Biography

Regional War and World Competition

Chen enters Silky Soft Holdings as a newly hired secretary, introducing herself with the spelling Cheng Xue Yao. She is outwardly warm and conversational, but her first meeting also shows deliberate self-protection: while leaning over Zhang's desk she uses one hand to block his view and maintains a carefully judged physical distance. The alternating Chen and Cheng spellings begin almost immediately in the translation, while her identity, job, and later in-game name remain continuous; the corpus never presents a second woman with the other spelling.
