Tian Jue

Tian Jue is an old fisherman whose buried identity as a Venerable of the Heavenly Law Realm returns alongside dangerous black fiendish energy and a fragment of the Heavenly Calamity Sword.

Biography

Chapter 598

Tian Jue initially appears in the guise of an old fisherman before contact with the Heavenly Doctor helps restore the name and authority attached to his Heavenly Law past. Black fiendish aura and a Heavenly Calamity Sword fragment connect him to violent inherited power, while recovered memories seem to implicate him in killings that include Qin Tang. Those recollections are later shown to be manipulated or otherwise contested, so they cannot support a simple confession-based biography. His continuing role is that of an heir or bearer of Heavenly Law authority attempting to act through damaged memory. The Heavenly Doctor's own name or title Tianyi belongs to the doctor and is never an alias for Tian Jue. (Chapters 598–600, 914, 953–957, and 1136)

Tian Jue is first presented as an old fisherman, an unassuming exterior that contrasts with the black fiendish aura and sword power tied to his restored identity.
