Oh Hye-seo

Oh Hye-seo is one of the seven office workers transported from Earth, the daughter of Oh Hyun-seok, and a survivor whose awakening draws her into Seo Hweol's designs. She becomes the Dragon Queen, Great Mountain's Holy Mother, and finally Agate Auspicious Heavenly King. Her story is shaped by manipulation and possessive love, but its conclusion depends on accepting shame, accountability, and a future that does not require controlling the person she hopes to meet again.

Oh Hye-seo, Seo Hye, and Ji Hwa are not interchangeable names. Seo Hye is a split portion of Hye-seo's soul who develops into an independent person before later reabsorption. Ji Hwa is a separate consciousness who eventually lives in Hye-seo's former Earth body after changing that flesh to resemble Ji Hwa's own mortal appearance.

Biography

The rain awakens and the Dragon Queen is made

Hye-seo arrives frightened and physically overwhelmed. A fever leaves her vacant-eyed while unnatural rain and clouds gather around Ascension Path, revealing an authority she neither understands nor controls. Seo Hweol recognizes the phenomenon, claims her as kin, and removes her from the Earth group. Her earliest choice is therefore constrained by illness, ignorance, and a being already capable of defining the terms of her survival. (Chapters 2–3)

Under Seo Hweol, she learns Sea Dragon, Blood Path, and history-based methods. Captivity becomes instruction, partnership, and manipulation so thoroughly interwoven that no single label explains their bond. Hye-seo gains the Dragon Queen's authority and learns to exploit the rules built around her, including turning activation conditions in Seo Hweol's Blood Body designs against his plans. Her growing agency is real, but it develops inside systems created by the person directing and surveilling her. (Chapters 180–220, 336–338)

Her love for Seo Hweol does not cancel that coercion, and his manipulation does not make every later feeling unreal. This ambiguity repeatedly puts her against Seo Eun-hyun, who opposes their schemes while recognizing that Hye-seo cannot be reduced to a puppet with no will. She becomes a calculating, history-revising combatant able to survive among forces far above the frightened office worker, yet emotional freedom remains harder to obtain than tactical autonomy. Seo Hye and the cost of reunification

A divided portion of Hye-seo's soul becomes the Candle Dragon Seo Hye. Separation alone does not make the offshoot a complete stranger, but experience and Seo Ran's care let Seo Hye develop a distinct personality, loyalties, and desire to live. She occupies Hye-seo's original body and treats that continued life as her own, making the conflict more than a dispute over property returned to a main consciousness. (Chapters 507–518)

Hye-seo continues Seo Hweol's operations as a spirit body and moves toward the reserve he prepared, while Seo Hye resists absorption with the Wind Path Blood Fan and the abilities she has cultivated independently. Their battle at Lofty Dragon Star opposes two related but morally distinct claims: Hye-seo wants survival, reunion, and completion; Seo Hye wants the developed self created by love and memory to be recognized rather than erased as a disposable fragment. The main body wins, reclaims her flesh, and reabsorbs Seo Hye, reaching Grand Perfection Integration with the split soul's development returned to her. That result ends Seo Hye's separate existence, but it does not retroactively turn her into a mere alias. Hye-seo inherits proof that a portion of herself could receive love and form convictions outside Seo Hweol's design. Victory therefore sharpens her loneliness and lays the emotional groundwork for recognizing that possession cannot secure love. (Chapters 531–537)

Holy Mother of a constructed Blood Sea

After Seo Hweol's death, Hye-seo clings to his lingering heart and enters Gwak Am's custody. Great Mountain grants training, a Holy Mother identity, and access to Corpse Mountain Blood Sea. Her motive is grief made absolute: she refuses a world in which Seo Hweol is gone and treats a reality centered on his continued presence as the only place where love and safety can still exist. (Chapters 562–574)

At Entering Nirvana, she overlays multiple Immortal Beast histories and borrows local authority capable of crushing Upper Immortals. Corpse Mountain Blood Sea gives enormous regeneration, attraction, and apparent Great Net weight, but the force belongs fundamentally to Great Mountain and does not make Hye-seo a genuine Great Net Immortal. Her confrontation with Seo becomes a battle over interpretation: she tries to preserve denial through overwhelming history, while he refuses to save her by simply erasing the grieving person inside it. Hye-seo later seals her own mind within Tainted Soul Filling the Heavens while bearing new life inside Great Mountain's design. Seo, Kim Yeon, and Glass Peacock work to dismantle the prison, although Glass Peacock's help remains predatory and unsafe. Recovery does not invalidate her love for Seo Hweol. It separates continued life from a constructed truth in which that love must consume every other relationship, possibility, and responsibility she possesses. (Chapters 660–677, 695–703)

Shame and Agate auspiciousness

During the Great Mountain battle, Hye-seo crosses spacetime and meets Azure Tiger Saint and Mountain-Destroying Demon Ape. The encounter makes paternal protection, grief, and imposed salvation visible from outside her own need. Salt Sea's shame forces her to look back across the harm she caused without retreating into the claim that love, manipulation, or suffering made every action inevitable. For the first time, repentance becomes a path forward rather than another threat of abandonment. (Chapter 776)

Hye-seo admits that she wants salvation and another meeting with Seo Hweol in which she can stand honestly. She apologizes, returns with Azure Tiger Saint, and completes the Heavenly King rank as her Shura-like resentment changes into auspiciousness and a peaceful smile. The Enders accept the sincerity of remorse without declaring her past harmless, allowing her to act among them while still doubting whether she deserves the name of comrade. (Chapters 776, 783)

As Agate Auspicious Heavenly King, Hye-seo turns the structures once used for denial outward. Artificial Computation Device Agate, Tainted Soul Filling the Heavens, and Truth Manipulation maximize possibilities until a Temporary Absolute Fragment can exist for a moment. The miracle opens a decisive path against the Future King but does not make her permanently Absolute. Its moral change matters as much as its scale: a power once used to preserve her private reality now serves the entire group. (Chapters 801–803)

Waiting without possession

After Mount Sumeru is repaired, Seo Hweol undergoes punishment through repeated lives as blue worms. Hye-seo is allowed proximity to that sentence but cannot cancel it by invoking love or shared suffering. She accepts work with the Underworld, creates an altar, and raises the worms while waiting for one life to become capable of independent reincarnation. Patience replaces the earlier demand that his remnant remain present in the form she wants. (Chapters 810–812)

When a blue-worm soul finally reincarnates as a sentient being, Hye-seo travels toward that life with a white fox under her arm. She hopes for reunion, but the journey does not grant ownership over the person who may emerge. Merit and fault remain separate, punishment remains real, and her love must coexist with the possibility that another life will not simply reproduce the Seo Hweol she remembers. (Chapter 812)

Her latest condition also preserves the boundary between consciousness and body. Hye-seo remains active in Mount Sumeru, while Ji Hwa independently lives on Earth in the body that once belonged to her. Ji Hwa changes every part of its flesh to resemble her own former mortal self; she is not Hye-seo reborn, possessed, or renamed. Hye-seo's ending is therefore accountability and waiting, not a hidden return through Ji Hwa's life. (Chapters 810–811, 814)

Appearance and personality

At awakening, Hye-seo is feverish and vacant-eyed beneath abnormal rain and clouds. Her later Immortal Beast manifestations are regal and monstrous: white wings and a Heavenly Pegasus phantom, Black Dragon hands, Dragon waves, and dark-red tears overlap within one combat silhouette. As a Heavenly King, her dharma form resembles a Shura until repentant enlightenment transforms its resentment into auspiciousness and a peaceful smile. (Chapters 2–3, 531–532, 574, 776)

Hye-seo is calculating, survival-driven, adaptable, and capable of cruelty. Her hostility is repeatedly rooted in fear of abandonment, but the narrative does not use that fear to erase responsibility. She learns systems quickly enough to turn them against their makers, yet emotional attachment makes her vulnerable to manipulation and self-created prisons. Her late development begins when shame lets her acknowledge harm without denying love, giving patience and accountability room beside the desire for reunion. (Chapters 215–220, 531–537, 574, 660–677, 776, 801–812)

Abilities and cultivation

Hye-seo practices a composite path involving innate weather phenomena, Sea Dragon and Blood Path training, Earth Tribe/Immortal Beast history, mortal Immortal-Family cultivation, borrowed Great Mountain authority, and Ender manifestation. These systems are not one ladder. Her history-based transformations, Corpse Mountain Blood Sea, and Temporary Absolute Fragment can display power beyond her personal formal realm without permanently advancing that realm. History revision and Immortal Beast synthesis

Her first authority appears involuntarily as rain and cloud. Training under Seo Hweol develops that affinity into a method of retracing and interpreting history, allowing her to manifest forms or authorities associated with Lofty Dragon, Glass Peacock, Azure Roc, White-Winged Heavenly Pegasus, Mountain-Destroying Demon Ape, Supreme Tiger, and Black Dragon. The resulting library provides weather alteration, flight, fire, defense, Dragon Wave attacks, and mental distortion. (Chapters 2–3, 180–220, 518, 531–532, 574)

Historical access is not identical to becoming the original Immortal Beast. Borrowed forms do not automatically provide their full power, understanding, or rank, and a stronger historical truth or counter-revision can resist her interpretation. Her later synthesis combines several authorities at Integration and Entering Nirvana, then becomes part of Agate Auspicious Heavenly King's broader law. The latest form retains history as a tool without letting any single predecessor wholly define her. (Chapters 531–532, 573–586, 776)

Corpse Mountain Blood Sea

Corpse Mountain Blood Sea originates with Great Mountain and reaches Hye-seo through her role as Holy Mother. It opens a history-rift filled with accumulated bodies, resentment, blood, and attraction force, providing a vast reserve for regeneration and coercion. Within favorable local conditions she can survive repeated destruction, drag targets toward Great Mountain, and strike with weight comparable to a Great Net Immortal. (Chapters 562–586)

That scale is borrowed and conditional. The authority reinforces Great Mountain's principle of gathering lives into a single mountain, entangles Hye-seo's grief with coercive unity, and never establishes a permanent personal Great Net realm. Seo counters it through repulsion and a rival interpretation of the mountain path. After her Heavenly King awakening, Blood Sea is no longer the center of her identity, although its teachings, resentment, and shame remain inside the history she carries. Tainted Soul Filling the Heavens and Truth Manipulation

Tainted Soul Filling the Heavens develops through Seo Hweol's configurations and Hye-seo's own desire to protect an inner reality. It layers memory, probability, desire, and constructed truth until the world begins recognizing a selected outcome. The method can hide a mind inside a self-confirming story, undo or revise apparent expenditure, and reshape battlefield conclusions. Its inward form is dangerous precisely because successful operation can make delusion harder to distinguish from rescue. (Chapters 660–677)

The seal can be challenged by coordinated work on mind, history, and relationships, as shown when Seo, Kim Yeon, and Glass Peacock reach Hye-seo. At Heavenly King rank, Artificial Computation Device Agate manages effectively infinite variables and links Truth Manipulation with Auspicious Soul Filling the Heavens and the Canvas of Myriad Forms and Connections. This produces a Temporary Absolute Fragment only for a moment; it is a maximized possibility, not permanent Absolute status or freedom from cost. (Chapters 660–677, 801–803)

Agate Auspicious Heavenly King

Her Heavenly King manifestation completes through repentant enlightenment and apology. The Shura-like dharma form changes as resentment gives way to auspiciousness, and her law gathers history, truth, probability, and the ability to move through possibilities. This authority is not a declaration that guilt has vanished. Its defining development is that Hye-seo can act for others while keeping shame and love in view instead of manipulating reality until only her desired answer remains. (Chapters 776, 783, 801–803)

At the latest demonstrated battle state, Agate supports the Enders against the Future King and helps create the Temporary Absolute Fragment. After the conflict, Hye-seo's principal work is not combat: she serves with the Underworld and tends the punished blue-worm lives linked to Seo Hweol. Her law remains available, but her latest use of power is constrained by accountability and patience rather than the demand to restore a lost relationship immediately. (Chapters 801–812)

• Seo Hweol: Captor, teacher, collaborator, husband, and beloved. Their relationship contains manipulation and mutual harm as well as genuine attachment. Hye-seo's late hope for reunion accepts that punishment and a future reincarnation cannot be overridden for her comfort. (Chapters 180–220, 336–338, 507–574, 776, 810–812)
• Seo Hye: Split soul and independent offshoot, never merely an alias. Seo Hye's separate memories, relationships, and desire to live make reabsorption a death of an autonomous self as well as restoration of Hye-seo's divided soul. (Chapters 507–537)
• Oh Hyun-seok: Father whose grief and refusal to abandon her survive both her crimes and self-destructive choices. His later rejection of a possessive divine name mirrors Hye-seo's need to love without owning another person's future. (Chapters 637, 719–731, 783–804)

• Wind Path Blood Fan: Seo Hye uses the fan while occupying Hye-seo's original body and resisting reabsorption. It belongs to the split-self conflict and should not be treated as an ordinary possession of Hye-seo's main personality. (Chapter 531)
• Artificial Computation Device Agate: A predecessor's computational legacy incorporated into Hye-seo's Heavenly King title. It controls the variables required for Truth Manipulation to produce the Temporary Absolute Fragment. (Chapters 801–803)
