Kalle
Kalle is an ancient prophet who once opposed Shar and later survives through fragments of his conscient, reincarnations, and preserved eyes. His residual soul is revived for the Shadow World's final struggle but is destroyed again by Shar.
Biography
Fragments of an ancient prophet
Kalle was one of the Shadow World's ancient native powers and opposed Shar when she displaced its former rulers. His defeat does not erase him completely: a portion of his conscient reincarnates as the blind prophet Ari, while his original eyes remain outside that reincarnation. The division explains both Ari's blindness and the extraordinary predictions recorded in the Book of Salvation. (Chapters 1082, 1091, and 1097)
The empire spends generations acquiring Kalle's shriveled eyes and the mermaid protector's scales. Emperor Aragon uses them first to shield private communication from Shar and later transfers their array into his own body as part of the Tree of Life plan. Kalle thus continues shaping resistance through prophecy and bodily remnants before any part of him is restored as an acting person. (Chapters 1091 and 1099)
Failed resurrection
Aragon's death and the Tree of Life ritual release Kalle and the mermaid protector Kou as illusory restored figures. Kalle regards his former defeat as a mistake he is responsible for correcting, while the Snake Dowager reinforces both residual souls with her bloodline power. Their native origin gives them resistance to the World Origin Force, but neither remnant has recovered its prime strength. (Chapters 1104–1105)
Kalle studies Shar's use of the Tree of Life and warns that she is drawing in origin force to delay them until the project matures. When he sees the next outcome and tries to voice it, Shar invokes the world's rejection of the dead and attacks him directly. Her law power melts his temporary body and scatters his will, sending his truesoul into the astral plane for a rebirth so distant that it cannot affect the present struggle. (Chapter 1105)
Appearance and personality
Kalle's revived form is an elderly man whose bearing conveys wisdom. He is resolute about correcting his earlier failure and remains attentive enough to foresee Shar's use of the Tree of Life, though he cannot finish his final warning. (Chapters 1104–1105)
Magic, bloodline, and abilities
Kalle is a high-level native law being whose distinctive power is prophecy. The surviving text depicts only fragments and a ritual-supported remnant, so it does not establish the full combat repertoire of his prime.
Prophetic sight
Kalle's prophetic faculty survives both in Ari's reincarnated conscient and in his removed eyes. Ari's portion produces the Book of Salvation's exceptionally powerful predictions, while the eyes allow Aragon's array to communicate without Shar detecting it. After revival, Kalle watches changes in origin force and foresees Shar's completion of the Tree of Life; the prediction is not instantaneous protection, because Shar can interrupt and kill him before he finishes warning his allies. (Chapters 1091, 1097, and 1105)
The corpus does not explain whether prophecy consumes energy, how far into the future it reaches, or how Kalle originally removed or preserved his eyes. It demonstrates accurate perception and anti-surveillance utility, but not omniscience: the earlier resistance failed, and the restored Kalle again sees danger too late to prevent his own destruction. (Chapters 1082–1105)
Native law power and residual revival
As a native ruler of the Shadow World, Kalle possesses an inherent resistance to that world's origin force. His restored residue can participate in a battle among high-level law beings once the Snake Dowager reinforces it, but he is far weaker than his original self and cannot withstand Shar at the temporary absolute limit of rank 8. That reinforcement is borrowed power, not evidence that Kalle independently returned to his ancient level. (Chapters 1104–1105)
Kalle's identity persists through separate media: a reincarnated conscient, preserved eyes, a residual soul revived by the Tree of Life, and finally a truesoul cast into the astral plane. These are demonstrated forms of survival or transmission rather than freely activated combat techniques. The last destruction removes him from the conflict and leaves only the possibility of an extremely remote rebirth. (Chapters 1091–1105)
