Luo Xuanqing

Luo Xuanqing is a core heir of the Luo Clan, the sixth elder brother of Luo Qiqi, and an exceptionally combative spatial cultivator. At the Sanctum of Sages, his habit of demolishing buildings and challenging anyone who displeases him earns him the title King of Destruction. Beneath that unruly reputation, he is fiercely protective of his family and sufficiently controlled to avoid seriously harming weaker opponents. (Chapters 1,313 and 1,336–1,337)

His friendship with Zhang Xuan develops through a shared taste for direct action, then becomes tangled in a mistaken courtship. Zhang Xuan assumes that Luo Xuanqing's famous younger sister is Luo Ruoxin, while Luo Xuanqing is actually speaking about Luo Qiqi, whose personal name is Luo Yuxin. Despite anger, clan obligations, and the eventual collapse of the planned marriage, Luo Xuanqing continues to regard Zhang Xuan as both an old friend and the rival he most wants to surpass. Biography

King of Destruction and the Dongxu Gourd expedition

Luo Xuanqing first crosses paths with Zhang Xuan while destroying part of an 8-star Formation Master examination site. He is the Luo Clan head's sixth son and the only surviving elder brother immediately before its little princess, but his notoriety at the Sanctum comes from temperament rather than pedigree. He fights strong students openly, smacks obstructive Zhang Clan descendants into walls, and leaves damaged formations and buildings behind. His violence is not indiscriminate, however: when clearing the Elite Division, he deliberately controls his strength so that the students he hurls aside are not badly wounded. (Chapters 1,313 and 1,336)

Recognizing Zhang Xuan's unusual formation skill, Luo Xuanqing recruits him for an expedition to obtain the Dongxu Gourd from a hidden domain. He gathers specialists, evaluates the dangers of the Valley of Earth Spirits, and takes responsibility for coordinating a group whose members include rivals as well as friends. Within the domain, his instinct is often to meet obstacles directly, but he accepts Zhang Xuan's diagnoses and adapts when brute force fails. Their repeated escapes, shared injuries, and cooperation against beasts and unstable space turn an initially opportunistic alliance into genuine brotherhood. (Chapters 1,336–1,375)

The expedition also drives Luo Xuanqing through his Dimension Sundering Ordeal. His Half-Dimension Sundering foundation and Luo bloodline give him formidable spatial control, but the lightning tribulation is strong enough to threaten both him and the domain. Zhang Xuan identifies the instability, confronts the tribulation, and frightens it away, allowing Luo Xuanqing to break through and reinforce his cultivation. Luo Xuanqing emerges grateful and candid enough to share sensitive clan affairs with the man he now calls a brother, though he remains frustrated by how effortlessly Zhang Xuan overturns every limit he knows. A brother caught between Qiqi and the clan

Luo Xuanqing's deepest loyalty is to Luo Qiqi. He describes the Luo Clan's little princess as isolated by her talent and status, and much of his abrasive protectiveness grows from watching her shoulder obligations without ordinary companionship. Because Zhang Xuan mistakenly believes the little princess to be Luo Ruoxin, he listens to Luo Xuanqing's complaints about Qiqi's arranged marriage without realizing they are discussing different women. Luo Xuanqing, equally unaware of the misunderstanding, even asks his trusted friend to help kill the unknown man who has won his sister's heart. (Chapters 1,404–1,420)

When he learns that the lover and his new friend are both named Zhang Xuan, Luo Xuanqing feels deliberately deceived. His first reaction is characteristically explosive: he searches for Zhang Xuan, threatens to beat him, and pursues him toward the Zhang Clan until exhaustion forces him to stop. Yet Qiqi then asks him to protect the man she loves. The request places the Luo elders' order to kill the lover directly against his sister's happiness, and Luo Xuanqing chooses her. That decision turns his rage into a reluctant promise of protection before he has any certainty that Zhang Xuan can survive the clans arrayed against him. (Chapters 1,422–1,423)

After Zhang Xuan returns from the Zhang Clan, Luo Xuanqing delivers the beating he believes the deception deserves, using enough force to batter him without damaging his organs. Once the anger is spent, he warns Zhang Xuan not to hurt his sister and admits that, for all his faults, he is satisfied with his ability and character. He also warns him that the Luo Clan has methods capable of killing him. The conversation marks Luo Xuanqing's development from possessive gatekeeper to a brother who accepts Qiqi's choice, even though Zhang Xuan's mistaken understanding means the promised relationship can never resolve as either man expects. Clan disappointment and the Spatial Quintessence of Sealing

Luo Xuanqing returns home to prevent Qiqi from rushing into the Master Teacher Pavilion's confrontation with Zhang Xuan. He initially argues that Zhang Xuan must survive the ordeal on his own to prove himself worthy and reminds her that the marriage carries consequences beyond personal desire. When news arrives that Zhang Xuan is the missing young prodigy of the Zhang Clan, Luo Xuanqing is delighted: the man his sister loves and the fiancé imposed on her appear to be the same person, seemingly resolving the conflict that has divided his loyalties. (Chapter 1,558)

Before the engagement, Luo Xuanqing challenges Zhang Xuan to a full-strength spar because pride will not permit pity from a man who has overtaken him. Zhang Xuan accidentally triggers another breakthrough before they can fight, and Luo Xuanqing abandons the comparison rather than pretend the gap is small. He nevertheless uses his only leverage playfully, offering to arrange a brief meeting with the little princess after confirming that Zhang Xuan genuinely longs to see her. The later ceremony exposes the underlying mistake: Zhang Xuan rejects Luo Qiqi and leaves with Luo Ruoxin, humiliating the Luo Clan and devastating the sister Luo Xuanqing tried to protect. When the Hundred Schools of Philosophers subsequently challenges the weakened Luo Clan for its Celestial Amulet, Luo Xuanqing volunteers to defend its spatial heritage. He cannot match a Great Phrontistery student's higher technique and loses, showing the limits of bloodline talent without a sufficiently profound art. Zhang Xuan, disguised as the side-family cultivator Luo Tianya, saves the clan and imparts a simplified Heaven's Path Spatial Sealing Art to him. Luo Xuanqing insists on acknowledging Luo Tianya as teacher because he will not accept such a heritage without the obligations of lineage. The method lets him comprehend the Spatial Quintessence of Sealing within a month, turning a public defeat into the foundation for his greatest technical advance. (Chapters 1,607–1,617)

Across the Azure and into the Firmament

By the time Zhang Xuan returns from the Azure, Luo Xuanqing has given up trying to match his speed of advancement. His concern is again Qiqi: she has resonated with the Dimension Silencer, broken through the Master Teacher Continent's limits, and vanished toward a higher world. Luo Xuanqing reveals that she is the awakened spirit of the clan artifact born into his mother's womb after his five elder brothers sacrificed their blood essence to calm it. He asks Zhang Xuan to find and protect her, placing her safety above his unresolved resentment over the failed engagement. (Chapters 2,077–2,080)

Luo Xuanqing later reaches Semi-Divinity pinnacle in the Azure alongside Yu Fei-er and Hu Yaoyao. Knowing that remaining there means never seeing the people who have entered the Firmament, he argues that they must risk the dimension barrier rather than wait for death. Wu Chen brings them drops of Zhang Xuan's blood and Qiqi's old hairclip, proving that both are alive above. The three use the blood to attain Godhood and survive the passage, though even as a low-tier God Luo Xuanqing discovers that rabbits and ants on Grand Spirit Mountain can threaten his life. His latest appearance preserves both sides of his feelings for Zhang Xuan. Luo Xuanqing is grateful that Zhang Xuan opened a path by which he could become a God, impressed by his decisiveness, and eager to find him. He is also bitter that his old friend made Qiqi suffer and imagines that a new world offers one final chance to catch up and give him a beating. The fantasy ends when local students explain that Zhang Xuan has already risen from Celestial God to God King and then broadcasts his ascension as a God Monarch. Luo Xuanqing, still a low-tier God planning to earn money as a city guard, breaks down at the impossible gap but remains alive outside Twilight City with his companions. (Chapter 2,266)

Appearance and personality

Luo Xuanqing is a tall, dashing man whose age is described as the early thirties when he returns to his clan. His presence is forceful enough that weaker cultivators instinctively retreat, and his expressions move readily from arrogant confidence to open fury. In the Firmament, five days of survival on Grand Spirit Mountain leave him unkempt and exhausted, visually reversing the prestigious bearing he carried as a Sage Clan heir. He is hot-tempered, competitive, and famously destructive, but not mindlessly cruel. His attacks on weaker Sanctum students are controlled, his assault on Zhang Xuan causes external wounds rather than lethal internal damage, and he can abandon vengeance when it conflicts with Qiqi's welfare. He speaks bluntly, dislikes elaborate restraint, and often acts before reflecting; after the emotion passes, he is capable of recognizing duty, friendship, and consequences with surprising clarity. Luo Xuanqing's pride is repeatedly bruised by Zhang Xuan, yet it becomes a durable source of motivation rather than simple hatred. He wants honest contests, rejects opponents going easy on him, and continues setting Zhang Xuan as his target even after admitting that the gap is immense. His devotion to Qiqi is stronger still. He has protected and indulged her since childhood, reveals dangerous clan secrets to help find her, and crosses worlds partly for the chance to reunite with her. Abilities and cultivation

Luo bloodline and spatial control

The Luo Clan bloodline grants Luo Xuanqing an innate affinity with space. At Phantasmal Space realm, he can distort perception, conceal his presence from ordinary sight and Spiritual Perception, wrap another person in energy for high-speed travel, and fight while his silhouette shifts through unstable space. After reaching Dimension Sundering realm, his strikes compress or tear space, he can form Spatial Seals that impede movement, and his movement can outpace Zhang Xuan's contemporary Heaven's Path technique. Bloodline aptitude does not equal complete mastery. His early spatial control cannot overcome higher inheritances from the Hundred Schools of Philosophers, and Luo Ruoxin judges his grasp to be well short of Spatial Quintessence. Spatial movement also consumes real energy: his three-day pursuit of Zhang Xuan exhausts his zhenqi and causes him to cough blood. (Chapters 1,423 and 1,608–1,610)

Spatial Quintessence of Sealing

Luo Tianya's simplified Heaven's Path Spatial Sealing Art teaches Luo Xuanqing to stabilize and seal space at a much deeper level than the Luo Clan methods available to him. He internalizes the formula under personal guidance and is projected to comprehend the Spatial Quintessence of Sealing within one month, a result he later achieves. The art turns his natural affinity into a principled method and connects him to Luo Tianya as a half-student rather than a direct disciple. (Chapter 1,617)

The simplified art still demands study, clarification, and time. Luo Xuanqing needs hours merely to internalize it and a month to reach Quintessence, while Zhang Xuan's perfect version produces the same realization in seconds. His success is extraordinary within his clan but does not erase the difference between a simplified heritage and the complete Heaven's Path art. (Chapter 1,617)

Physical combat and judgment

Luo Xuanqing favors palms, punches, direct charges, and close combat enhanced by spatial force. His Saint 8-dan power and bloodline let him pressure ordinary Saint 8-dan pinnacle cultivators, collapse the space around a target, and redirect movement through spatial distortion. He can also read dangerous terrain, recognize formations already enclosing a group, identify powerful beasts, and organize specialists around their strengths. (Chapters 1,344–1,350 and 1,481)

His greatest limitation is emotional control. Fury can make him chase an opponent past exhaustion or attack before hearing an explanation, and pride draws him into contests against superior techniques. At his best, however, the same directness makes him decisive under danger and willing to adjust once evidence proves that his first approach is wrong. Godhood

In the Azure, Luo Xuanqing reaches Semi-Divinity realm pinnacle but cannot break the world's ceiling unaided. A drop of Zhang Xuan's God blood nourishes his zhenqi and soul, supplies the Aura of Divinity required for the breakthrough, and helps him survive the passage to the Firmament. His latest confirmed cultivation is low-tier God. (Chapters 2,222 and 2,235–2,236)

Godhood is only an entry rank in the Firmament. Luo Xuanqing cannot defeat ordinary wildlife on Grand Spirit Mountain and recognizes that advancing even to middle-tier God could take years without resources. His former spatial expertise and genius do not let him ignore the higher world's stronger space, creatures, or realm gaps. (Chapter 2,266)
