Glacier Rain Sword

The Glacier Rain Sword is Zhang Xuan's personal cold-attribute blade from the Mystical Treasure Hall. It begins as an upgradable Spirit intermediate-tier pinnacle weapon and becomes a Half-Saint weapon through Luo Qiqi's forging under Zhang's guidance. (Chapters 638, 666–671)

History

Acknowledgment and emergency reforging

Zhang Xuan has the newly obtained sword acknowledge him and finds its balance convenient. In Wu Yangzi's underground complex, he offers it for an emergency upgrade needed to kill a powerful puppet. Luo Qiqi combines smithing and pill-forging procedures under his exact instructions; the blade appears to melt and nearly fail, but medicinal extracts and the final quenching process instead drive it beyond the planned Spirit pinnacle tier to Half-Saint. (Chapters 638, 666–671)

A reliable blade against stronger enemies

The upgraded sword immediately cuts through a defense that had trapped the group, then remains among Zhang's regular weapons against Otherworldly Demon kings and soul-oracle enemies. Its sharpness is insufficient to breach Jadeleaf King's body unaided, and Qingtian Emperor can knock it from Zhang's control, establishing that Half-Saint rank remains formidable but not absolute against later Saint-level opponents. (Chapters 671, 1,052, 1,188–1,220)

Abilities and properties

The blade's cold attribute lowers its melting point and makes reforging unusually risky. Its upgradable foundation accepts Cold Emerald Stone and medicinal materials, while the successful hybrid forging gives it Half-Saint sharpness capable of cutting targets beyond Spirit pinnacle weapons. It remains a conventional wielded artifact without an independently speaking spirit in the cited evidence. (Chapters 666–671)
