Beast God Armor
Beast God Armor is the Empire's signature method for grafting a sealed exotic beast's power onto a human through an absorbable Beast Soul Bead. (Chapters 431, 469–470)
History
Li Fan first observes the armor in Li Chenfeng's memories as part of an Empire civilization built around beast taming and human-beast technology. Li Chenfeng wears a model theoretically capable of contending with Golden Core cultivators, though Li Fan subdues him effortlessly. The Empire later offers its entire technical system as a bargaining chip, emphasizing that Beast God Armor alone covers much of the requested aid's value. (Chapters 431, 434, 443–444)
Xiao Qing transfers a thousand Beast Soul Beads to Li Fan: five hundred Foundation Establishment-class, four hundred ninety Golden Core-class, nine Nascent Soul-class, and one dangerous Nine-Headed Divine Bird bead theoretically at Soul Transformation. Xiao Heng later wears armor in the Beast Realm rather than cultivating, while seven Empire guards in Golden Core-class armor confront and are immediately subdued by Xu Bai. (Chapters 469–470, 732, 747)
Description and function
A Beast Soul Bead is a blood-red, pulsating sphere containing a sealed beast soul. During refinement it dissolves into living red liquid, spreads from the user's forehead through the limbs and bones, and grafts the beast's energy onto the body. Once absorbed, the user can summon armor and express combat power modeled on the sealed exotic beast. (Chapters 469–470)
Abilities and limitations
Beast-power grafting
Successful armor can provide the beast's approximate physical combat level, extreme movement speed, resistance to most spell attacks, and effects that interfere with spiritual consciousness. The advertised realm equivalence is theoretical rather than an assurance of victory: ordinary cultivators vary in practical skill, and a Golden Core armor squad is helpless against Xu Bai. (Chapters 434, 469–470, 747)
Refinement risk and incompatibility
The sealed soul must be mentally endured during refinement. The Nine-Headed Bird's lingering violence has driven every attempted user mad or killed them, despite its theoretical Soul Transformation output. Beast power also conflicts more strongly with a cultivator's spiritual energy as cultivation rises. Li Fan rejects a lower-level bead because its graft taints bodily purity, making ordinary mortals the Empire's preferred users. (Chapters 469–470)
Custody and users
The Empire invents and manufactures the beads, while Li Chenfeng, Xiao Heng, and unnamed guards demonstrate individual armor use. Xiao Qing transfers a batch of one thousand to Li Fan during negotiations, shifting physical custody without yet transferring the entire manufacturing art. Xu Bai encounters armor users and helps negotiate over the technology, but the corpus does not make the armor his personal property. (Chapters 431, 443, 469–470, 732, 747)
