Biography

The origin behind the bloodline

The Snake Dowager is first known through ancient serpent remains and the inherited bloodlines of Warlocks. Giant Kemoyin Serpents and many related lines descend from her origin, so the blood that accelerates their advancement also carries a spiritual route back to its progenitor. Descendants experience the gift as aptitude and transformation long before they understand that it fixes their ceiling and preserves her claim. (Chapters 430 and 618)

When Leylin reaches Rank 5, the Dowager notices a descendant approaching the limits of the inherited system. He is unusually dangerous because his methods aim not merely to maximize Kemoyin power but to alter its source. She initially treats him as a child to reclaim, reflecting an authority under which individual Warlocks are extensions of the lineage rather than independent origins. (Chapters 618 and 665–666)

The Allsnake Curse

The Dowager reaches Leylin through Dreamscape, where distance and ordinary defenses do not prevent contact with his bloodline. She calls him to return as one of her children and offers belonging on the condition of submission. Leylin refuses because accepting her origin would permanently subordinate his future path. (Chapters 665–666)

She answers with the Allsnake Curse, activating an inherited restraint through the blood itself. The curse weakens a rebellious serpent Warlock, obstructs advancement, and drives the target toward death rather than allowing a useful descendant to escape control. Its delivery demonstrates why ordinary removal is insufficient: the hostile route is part of the same lineage that defines the victim's body and power. (Chapters 665–666)

The curse changes Leylin's bottleneck into a direct war with his progenitor. He cannot simply cultivate harder inside Kemoyin's Pupil, because every improvement still belongs to a source capable of suppressing it. The Dowager's greatest control mechanism therefore also motivates the plan that will strip her authority away. (Chapters 665–745)

Defeat in Purgatory

In Purgatory World, the Dowager is a native Rank 8 sovereign worshipped in a holy city and expressed through innumerable serpent descendants. Her laws encompass snakes, bloodline propagation, reproduction, and shadow, allowing clones and inherited authority to act across the world. Beelzebub's invasion forces those systems into open defense as gluttonous beasts consume her territory and destroy repeated manifestations. (Chapters 745–755)

The Dowager confronts Beelzebub in a vast coiled aggregation of snakes. Their law powers—shadow and gluttony—can destroy cities and armies, yet neither sovereign controls the full conditions. Leylin awakens the Purgatory Will, turning the native world against disruptive great beings and freezing their subordinate forces. (Chapters 755–757)

Within that convergence, Leylin strikes the Dowager and tears away origin blood. He uses it to sever the Giant Kemoyin line from her control and redirect its source into an independent lineage. The Dowager survives but is badly injured and forced to withdraw. She loses absolute authority over Leylin rather than losing every serpent law or descendant in existence. (Chapters 757–758)

Return to Shadow World

Much later, the Dowager approaches Leylin as a Rank 8 Magus seeking negotiation rather than parental submission. Shadow World was her homeland before Shar displaced and banished her, and she lacks a safe route to reclaim it alone. The former descendant now has power and knowledge she needs, while Leylin values her native information and law authority. (Chapters 1065–1066)

They establish a thousand-year agreement and form a coalition with the Trial's Eye and other powers. The contract does not erase the Allsnake Curse or Purgatory defeat; it defines a period in which mutual interests outweigh unresolved hostility. The Dowager's shift from command to negotiated alliance is a direct consequence of losing bloodline ownership over Leylin. (Chapters 1065–1066)

During the final war she remains active beside Leylin and his A.I. Chip clone, contributing serpent and bloodline authority to a calamity formation capable of threatening gods. Her latest position is that of a surviving Rank 8 ally under explicit terms, not a subordinate reconciled to a child or a restored ruler with uncontested control of Shadow World. (Chapter 1198)

Appearance and personality

The Dowager can appear as an alluring woman dressed in black with a veil, while her hair and aura evoke innumerable serpents. Her deeper manifestations include a vast coiled sphere or aggregation of snake heads, a body suited to representing a law spread through whole species rather than one humanoid shell. (Chapters 665–666 and 745–758)

She is regal, possessive, and accustomed to treating bloodline descendants as extensions of herself. Defeat makes her more cautious and diplomatic, not humble. Her later cooperation with Leylin is framed by a fixed-term agreement between great powers, preserving both memory of conflict and willingness to use an enemy's strength when goals align. (Chapters 757–758 and 1065–1066)

Magic, bloodline, and abilities

Rank 8 serpent and bloodline laws

The Dowager is a Rank 8 law being whose authority covers serpent-kind, inherited bloodlines, propagation, and reproduction. Descendant lines carry a portion of her origin, giving them power and a maximum rank corresponding to their source. She can sense exceptional descendants and express influence through the blood across great distances. (Chapters 430, 618, and 665–666)

This authority is vast but not identical to ownership of every snake forever. Leylin seizes origin blood and creates an independent source, removing himself and redirected Kemoyin descendants from her automatic control. She remains a Rank 8 sovereign afterward, demonstrating that the loss damages a domain and particular lineage without annihilating her total law. (Chapters 757–758 and 1065–1066)

Dreamscape contact and the Allsnake Curse

The Dowager uses Dreamscape to reach a descendant through inherited resonance. The environment bypasses ordinary geographical separation and lets her present command as a progenitor's call. When refused, she activates the Allsnake Curse through the target's own bloodline. (Chapters 665–666)

The curse weakens, obstructs, and eventually kills a rebel, making the gift of serpent blood an enforcement channel. Because origin and victim are connected, ordinary resistance cannot simply treat it as an external poison. Its decisive counter is source-level separation: Leylin acquires origin blood, uses world support and his own ritual, and rebuilds the lineage around himself. (Chapters 665–758)

Shadow authority, clones, and manifestations

Shadow is one of the Dowager's major law expressions. She can engulf armies, confront gluttony across a city, and produce clones or serpent manifestations to act without always exposing her deepest body. Her coiled-snake form combines many heads and bloodline expressions into a Rank 8 combat presence. (Chapters 745–758)

Clones distribute action but can be destroyed, as Beelzebub's invading forces demonstrate. At full confrontation, shadow meets gluttony as a peer rather than automatically suppressing it. Both are further constrained when the awakened Purgatory Will treats their battle as a threat to the world. (Chapters 750–757)

Origin blood and formation support

The Dowager's origin blood is a physical and spiritual concentration of her bloodline law. Leylin tears away a portion and uses it as the necessary material for source-level independence. The loss shows that law embodied in origin material can be stolen or redirected under exceptional conditions. (Chapters 757–758)

In the final war, her authority can be integrated into a larger bloodline calamity formation with Leylin, the A.I. Chip clone, and allied powers. This lets serpent law contribute to attacks against gods beyond what a lone descendant could produce. The formation is cooperative and prepared; participation does not mean the Dowager independently masters Leylin's Original Sin or the A.I. Chip's functions. (Chapter 1198)
