Xu Bai
Xu Bai is a distinct clone created from Xu Ke's essence blood and shaped to resemble, but not become, the historical Mr. Bai. His body, will, mission, and cultivation belong to the clone identity. (Chapters 674–675)
Biography
Seven Aperture Exquisite Heart
The Seven Aperture Exquisite Heart material first appears around investigations of the historical Mr. Bai, but Xu Bai himself is created much later. Li Fan uses Xu Ke's essence blood, unconsciously refines the face toward Mr. Bai's peerless appearance, and names the resulting Nascent Soul clone “Xu Bai.” Xu Bai then works with Liu San and Fang Zaiji, develops a will distinct enough to discuss his own suicide precautions, and reshapes part of the Beast Realm during an epiphany before undertaking Li Fan's outward missions. Appearance and personality
Xu Bai is an exceptionally handsome young man based primarily on Xu Ke's adult form, refined toward Mr. Bai's appearance. He wears the white-robed, folding-fan style prepared for his public role and normally appears calm and detached. His willingness to request a suicide device for himself shows mission discipline, while his independent reactions and rare negative emotions show that he is not merely Li Fan speaking through an empty shell. Abilities and cultivation
Heavenly Fortune cultivation and world-law manipulation
Xu Bai establishes his path with the Heavenly Fortune Sutra and the Black Bird Feather's accumulated fortune, forming a Golden Core and then absorbing the Beast Realm Cave Heaven to reach Nascent Soul. Within that home world he can perceive fortune, enter spontaneous enlightenment, and directly reshape terrain and living patterns as if painting reality. The source does not make him the historical Mr. Bai or assign every later feat of that figure to this clone. (Chapters 674–675, 703, 781)
Relationships
Li Fan is Xu Bai's creator and planner, but explicitly recognizes the clone's independent will. Liu San and Fang Zaiji equip, protect, and advise him, while Xiao Qing later evaluates him as a Federation envoy whose resemblance to Xu Ke and Mr. Bai is politically significant.
