Biography

A Guest Suddenly Arrives

Wearing a raincoat and carrying a bamboo fishing basket, the Old Fisherman appears while roaming provinces for something he has lost. He follows the aura of Li Fan's Five Elements Annihilation Sword because it resembles the missing object, then conducts a disturbing exchange in which Lu Xuejing is treated through his rules of possession and made to obey a new holder. Later scenes place him among ancient survivors confronting the Heavenly Doctor, where Hanhai identifies the confused fisherman as Tian Jue and accuses him of destroying Cloud Water Heavenly Palace. His own recovered admission supports that revelation, though his damaged state leaves the path between identities obscure. (Chapters 326–349; Chapter 589)

Appearance and personality

He appears as an old man in a raincoat with a bamboo fishing basket that contains something struggling. His speech and behavior shift between childlike confusion, sharp supernatural perception, possessive rules, and flashes of ancient memory.
