Psyker
Psyker is the seven-eyed Beyond Grade A Psychic who protects the Star Pupil Civilization. His use of a parasitic psychic toxin draws him into direct conflict with Han Xiao, and the loss of the Evolution Cube leaves his civilization exposed to both enemies and the political consequences of his rivalry. Psyker consequently shifts from covert aggression to an extremely low profile, but continues placing his species' security ahead of solidarity with other Beyond Grade As.
Biography
The Evolution Cube and Crimson Dynasty
Psyker first acts through Psychic Parasitic Toxin, a remote attack hidden inside a weapon carried by Bloodshed Land. The toxin penetrates Han's physical defenses and inflicts mental damage, hallucination, sensory disruption, and a parasitic consciousness effect. His intervention aligns him with Heber against Black Star and makes him an enemy before the two meet directly. What begins as a controlled psychic strike escalates into a struggle over the Evolution Cube and the safety of the Star Pupil Civilization. (Chapters 726 and 770)
Psyker loses the Evolution Cube and is blamed by allied Arcane Church figures whose recovery operation becomes necessary because of that failure. He participates through projections and remains capable enough to have killed two EsGod doppelgangers alone, but the conflict gives him enemies across the Shattered Star Ring. The loss is not merely personal humiliation: the Cube had strategic value for his civilization, and Black Star's possession permanently shifts regional influence away from Psyker. (Chapters 842 and 893)
The Flickering World
Psyker removes his Soul Connection from a Primal Esper Ability arrangement, vacating a quota rather than remaining bound to a contest he can no longer control. By then four Beyond Grade As have him in their sights, so he retreats into a low-profile life and takes satisfaction whenever one of Han's other enemies becomes stronger. This is defensive resentment rather than a renewed campaign; survival and protection of the Star Pupils matter more than recovering lost prestige through another direct confrontation. (Chapters 901 and 963)
Hila's advancement causes Psyker's seven eyes to flare with anger because another Black Star ally further worsens his position. When later operations bring him near Han, the threat of Black Star is enough to drive him away rather than test the new balance personally. His caution prevents another catastrophic loss, but it also reduces his public relevance and confirms that Black Star has become the dominant force in their shared Star Field. (Chapters 1002 and 1034)
Intelligent Plague and the Association
Psyker's abilities remain useful to Han even while Psyker himself stays distant. The Wall of Mind Character Summon Card reduces incoming psychic damage and reflects part of it, punishing Psychics who attack without restraint. Han preserves remaining uses because the defensive effect is rare and valuable. The indirect legacy is ironic: techniques belonging to a hostile Psychic repeatedly protect the person who displaced him. (Chapters 1053 and 1061)
Psyker's political presence continues fading. Han explicitly notices how little he appears and considers visiting the Star Pupil Civilization using his new universal authority. For Psyker, obscurity is a deliberate shield: public activity could attract Han, Ames, EsGod's remnants, or church politics back toward a civilization whose survival depends disproportionately on one Beyond Grade A protector. (Chapter 1136)
Sanctum Revival and the Super Crisis
Psyker joins the Beyond Grade A collective but abstains when Han is elected president, alongside Heber, Manison, and a small minority. The choice preserves opposition without challenging the decisive result. When the universal civilizations sanction the association, Psyker faces a sharper conflict than an independent hegemon: the Star Pupil Civilization is vulnerable to political and economic coercion, and his own organization is classified as an unreliable partner. (Chapters 1251 and 1278)
He chooses his civilization. The Star Pupil representative abstains from enforcing sanctions rather than openly defying the universal civilizations, while Psyker supervises preparations from the mother planet. The compromise lacks Bennett's dramatic withdrawal but reflects different responsibilities: Psyker cannot gamble an entire Star Cluster civilization solely to prove personal loyalty to a Super association, especially after earlier conflicts already made his people a target. (Chapter 1280)
As tensions continue, Psyker asks Ames whether Han has shared private information, seeking certainty from someone close to Black Star. The question shows that fear has replaced confidence in his strategic picture. He remains a Beyond Grade A with formidable psychic power, but information about Han's intentions now matters more to his decisions than pride. (Chapter 1313)
The World Tree War
During mobilization, other Beyond Grade As use Psyker as a convenient benchmark for an ordinary, lower-tier member of their class, estimating an enemy Psychic at roughly 1.6 times his power. The joke diminishes his prestige but also confirms a clear role: Psyker is still a recognized civilization protector whose abilities provide useful psychic combat standards, and he participates in the common defense rather than allowing rivalry with Han to override survival. (Chapter 1333)
After victory, Han offers the Star Pupil Civilization a place in the new Supers Holy Land, explicitly promising freedom from suppression. Psyker distrusts the offer because his fear of Black Star has lasted too long to vanish with one assurance. The scene leaves relocation unresolved, but it changes the available future: the rival who once threatened his civilization now controls a refuge capable of protecting it from the same universal powers that constrained Psyker during the Super crisis. (Chapter 1445)
Appearance and personality
Psyker is a member of the Star Pupil race and has seven eyes. When angry, all seven pupils visibly react, and reflected city lights can appear across them simultaneously. The supplied evidence does not establish reliable details for his height, clothing, hair, or other physical features, so his multi-eyed face is the only canonical appearance trait described here. (Chapters 1002 and 1280)
He is proud, resentful, cautious, secretive, and intensely protective of his civilization. Psyker is willing to use covert psychic harm and alliances when he expects control, but repeated losses teach him to avoid direct escalation. His low profile can resemble cowardice from Han's perspective, yet it is also a rational response by a leader whose personal enemies can endanger an entire species. (Chapters 726, 842, 963, 1002–1034, 1278–1280, and 1445)
Abilities and class
Psyker is a Beyond Grade A Psychic whose powers attack, defend, and manipulate consciousness. His combat strength is not at the pinnacle of the class, but he can destroy EsGod doppelgangers and threaten other Beyond Grade As with effects that bypass ordinary armor. Stronger Psychics and specialized mental defenses can overpower or reflect his techniques, making matchup and preparation especially important. (Chapters 726, 893, 1053, and 1333)
Psychic Parasitic Toxin
Psychic Parasitic Toxin can be carried remotely and homes onto a selected target across physical and Void movement. It ignores conventional shields because it acts on the mind, inflicting direct mental damage along with schizophrenia, hallucination, sensory misdirection, a poisoned soul, and a parasitic mental presence. Feidin can diagnose the resulting contamination, while sufficient strength or specialized treatment is needed to remove it. (Chapters 726–727)
Wall of Mind
Wall of Mind is a psychic defense that reduces incoming mental damage and reflects a portion back at the attacker. Han uses its Character Summon Card against multiple Psychics, causing those who attack at full strength to suffer their own output. The technique is defensive rather than absolute immunity; its value comes from changing the cost of psychic aggression and protecting against otherwise difficult-to-block attacks. (Chapters 1053 and 1061)
Psychic perception and combat
Psyker can project consciousness, form Soul Connections, launch large-scale psychic attacks, and contest psychic entities or doppelgangers. His seven-eyed physiology accompanies rather than causes these powers. The corpus does not fully enumerate his complete skill set, and comparisons during the World Tree war place him below elite enemy Psychics, so his capabilities should not be treated as the upper limit of the class. (Chapters 842, 893, 901, and 1333)
Relationships
- Han Xiao: Psyker attacks Han with Psychic Parasitic Toxin, fights him over the Evolution Cube, and spends later decades avoiding his retaliation. Han retains useful copies of Psyker's defensive technique and eventually offers the Star Pupil Civilization refuge, which Psyker distrusts. (Chapters 726–770, 963–1034, 1053, and 1445)
- Heber: Heber and Psyker align against Han during the Evolution Cube conflict and later share the status of regional rivals eclipsed by Black Star. Both abstain from endorsing Han's association presidency. (Chapters 770, 842, and 1251)
- Ames: Ames is one of the powerful figures whose alliance with Han makes Psyker's position dangerous. He later asks her for information about Han, relying on her closeness to the person he fears. (Chapters 770 and 1313)
- EsGod: Psyker has killed two EsGod doppelgangers, demonstrating that his low later profile does not imply weak combat ability. The wider Evolution Cube struggle places both figures around the same strategic treasure without making them stable allies. (Chapters 842 and 893)
- Hila: Hila's advancement enrages Psyker because it gives Han another Beyond Grade A ally and further reduces Psyker's freedom of action in the Shattered Star Ring. They later serve the same World Tree defense despite that history. (Chapters 1002 and 1333)
Items
- No individually tracked signature item: Psyker was closely involved with the Evolution Cube and other strategic resources, but the approved inventory assigns him no personal item link. The Cube is no longer in his custody during the article's main period.
