Luo Qiqi

Luo Qiqi, born Luo Yuxin, is the Luo Clan's little princess, the human incarnation of the Dimension Silencer's spirit, and Zhang Xuan's apothecary student. She first appears under a concealed identity as a brilliant but reserved Hongyuan Master Teacher Academy student. Her apprenticeship begins with pill forging and grows through dangerous expeditions, professional study, and a devotion to Zhang Xuan that survives rejection, a disastrously mistaken engagement, separation across worlds, and the revelation that her human life is inseparable from one of the greatest spatial artifacts in existence. Her story repeatedly turns on the conflict between duty and chosen attachment. Luo Qiqi flees the expectations attached to her birth because she wants an ordinary life; when her clan arranges the marriage she once dreamed of, she lets Zhang Xuan leave rather than force him to abandon the woman he loves. Later, she tears through a dimension barrier to follow him, gives up a likely conferment under Fairy Linglong, and fights beside him against threats to the Firmament. In the final side story, the creator of the Firmament restores her primordial spatial authority, and Luo Ruoxin joins Zhang Xuan in inviting her into their wedding, finally bringing her long-unrequited love to a consensual resolution. Biography

Building a life behind a borrowed identity

Luo Qiqi enters the story as a young 5-star master teacher traveling with her close friend Yu Fei-er. Outsiders believe that she is a princess connected to the Baiyuan Empire, and her cold disposition and cultivation make even established master teachers wary of offending her. The truth is more deliberate: born Luo Yuxin, she has fled the Luo Clan, used the Dimension Silencer to seal her bloodline and cultivation, and lost part of her memory in the process. The Baiyuan royal family, indebted to her for earlier help, supplies a convincing identity that lets her enroll at Hongyuan Master Teacher Academy beyond her clan's reach. Her first personal bond with Zhang Xuan forms at the Huanyu Empire Apothecary Guild. Wanting to learn from the unknown expert before her, she accepts his exact instructions through a dangerous forging process and successfully produces a grade-6 medicinal solution. Zhang Xuan values both her talent and her willingness to trust a teacher under pressure, accepts her as his apothecary student, and calls her Little Qi. For Luo Qiqi, the acknowledgement is not a convenient exchange: she kowtows sincerely and begins following him as the person capable of showing her a life beyond the role assigned at birth. Even at this stage, her restraint conceals strong ambition and an unusual appetite for learning. She already has high attainment as a master teacher and apothecary, yet lowers her pride without hesitation when she sees a better path. That combination—an aloof surface, meticulous preparation, and readiness to act decisively once convinced—becomes the pattern behind both her professional development and her later choices concerning Zhang Xuan. Following Wu Yangzi's trail

Luo Qiqi's study of blacksmithing leads her to one of her earliest independent achievements. Fascinated by the missing grandmaster Wu Yangzi and his incomplete Zither Forging Technique, she notices old weapons in the Huanyu Empire bearing traces of his method, investigates their origin, and obtains a map to an underground chamber. The deduction succeeds where generations of better-established experts failed, demonstrating that her scholarship is not ornamental: she connects technical detail to physical evidence and organizes an academy mission around the result. The expedition also shows her practical judgment. Before the group enters the sealed chamber, she prepares antidotes against ancient fumes and tries to keep the party from rushing blindly into danger. The mission proves far deadlier than expected, with traps, Otherworldly Demons, and a blacksmithing trial blocking escape. Luo Qiqi cannot overpower every threat, but she remains an active problem-solver and follows Zhang Xuan's technical directions closely enough to carry out procedures beyond her normal grade. Their solution requires reforging Zhang Xuan's Glacier Rain Sword. Luo Qiqi supplies the hands and control while he diagnoses the process, and she continues even when the sword appears to melt and the unconventional mixture of smithing and medicinal extracts seems impossible. The successful upgrade earns access to Wu Yangzi's inheritance and reinforces her faith in Zhang Xuan's teaching. The episode also deepens her feelings: his readiness to risk his own weapon and guide her through failure becomes personal proof that he trusts her capacity rather than merely protecting her. Choosing honesty before separation

At Hongyuan and Qingyuan, Luo Qiqi continues accompanying Zhang Xuan through examinations, travel, and danger. She is a formation master as well as an apothecary and blacksmith, improves rapidly under his guidance, and repeatedly chooses to follow him even when he tells her that an errand is unsuitable or dangerous. The habit is not blind dependence. She seeks opportunities to learn, watches how he solves unfamiliar problems, and uses the resulting knowledge to narrow the gap between the identity she has assumed and the extraordinary instincts sealed inside her. (Chapters 921–925, 1,141–1,145)

Her affection eventually becomes impossible to contain. In Qingyuan City she tells Zhang Xuan explicitly that her feelings exceed those of a student for a teacher. He evades the confession at first and later tries to answer through conduct rather than cruelty, spending a final day teaching her pill forging while making clear that he regards her as a precious student, not a romantic partner. Luo Qiqi understands the rejection, but neither denial nor distance erases what she feels. (Chapters 1,156, 1,200–1,202)

The timing is especially painful because her recovered cultivation has exposed her bloodline to the Luo Clan. Knowing that she will be taken home, she gives Zhang Xuan valuable medicinal herbs under the pretext of practicing pill forging and says farewell without revealing the full reason. Once Luo Chengxin finds her, the ordinary life she built under the name Luo Qiqi ends; she returns as Luo Yuxin, the clan's little princess and the woman promised to the young head of the Zhang Clan. The engagement that mistakes love for destiny

The Luo Clan and Zhang Clan engagement appears to grant Luo Qiqi the dream she scarcely dared to name. Zhang Xuan arrives to marry the little princess believing that she is Luo Ruoxin, while Luo Qiqi believes that he has finally chosen her. Her sealed memories have returned, but her feelings have not changed; after a lifetime of being treated as an irreplaceable clan asset, she wants the simple happiness of marrying the person who first let her define herself. The truth emerges only when bride and groom meet and Luo Ruoxin interrupts the ceremony. (Chapters 1,574, 1,577)

Luo Qiqi immediately understands that the proposal was founded on mistaken identity. Her response is grief rather than entitlement. Although the public humiliation injures both her and the Luo Clan, she does not use the Dimension Silencer or her family's power to compel Zhang Xuan. When her brother, Luo Xuanqing, and the clan elders try to stop him from leaving, she breaks their spatial blockade and asks to handle her own future, prioritizing his freedom to choose even while she cannot bring herself to pronounce the engagement dead. Zhang Xuan therefore nullifies the engagement in his own name and accepts responsibility for the disgrace. Before he leaves, Luo Qiqi asks whether he will still teach her pill forging, preserving the relationship that mattered before clan politics turned it into a marriage. Soon afterward, when envoys from the Hundred Schools of Philosophers humiliate the Luo Clan, she rejects the birth name they address her by and declares that from then on she is Luo Qiqi. The choice is a statement of agency: Luo Yuxin is the role others designed, while Luo Qiqi is the self she built through memory loss, study, and love. (Chapters 1,580, 1,616–1,617)

Becoming one with the Dimension Silencer

Luo Qiqi returns during the opening of the Temple of Confucius with far greater command of the Dimension Silencer. In the Hall of Lull, she protects Wei Ruyan and defeats a group from the Hundred Schools of Philosophers by sealing the surrounding space and moving freely through it. Zhang Xuan observes that her control is no longer a crude release of an artifact's force; person and orb act as a single system, and her movements have become precise enough to overwhelm a coordinated group of Sempiternal realm cultivators. The reunion does not resolve her feelings. Zhang Xuan rejects her directly, citing both his love for Luo Ruoxin and the impropriety of a teacher-student romance. Luo Qiqi is devastated but continues into the Temple's trials and remains aligned with him. This capacity to keep acting after emotional loss is central to her development: she does not become indifferent, but she learns to separate pain from the responsibilities and people she still values. Only much later does Luo Xuanqing explain her complete origin. The Dimension Silencer's spirit awakened after five of her elder brothers sacrificed their blood essence to stabilize the artifact; that spirit entered her mother's womb and was born as a flesh-and-blood daughter of the Luo Clan. Her rising cultivation and desire to follow Zhang Xuan eventually resonate with the artifact strongly enough to exceed the Master Teacher Continent's limits. She and the Dimension Silencer are expelled into higher space, leaving neither a trace in the Azure nor a route home. (Chapters 2,077–2,080)

Crossing worlds and receiving an answer

Luo Qiqi's ascent strands her in spatial turbulence, but Fairy Linglong rescues her and brings her to the Firmament. Because the Dimension Silencer itself originated there, her cultivation rises to God King realm pinnacle within a month, and her spatial gifts make her dangerous even to ordinary Conferred God Kings. When Zhang Xuan appears in Linglong Royal City and kills Baiye Qinghong, Luo Qiqi pleads for him before Fairy Linglong, offers to bear his punishment, and then chooses to leave the monarch's protection so she can remain at his side. She then becomes indispensable to Zhang Xuan's return toward the lower worlds. Luo Qiqi reads distorted space directly, teaches him how to adjust his perception inside a spatial vortex, freezes turbulence as the Dimension Silencer, and leads him through chaotic space that even Conferred God Kings could not safely traverse. The journey exhausts her and briefly exposes her to corrosive gray energy, but it also lets her address her deepest regret by returning toward the Luo Clan and the family she left behind. In the Flooding Sea, she continues beside Zhang Xuan as an unconferred God King whose command of space exceeds ordinary rank. She helps him reach otherwise inaccessible treasures, fights in the coalition resisting Vicious, and freezes the surrounding space while the Firmament's strongest defenders buy Zhang Xuan time. She survives the battle and remains present when his transcendence stabilizes the collapsing world. (Chapters 2,257–2,264)

The side story set at Zhang Xuan and Luo Ruoxin's wedding gives Luo Qiqi her latest resolution. Nie Yun identifies her as primordial earth-aspected energy created with the Firmament, fallen into the mortal world as the Dimension Silencer, and makes her Overseer of the Firmament's space—an office whose authority leaves most God Monarchs beneath her even though it is not strictly the same title. When he asks whether she wants to marry Zhang Xuan, she admits that she does but refuses to damage the couple's hard-won bond. Luo Ruoxin then dresses her as a bride, Zhang Xuan asks for her consent, and the three leave the ceremony together as spouses. (Chapters 2,267)

Appearance and personality

Luo Qiqi is introduced as a striking young woman with an icy bearing, a reputation severe enough that older master teachers advise others not to offend her, and a beauty repeatedly noted by those around her. After she unseals her bloodline and cultivation, her appearance becomes even more refined; Zhang Xuan can still recognize his student through her gaze, gestures, and disposition even though the little princess standing before him is more beautiful than the Luo Qiqi he remembers. In her wedding appearance, a magnificent red gown and tiara frame her as a second bride beside Luo Ruoxin. (Chapters 609, 1,577, 2,267)

Her reserve is not emotional emptiness. Luo Qiqi is conscientious, tenacious, and extraordinarily observant: she trusts exact instruction under pressure, reconstructs Wu Yangzi's trail from technical traces, prepares for risks others overlook, and remains focused in dangerous spatial environments. She can also be obstinate. Once she chooses a teacher, a name, or a person to love, neither humiliation nor a shift in status easily dislodges that decision. Compassion and self-restraint keep that obstinacy from becoming possession. She is willing to confront her clan for Zhang Xuan, accept punishment in his place, and cross worlds to find him, but she also releases him from the Luo Clan's blockade and initially refuses a wedding that might hurt Luo Ruoxin. Her development lies less in abandoning her desires than in voicing them without disguising their cost: by the end, she can say plainly that she wants the marriage while still insisting that it must not be obtained through another person's suffering. Spatial authority and the Dimension Silencer

Luo Qiqi is both a human daughter of the Luo Clan and the reincarnated spirit of the Dimension Silencer. The artifact can seal an area's space, break or stabilize dimension barriers, arrest spatial turbulence, and create traversable paths through warped regions. As her memories and cultivation return, she progresses from using its power imperfectly to becoming one with it, shifting freely between human and orb forms and manipulating spatial laws with a sensitivity beyond most God Monarchs. Her spatial ability is powerful but not costless. Sealing her own bloodline through the Dimension Silencer reduces her cultivation, hides memories, and leaves gaps in her control. Stabilizing tens of thousands of li of distorted space in the Firmament drains her severely, and non-spatial corrosive energy can still injure her. The final grant of authority from Nie Yun changes this balance: as Overseer of the Firmament's space, she gains a direct connection to the Nine Skies and power over spatial law several thousand times greater than before. Luo Qiqi is an accomplished master teacher, apothecary, blacksmith, and formation master. Her apothecary apprenticeship begins with a grade-6 medicinal solution, her blacksmithing research uncovers Wu Yangzi's chamber, and her smithing control helps reforge the Glacier Rain Sword. Her supporting occupations are united by patient analysis: she studies structures, recognizes technical signatures, and executes complicated sequences faithfully rather than relying only on the power sealed in her bloodline. In direct combat, she combines high cultivation with spatial suppression. The Dimension Silencer can immobilize or restrict opponents before they act, letting her move through a battlefield with an advantage that raw speed cannot easily answer. At Sempiternal realm consummation she defeats multiple elite descendants of the Hundred Schools of Philosophers; as a God King pinnacle expert in the Firmament, her artifact-derived spatial control makes ordinary Conferred God Kings hard-pressed to oppose her. Cultivation and latest state

Luo Qiqi's apparent Transcendent Mortal cultivation is the result of a self-imposed seal rather than the limit of her potential. Recovery of her memories and bloodline returns her rapidly to the top echelon of the Master Teacher Continent, reaching Saint 9-dan around the engagement and Sempiternal realm consummation by the Temple of Confucius. Her full resonance with the Dimension Silencer then forces her out of the lower world. (Chapters 1,577–1,579, 1,742, 2,077)

Back in the Dimension Silencer's native Firmament, she reaches God King realm pinnacle in about a month without the normal bottlenecks and can contend beyond the expectations of that realm. At her latest appearance, Nie Yun does not classify her strictly as a God Monarch; he calls her the Overseer of the Firmament's space. Zhang Xuan

Zhang Xuan is Luo Qiqi's apothecary teacher, closest chosen attachment, and eventual husband. She admires him first as the teacher who sees her talent without requiring her inherited identity, then loves him with a persistence that becomes both her greatest source of courage and her deepest pain. He cares for her as a student for most of the story and repeatedly refuses romance; only after he transcends the emotional suppression associated with the Library of Heaven's Path does he accept her at the final wedding, with both Luo Qiqi's and Luo Ruoxin's explicit consent. Luo Ruoxin

Luo Ruoxin is initially the person whose existence exposes the mistaken engagement and ends Luo Qiqi's hope of marrying Zhang Xuan. Despite the pain, Luo Qiqi recognizes that their relationship is mutual and refuses to tear it apart. Luo Ruoxin, in turn, comes to recognize Luo Qiqi's goodness and sacrifices. The final invitation for Luo Qiqi to join the wedding turns a rivalry imposed by mistaken identities into an agreement made openly among all three people. (Chapters 1,577–1,580, 1,698, 2,267)

The Luo Clan and Luo Xuanqing

The Luo Clan is both Luo Qiqi's family and the institution whose expectations drive her into hiding. Five elder brothers die to stabilize the Dimension Silencer before her birth, while Luo Xuanqing becomes the surviving brother who protects her fiercely and ultimately explains her origin. She opposes the clan when it tries to detain Zhang Xuan, but she never ceases caring for her relatives; one reason she accompanies Zhang Xuan into the spatial vortex is the hope of returning home to them. Yu Fei-er and Fairy Linglong

Yu Fei-er is Luo Qiqi's close friend from Hongyuan, one of the few people connected to the ordinary life she creates while hiding her past. Luo Qiqi quietly helps Yu Fei-er receive better guidance, and their reunion in the Temple of Confucius is affectionate despite the emotional complications surrounding Zhang Xuan. Fairy Linglong later becomes rescuer, patron, and protective elder: she saves Luo Qiqi from spatial turbulence, supplies the resources that restore her strength, respects her choice to follow Zhang Xuan, and continues worrying about her happiness through the final wedding.
