The Myriad Phenomena Furnace is experimental Empire equipment designed to reverse the diversification of exotic beasts by fusing many species into an approximation of their primordial ancestor. (Chapters 753–754)

History

The Imperial Princess shows Xu Bai a furnace whose research program had briefly produced a creature more terrifying than the Nine-Headed Bird, only for it to dissolve soon afterward. The Empire reports improved catalysts and proposes Same Heart-Linking control over future fusion bodies, estimating successful specimens at no weaker than Dao Integration. Xu Bai recognizes the underlying model as Emperor Yi, although that interpretation is his inference from Fallen Immortal Realm knowledge rather than a demonstrated construction record. Li Fan later places an operative furnace beneath the Beast Realm and feeds it a vast collection of frozen exotic beasts, Red Nine-Headed flesh, and Kunpeng essence blood. The furnace produces the Emperor One Beast, whose pressure could challenge Dao Integration cultivators but which Mr. Bai steadily destroys before its booby-trapped remnant self-detonates. In a later branch, the place where the furnace once stood in the Empire treasury contains a different hourglass-like spiritual-energy machine, so the corpus does not establish one unchanged furnace persisting across every cycle. Description and function

The furnace is a massive metal vessel engraved with thousands of lifelike exotic beasts. It radiates heat without visible fire, while impacts and the mingled cries of beasts can be heard within. As beast matter is added, the engravings illuminate and a mysterious fusion force accumulates. (Chapters 753–754, 780–782)

Abilities and limitations

Multi-species fusion

The furnace disassembles and recombines flesh from numerous exotic-beast species into a single ancestral form. Greater variety and rare bloodlines strengthen the result; Li Fan uses tens of thousands of stored specimens plus Red Nine-Headed and Kunpeng material to produce an Emperor One Beast whose pressure is difficult even for ordinary Dao Integration cultivators to withstand. Stability and control

Fusion is naturally restricted: the Empire's first terrifying specimen dissolves quickly, and Li Fan's loaded furnace shakes, creaks, and appears close to exploding. The Empire intends to preserve Same Heart-Linking bonds and combine linked mental waves into a control device, but no supplied scene proves stable mass production or reliable control of a finished Dao Integration-class beast. Li Fan explicitly welcomes chaos and uses his beast as a distraction rather than a safe subordinate. (Chapters 753–754, 780–794)

Custody and users

The Empire creates and initially stores the furnace in its treasury. Xu Bai inspects it as a Federation negotiator but does not personally own it. Li Fan later operates a furnace in a concealed Beast Realm chamber and controls the materials and deployment of its Emperor One Beast. The text does not show a simple permanent transfer document, so development ownership and later physical custody should remain distinct. (Chapters 753–754, 780–794)
