Zoel

Zoel is the Crimson Dynasty's senior envoy in the Shattered Star Ring. The early translation calls his government the Crimson Empire, while later chapters consistently use Crimson Dynasty; these names refer to the same civilization, not to separate affiliations. Zoel recruits powerful local allies, negotiates Han Xiao's entry into the dynasty, and controls both diplomatic concessions and the dynasty forces stationed in the region.

Biography

Mutation Disaster and the Secret War

Zoel is introduced by Heber at the Tyrant's party as a discreet “Crimson Empire” envoy seeking support for turning a newly discovered Star Cluster into the bridgehead of a dynasty-controlled Star Field. Calm before three Beyond Grade As, he outlines the strategic rewards, accepts Austin's neutrality, and leaves Ames time to consider rather than trying to compel her. He had already persuaded Heber after considerable effort, and he spends the public party meeting further organization and civilization representatives in private. These scenes establish his method: patient recruitment backed by the resources of a Universal Civilization, with persuasion aimed at reducing support for the Federation of Light as much as gaining formal partners. The Evolution Cube and Crimson Dynasty

More than ten years later, Zoel heads the dynasty embassy on Klent's mother planet and holds authority over its Shattered Star Ring garrison. He refuses Klent's request to eliminate the newly advanced Black Star, judges Han more valuable as an ally, negotiates dynasty resources and knowledge in exchange for Evolution Cube access, and secures approval for the alliance. Zoel then hides the agreement until Han's duel with Heber, deploys dynasty forces against Psyker's Arcane Church support, and pressures Klent to abandon the territorial proposal sustaining the secret war. He later coordinates the allies' Flickering World preparations and Han's access to dynasty transport and elites. During the Planet Lighthouse aftermath, Zoel mobilizes regional forces, accepts Ames's help, and agrees to protect her from the most dangerous assignment at Han's request. Chapter 860 is his last direct scene; the emissary in Chapter 869 is a subordinate who says he will report success to Zoel, confirming continued office activity without placing Zoel physically in that scene. Appearance and personality

Zoel is a roughly 2.5-meter-tall humanoid with light-red skin, short hair, and features described as broadly attractive by Spacehuman standards. He wears a complex, luxurious crimson robe. Gentle and composed in presentation, he is an astute and unsentimental diplomat: he flatters valuable allies, allows face-saving compromises, and reminds lesser partners that dynasty policy—not their expectations—governs his decisions. Abilities and class

No Super class or personal combat ability is stated for Zoel. His power is institutional. As the dynasty's highest-ranking envoy in the Shattered Star Ring, he can mobilize the civilization's secret regional army, negotiate with Beyond Grade As and Star Cluster civilizations, transmit approved class knowledge, coordinate resource deliveries, and shape exploration assignments.
