Zhang Yunhu
Zhang Yunhu is North River Pass's defense general, an experienced Great Solar Godfiend who integrates newly arrived deputies into the garrison and leads them through a major demon assault.
Biography
General of North River Pass
Introduced by Marquis Southcloud, Zhang receives Meng Chuan and Liu Qiyue and quickly briefs the enlarged North River garrison. When dozens of third Firmament demon monarchs advance, he directs the team's response, engages at close range, and works within the combined domains that let the defenders hold the wall. Strategic redeployment later separates the veterans: Zhang leaves with Yang Xingwu under secret orders. He subsequently returns for a social visit to the pass, confirming that he survived the transfer, though his new posting and later fate are not given. (Chapters 137–144, 151, 154, 164, and 188)
Appearance and personality
Zhang is a thin man with a somewhat wrinkled, elderly-looking face. He is welcoming to new deputies, disciplined in battle, and relaxed enough afterward to joke about Meng's extraordinary mobility. The corpus does not disclose a private ambition beyond his defensive duty. (Chapters 137–144)
Abilities and cultivation
He is a top Great Solar Godfiend who has reached the Realm of Dao and can fight at close range. He carries a bundle of short spears into battle and is close to the threshold for becoming a Darkstar Godfiend.
