Lu Xuejing
Lu Xuejing is Lu Xichan's impulsive daughter, a Foundation Establishment cultivator whose attempt to provoke the Old Fisherman leaves her bound to Li Fan's commands.
Biography
Obtaining a Second Generation Cultivator
Lu Xuejing slips away while her mother is occupied because rumors about the Old Fisherman excite her curiosity. After insulting the mysterious trader when he ignores her, she is captured and becomes subject to a remote command bond that Li Fan inherits or imitates. She resists his humiliating orders with visible fury, but punishment teaches her that refusal brings severe pain. Li Fan later uses the connection cautiously to obtain information about Lu Xichan, while Lu Xuejing warns him of danger in Tianling Province. Her recklessness thus becomes constrained service, although her warnings show continued awareness and agency inside the coercive relationship. (Chapters 328–330, 374–378, and 405)
Appearance and personality
Lu Xuejing is a young woman with a beautiful face and an expressive glare; prolonged punishment leaves her pale and drenched in sweat. She is curious, proud, reckless, and openly resentful of humiliation. Fear eventually tempers her defiance without turning the coercion into genuine loyalty. (Chapters 328–330)
Abilities and cultivation
Foundation Establishment cultivation
Lu Xuejing is explicitly a Foundation Establishment cultivator, but the supplied chapters do not give her a named signature combat technique or a reliable later realm progression. (Chapters 328–330)
Fisherman command bond
The bond lets its controller sense part of her surroundings, speak into her mind, issue compulsory orders, and inflict pain for resistance. It is imposed on Lu Xuejing rather than learned by her, and therefore belongs under her limitations rather than as voluntary mastery. (Chapters 329–330 and 374)
Relationships
- Lu Xichan is Lu Xuejing's powerful mother, whose movements Li Fan tries to monitor through her.
- Li Fan controls and exploits the Fisherman bond while sometimes relying on Lu Xuejing's warnings.
- Old Fisherman is the figure whose punishment originally traps her in the arrangement.
Items
- Communication talisman — Briefly used as a contact method before Li Fan realizes the command bond already permits direct communication; it is not a defining personal treasure. (Chapters 329–330)
