Demon Sage North Sense

Demon Sage North Sense, usually called North Sense, is a covert demon commander whose specialties are avatars, embodiments, and information-gathering mystic techniques rather than direct offense. He spends more than a century in the human world, helps identify methods for finding Meng Chuan, and eventually flees before humanity's final purge. (Chapters 287–543)

Biography

Hidden strategist and eventual flight

North Sense first assists Demon Sage Nine Abyss in observing a major invasion and later recovers to the fifth Firmament. Under the identity Demon Monarch Mo Nan, he sends embodiments into danger while keeping his true body concealed. He proposes bringing Thousand Cricket into the human world because karmic blood curses offer the best remaining means of identifying the mysterious Godfiend killing underground demons. (Chapters 287–375)

He continues advising the hidden command, contributes to enemy analysis, and later joins an Imperial Lord envoy on an island to observe a five-region assault. Meng Chuan finds only an embodiment and puppet, making the trip tactically fruitless. Decades later, an eighth-level Essence Soul scan confirms that North Sense and Thousand Cricket have already left Archean Eon Realm. The corpus does not show where he goes or whether he lives afterward. (Chapters 396–543)

Appearance and personality

North Sense commonly appears as a black-robed man, but many appearances are avatars rather than the true body. He is analytical, cautious, and willing to exploit a personal grudge when proposing Thousand Cricket's deployment, while claiming the plan serves demon interests. His private history and true-body appearance remain unknown. (Chapters 287–375)

Abilities and cultivation

He is famous for varied mystic techniques and can create thousands of embodiments, including powerful avatars that operate under other identities. These bodies make him difficult to locate and expendable in risky encounters, but they do not provide exceptional head-on attack power; the Imperial Lords explicitly judge him unsuitable for breaking world membranes. Meng Chuan's world-scale scan defeats concealment only after North Sense has fled. (Chapters 300, 360–363, 465, 516, and 543)
