Xu Yingwu

Xu Yingwu is a Creation Supremacy and one of Two World Island's leaders. He represents the weakest of humanity's three supreme sects in high-level councils, pressing the other factions to preserve their dwindling Godfiend forces while continuing to coordinate against the demon invasion.

Biography

Forcing a change in humanity's defense

Xu summons Qin Wu and Bai Yaoyue after Two World Island loses sixty-one Godfiends in a year. He argues that continuing to defend every small and medium World Entrance will destroy an entire generation of Great Solar Godfiends, leaving humanity weaker when the demons finally escalate. His proposed retreat would expose rural populations to terrible danger, but it would concentrate defenders around major settlements and replace static defense with intelligence-led pursuit. When the other sects cannot offer a sustainable alternative, the three leaders agree to abandon those passes after a two-year preparation period. (Chapters 160–162)

Alliance strategy and the final war

Xu continues representing Two World Island as the invasion intensifies. After Wide Imperial Pass falls, he joins the other leaders in coordinating humanity's response. When Archean Mountain offers underground reconnaissance, he frankly admits that Two World Island can no longer contain its demon-monarch disaster and accepts either a future request or surrender of the Yin-Yang Mirror as payment. He later supports reforms prompted by Meng Chuan that reduce Regis Godfiend control over civilians while creating territory for the sect's growing number of Marquis Godfiends. During the war's decisive stages, Xu monitors demon sages through Two World Island's spying treasure, participates in councils with the other Creation Supremacies, and repeatedly treats Meng Chuan's survival as vital to humanity. He gathers at Luo Tang Pass for the final defense and remains outside Meng Chuan's array with the other Supremacies as the last confrontation begins. (Chapters 401–465 and 514–534)

Appearance and personality

Xu first appears as an illusory middle-aged man. He can be cold, sarcastic, and openly hostile when defending Two World Island's interests, especially in exchanges shaped by its blood feud with Black Sand Grotto-Heaven. He is also pragmatic enough to accept costly cooperation, acknowledge when his sect needs help, and subordinate factional rivalry to humanity's survival. (Chapters 160–161, 283, and 365–366)

Abilities and cultivation

Xu is a Creation Supremacy, allowing him to project an illusory figure into distant councils and judge battles at the highest human level. The corpus usually places him in strategic and observational roles rather than direct combat, so it does not name his Godfiend body, weapon, or signature technique. (Chapters 160, 283, and 403)

As a sect leader, he has access to Two World Island's intelligence network and treasures capable of observing distant locations. These tools let him monitor invasions and world-membrane attacks, but distance can still prevent him from intervening before a breach. (Chapters 401 and 459)
