Biography

Cloudwater mission and the Immortal Sutra

The Heavenly Doctor first answered Fan Lin's request through the Tianxuan Mirror. His kindly appearance and lack of detectable cultivator aura made him seem like an ordinary elderly physician, yet he immediately knew the requested Cloud Water Map mattered beyond an ordinary commission. He accepted the map, transmitted the enormous Heavenly Doctor Immortal Sutra as payment, and assigned Fan Lin to carry a white jade figure into Cloudwater Heavenly Palace. The exchange made Li Fan the beneficiary of a comprehensive medical tradition while also exposing him to an expert whose actual purpose remained unstated. (Chapter 93)

When the courier reached the palace, the white jade figure functioned as the Doctor's remote manifestation rather than his true body. Cloudwater Master and the palace's hostile anomalies recognized it with hatred, but the figure suppressed the disturbance and released a precisely controlled shockwave that restored and resealed the environment instead of simply destroying it. The intervention established the scale and ambiguity of his practice: he could “treat” a damaged space as if it were a patient, preserve the larger structure, and use a low-level intermediary without explaining why he would not enter personally. Seeing through the clone and reaching toward Truth

In a later life, Li Fan repeated the Cloudwater mission with advance knowledge and sent a prepared clone in place of his main body. The substitution did not deceive the Heavenly Doctor. Using the physician's sequence of observation, listening, inquiry, and pulse-taking, he read not only the clone's body but its anticipation and concealed intent. He froze it, temporarily prevented its destruction, and demanded an explanation for knowledge the supposed stranger should not possess. His interest was diagnostic rather than angry: an impossible discrepancy had appeared, and he intended to trace its cause regardless of the subject's consent. (Chapter 215)

The investigation followed the clone connection back into the Tianxuan Mirror's private space. Even there, the Heavenly Doctor's perception reached toward Li Fan and interfered with the activation of Truth, turning a disposable encounter into a direct threat to the original. Truth ultimately extracted Li Fan, so the Doctor did not capture the secret or stop the return. The escape nevertheless changed Li Fan's strategy: a clone was not a reliable screen against this physician, and any future true-body contact carried an existential risk far beyond ordinary combat. Treatment of Tian Jue and Tian Yu and erasure of witnesses

Cloudwater Heavenly Palace later became the battlefield for figures tied to the Heavenly Law system. When the Doctor's jade manifestation was pierced, its destruction did not kill him; colossal hands belonging to the true expert projected into the palace instead. He suppressed Tian Jue and Tian Yu and placed nine silver needles with clinical precision. The operation restored phenomena around the palace and treated the combatants as damaged components of a larger system, showing that his medicine could restrain beings at a level ordinary cultivators could barely observe. Once the central “patients” and palace state had been corrected, the assembled cultivators received no comparable mercy. The Heavenly Doctor pressed down and erased every outside witness, including Li Fan's clone, leaving the palace with the appearance of an untouched place. The act clarifies the moral scale behind his gentle bedside manner. He does not preserve every individual simply because he calls himself a doctor; when people become contamination, witnesses, or obstacles to the state he wants restored, their deaths can be part of the treatment. Star Sea encounter and Record of Mending Heaven

Li Fan next met the Heavenly Doctor beyond Xuanhuang, moving freely through the Star Sea despite the Immortal Ruins' attraction that constrained other known Longevity experts. The Doctor enclosed him in an apparently endless spatial interval and neutralized incoming sword light without treating the encounter as a serious battle. Rather than kill him, he gave him a golden jade slip containing the Record of Mending Heaven. The gift reframed the Doctor's profession: the “body” under examination could be an injured cultivation world, and suitable knowledge could be planted in a useful recipient. (Chapters 912–914)

The same encounter showed the bodily side of that medicine when the Doctor treated Han Zhong with an ordered set of eighty-one needles. His work on a cultivator and his proposed repair of remnant worlds were expressions of the same method—diagnose structure, identify the obstructed principles, and intervene at the level that governs the whole. Li Fan received both a valuable theory and a warning. The Doctor's ability to traverse the Star Sea and control the encounter placed him outside the limits Li Fan had used to classify Xuanhuang's other great powers. (Chapters 914–915)

World-stitching plan and uncertain relation to the Immortal Ancestor

Evidence gathered much later led Li Fan to reconstruct a world-scale project. Species and geography associated with the Heavenly Law Realm appeared within modern Xuanhuang, while the Record of Mending Heaven described saving a dying world by borrowing another shell and stitching remnant worlds into it. Li Fan therefore inferred that the Heavenly Doctor and the Immortal Ancestor had gathered fragments and used Xuanhuang as the body through which the Heavenly Law Realm could continue. This is a reasoned hypothesis supported by environmental and doctrinal clues, not a narrated confession from either participant. (Chapters 1135–1136)

The relationship between the two experts remained especially uncertain. Earlier reasoning suggested that the Immortal Ancestor might be the Doctor's clone, and prior-life combat showed them combining needles with Sealing Soul, Substituting World methods during the defense of Xuanhuang. By Chapter 1321, however, Li Fan revised the model: the Heavenly Demon lodged in the Ancestor's soul could explain the Doctor's control without requiring clone identity. The secure conclusion is collaboration or control in service of world repair; whether the Ancestor began as ally, patient, vessel, or clone is not resolved by the supplied text. Golden-needle intervention against the Holy Emperor

When Li Ping temporarily reached power near Longevity through the Xuanhuang Great Celestial Venerable path, the Heavenly Doctor intervened from a distance. A single silver needle met the Holy Emperor's world-backed force and held it in stalemate, preventing the new authority from expanding unchecked. Li Ping chose withdrawal rather than continue an encounter whose source he could not safely reach. The scene made a small medical instrument the strategic equal of a world-scale cultivation transformation, without proving that either side had exhausted all of its power. (Chapters 1233–1234)

During the later war, golden needles appeared around Xuanhuang and sealed the Holy Emperor's attempt to transform the world. The Heavenly Doctor acted in concert with the Immortal Ancestor's defense while remaining beyond the battlefield, forcing Li Ping to redirect his plan toward locating the remote physician. The intervention reinforces the Doctor's consistent view of uncontrolled change as pathology: Li Ping's alternate order was not debated as politics but restrained like a dangerous process in a patient's body. It also shows that the Doctor's needles can function as a world-enclosing formation rather than only point instruments. (Chapter 1300)

High Wall trap and exposure of a possible-history self

At the High Wall breach, the actual chronology begins with the Heavenly Doctor arriving rapidly, casting fine golden threads that seized demon souls, and encountering Li Fan's immortal-grade Illusory Xuanhuang, Multitudinous Living Beings Grand Formation. The formation delayed and enclosed him while Mo Rubin attacked the barrier from outside. This framing remains real: the Doctor sought control of the breach and was caught in an artificial possibility. What follows does not replace his past or prove that he literally repeated a lifetime inside the formation. (Chapter 1363)

Within the possible history, he became the Great Venerable of All Laws by concentrating the Heavenly Law Realm's Venerable resonance, gathered and merged worlds, controlled powerful beings through demon possession and needles, approached the Supreme limit, and studied the High Wall. When forced to choose, he surrendered irreplaceable enlightenment to weave a cocoon around his homeland, then recognized flaws in the scenario. The possibility vanished in Chapter 1367. Li Fan treated its mechanics and thoughts as authentic diagnostic information and identified Supreme Realm as the Doctor's current claim outside it, but the real attainment route and chapter are absent. Appearance and personality

The Heavenly Doctor is a white-haired elderly man with a wrinkled face, pale beard, and benevolent expression. In later appearances his cloudy eyes remain attentive rather than vacant. He often emits no cultivator aura and can resemble an ordinary mortal physician, a presentation that makes his impossible control of space, souls, and worlds more unsettling. White jade figures, silver or golden needles, and hair-fine golden threads are his recurring visual motifs; destroying a jade figure does not injure the true body in the same way. His manner is patient, scholarly, and gently inquisitive, but his curiosity is clinical and invasive. He preserves a clone long enough to question it, follows its connection into protected space, and kills a palace full of witnesses after finishing the operation he values. Those acts are not eruptions of temper. They show a practitioner who subordinates individual autonomy and survival to diagnosis, control, and correction of a larger body. (Chapters 215–216, 598–602)

The possible history reveals a devotion that complicates any simple label of benevolent sage or villain. The Doctor is prepared to possess experts, rewrite worlds, and harvest their principles, yet when High Wall enlightenment conflicts with saving his homeland, he gives up the personal Dao opportunity and protects the world instead. Because those events occur inside the formation, they are evidence of his authentic priorities as exposed by the formation, not a literal record of deeds. Abilities and cultivation

The Heavenly Doctor is introduced after he has already surpassed the ordinary realm ladder, so the corpus does not supply a conventional progression from Qi Condensation upward. His methods join medicine, Heavenly Law authority, world repair, and Star Sea movement. The formation possibility can reveal mechanics and thoughts, but it cannot be used to backfill a factual early biography. Heavenly Doctor Immortal Sutra and fourfold diagnosis

The Heavenly Doctor Immortal Sutra is his immense medical corpus, covering medicines, living structures, hidden potential, and principles that can be applied by analogy to worlds. His practical diagnosis follows observation, listening, inquiry, and pulse-taking. These steps reach beyond symptoms: he reads a clone's expectation, detects a contradiction in identity, and follows the relationship between body, soul, and hidden original. The Star Sea meeting shows the same outlook extended to damaged worlds, whose laws and remaining vitality can be examined like organs. (Chapters 93, 215–216, 912–915)

The method is extraordinarily penetrating but not stated to be omniscient. Truth still removes Li Fan from his reach, and the Doctor must investigate discrepancies rather than instantly knowing their complete cause. Transmission of the Sutra also separates authorship from custody: Fan Lin receives a copy as payment, so the knowledge can circulate without the Doctor physically accompanying it. Silver, golden, transparent, and seven-colored needles

Needles are both medical instruments and manifestations of authority. Sets of nine restrain Tian Jue and Tian Yu; eighty-one treat Han Zhong; distant silver force contests the Holy Emperor; and golden arrays can encircle a world. Elsewhere needles act on souls, acupoints, consciousness, possessed bodies, and world processes. Color and number change with the task, and the corpus does not establish that every appearance is the same enduring physical set rather than instruments manifested from the Doctor's cultivation. Their precision does not make them irresistible. Powerful targets or unusual demon souls can repel, scatter, or consume needles, and world-scale operations may rely on prepared conditions or cooperation with the Immortal Ancestor. At the High Wall the Doctor still uses them actively, showing no lasting loss of the method. The formation possibility further exposes how needle control can combine with Heavenly Demon possession, but that concrete campaign belongs to the generated history rather than his confirmed inventory of actual victims. Golden Dao threads and medical body-net

The Doctor's nearly invisible golden threads embody comprehension of laws. They can weave nets, seize souls, rewrite or restrain targets, join world fragments, and form barriers or cocoons. In the possible history he can turn his own body into a dense intersecting net that receives and disperses annihilating impact, making anatomy and law structure the same defensive medium. At the real High Wall breach, golden threads capture demon souls before the possibility sequence begins, confirming that the basic method exists outside the formation. (Chapters 1363–1367)

Threads may be temporary and can fade when the supporting manifestation ends. They can also be contested through unusual possession or interrupted before a complete structure is woven. Most importantly, even the Doctor's insight does not let him perfectly reproduce the High Wall: insufficient understanding leaves defects in the imitation he creates to protect the Heavenly Law Realm. His latest visible defense remains the golden barrier and cocoon logic exposed around the breach, not an unlimited power to rewrite every law. (Chapters 1363–1367)

Projection, spatial control, and Star Sea traversal

White jade figures allow the Heavenly Doctor to act at a distance, while enormous projected hands answer the destruction of one such medium. He can freeze a clone, reach through its connection, stretch a short distance into an apparently endless interval, and confine a target without ordinary movement. Beyond Xuanhuang he travels despite the Immortal Ruins' pull and arrives rapidly at the High Wall breach. These displays place his mobility and spatial control above the limitations normally attributed to Longevity experts. (Chapters 93, 123–124, 215–216, 598–602, 912–915, 1363)

Projection preserves the true body but is not identical to invulnerability. A jade figure can be pierced or destroyed, ending that local medium, and the reason he initially cannot or will not enter Cloudwater Palace himself is never explained. The High Wall also remains a genuine boundary: rapid arrival does not grant passage through it, and Li Fan's formation can exploit the breach as a place to trap him. Eternal Dao resonance and world surgery

The clearest mechanics of the Heavenly Law system appear inside the formation possibility. Venerables resonate with the Heavenly Law Realm's Eternal Dao; concentrating that resonance in one survivor produces the Great Venerable of All Laws, able to enforce, freeze, absorb, and rearrange a world's governing principles. The Doctor's Mending Heaven doctrine and the stitched geography of Xuanhuang support the broader practice of acquiring remnant worlds and joining them into a viable shell outside that possibility. The costs are visible even in the generated scenario. Freezing an entire world's Eternal Dao drains the Doctor's vitality, merging worlds requires compatible material and control, and Supreme Realm remains beneath a severed Immortal Path. The exact real-world route by which he reached his claimed Supreme Realm is not supplied, so the Great Venerable sequence cannot be turned into literal attainment chronology. Li Fan

Li Fan begins as a courier and partial student, receiving the Immortal Sutra and Record of Mending Heaven, but quickly becomes a diagnostic anomaly and later an adversarial formation master. The Heavenly Doctor sees through his clone and reaches toward Truth; Li Fan responds across later lives by avoiding direct exposure, reconstructing the Doctor's world plan, and finally trapping him in a possibility formation. Their relationship combines teacher and beneficiary, physician and unwilling subject, and rival investigators who extract knowledge from one another. Immortal Ancestor

The Immortal Ancestor is the Doctor's collaborator or controlled instrument in world repair and defense. They combine methods in the prior-life war and oppose changes that threaten their Xuanhuang project. Li Fan's early clone hypothesis is never confirmed; his later Heavenly Demon explanation makes control without shared identity more likely. Li Ping

Li Ping represents an alternate world order the Doctor restrains. A distant needle stops his temporary half-step-Longevity force, and later golden needles help block his transformation of Xuanhuang. Li Ping accordingly treats locating the remote Doctor as a strategic necessity. Mo Rubin

Mo Rubin attacks the golden barrier around the High Wall breach while the Doctor is caught in Li Fan's formation. His pressure helps define the real frame around the possible-history sequence, but the supplied chapters do not resolve a final duel or establish that either man kills the other. Heavenly Law Realm

The Heavenly Law Realm is the Doctor's deepest allegiance and the source of his Eternal Dao framework. His world-stitching project appears aimed at preserving its laws or life through a borrowed shell. The possibility formation exposes the limit of that attachment: even after pursuing the High Wall for enlightenment, he chooses the world's survival over completing his own insight.
