Biography

Shimuin and the Demon King of Fury

Maise boards the subjugation force as its sole officially assigned wizard because Shimuin hopes an Eighth Circle Archwizard can function within the Solgalta Sea's magical restrictions. After learning Sienna's identity and the expedition's secret plan, he eagerly accepts her oath spell and helps accelerate the fleet. In battle, he controls its magical defenses through an expanded version of Battleship, relays Sienna's orders, and channels the assembled wizards' mana into her decisive attack. He later joins Sienna's Archwizard council in Aroth and accompanies the Hauria campaign, where Battleship arms Raimira as a living aerial platform. Appearance and personality

Maise maintains the appearance of a middle-aged man through magic, although the narration says this is younger than his actual age. His natural age, hair, eyes, height, and build are not specified in the selected evidence. (Chapter 359)

He is polite, excitable around renowned magic, and openly devoted to Sienna Merdein. Maise calls himself a new Eighth Circle wizard, eagerly accepts personal magical instruction, and treats even an oath dagger in his heart as a treasured souvenir.
