing companions to recover stamina and sustain unusually rapid travel or prolonged combat. Her Awakened Ability stems bleeding and accelerates healing, so scrapes and ordinary battle wounds can be treated quickly while she also stabilizes grievously injured soldiers in a field hospital. The effects support rather than replace caution: allies can still be maimed, and Fleur herself can be wounded or overwhelmed by threats beyond an Awakened cohort. (Chapters 1780, 1783, 1915–1916, and 2249)
The corpus does not name her Aspect, explain its essence cost or range, or establish that she can regenerate lost limbs or instantly reverse mortal injuries. Her latest scenes still identify her as the group's healer, with no documented upgrade before the Second Nightmare. (Chapters 1915, 2249–2250, and 2749)
Combat and covert training
Shadow Clan training gives Fleur practical skills distinct from her Aspect: disguise use, silent coordination, armed close combat, and the discipline to operate under gunfire. Rain temporarily reinforces her resistance during the bank operation, so Fleur's ability to endure bullets in that scene is partly an ally's enhancement and must not be treated as her own permanent defense. (Chapters 2415–2423)
Relationships
Ray
Ray is Fleur's romantic partner and long-standing cohort companion. He worries when missions separate them, pulls her away from a collapsing front, and returns to danger beside her after both are healed; Fleur trusts his scouting while tempering his theatrical personality with embarrassment and dry amusement. (Chapters 1785, 1996, 2249–2250, 2274, and 2420)
Tamar and Rain
Fleur serves under Tamar from the survey expedition through the Seventh Legion and later follows her into the Second Nightmare. Rain first depends on Fleur's stamina support as a supposed mundane porter, then fights beside her as an Awakened Shadow Clan member. Their shared history produces enough trust for Fleur to treat Rain's capacity for violence as a private joke while still protecting her during operations. (Chapters 1780–1787, 1844, 1916, 2416–2423, and 2749)
Items
Fleur uses a camouflage charm to change her hair color and subtly reshape her apparent features during covert work. She also wears Shadow Clan armor and carries mission equipment, but the corpus gives these possessions no stable names or unique mechanics and does not establish whether she takes them into the Second Nightmare. (Chapters 2415–2423 and 2749)
