A broadcast in Chapter 1192 calls an Earthborn general “Fay Gump”; the corpus does not explicitly confirm whether this is a changed surname, a textual inconsistency, or another officer. Biography

Enforcing order at the academy

Fay is promoted from private to sergeant and placed in charge of squad training. She first intervenes when second-year students attack Quinn, Vorden, and their classmates, using the threat of her rapier and her reputation for punishment to end the confrontation immediately. In the disciplinary meeting that follows, she argues for precautions because Vorden's family could bring consequences upon the academy, showing that her enforcement is shaped by institutional risk as well as protection of students. When students disappear through a portal, Fay joins Leo, Hayley, and Del in the rescue. She assigns the portable teleporter to the weakest member, shares the frontline with Leo, and kills Rattaclaws rather than take long detours. Fay is a young woman in her late twenties with long silver hair reaching her waist. She wears a beret, carries a jagged bone rapier or a longsword depending on the scene, and uses close-fitting light armour because heavy gear would impede her speed.
