Alumera Lagos

Alumera Lagos is Darryl's son and a leading member of Alumera's Home Faction. After his father's assassination, grief, ambition, and certainty that Black Phantom is responsible drive him into a fatal confrontation with Han Xiao. He is unrelated to Modo Lagos, a later expedition-fleet inspector.

Biography

The Alumera succession crisis

Lagos monitors Han's visit to Alumera for Darryl and resents the outsider's freedom of action. When Darryl is murdered, Lagos claims leadership of the Home Faction, blames Han despite the lack of convincing evidence, and rejects warnings from other faction leaders. He hires three powerful combatants to force Han's surrender, expecting family authority and numbers to protect him. Han defeats the hired fighters and cuts Lagos's throat when he tries to retreat behind his political position. His corpse remains at the scene, and Todd immediately disavows the attack and takes control of the faction. (Chapters 205–210)

Appearance and personality

The corpus gives Lagos no stable physical description. He is proud, suspicious, emotional, and vindictive. His desire to inherit Darryl's position combines with genuine grief, making him cling to an accusation that gives both feelings a single target; once his hired force collapses, confidence turns into terror. (Chapters 205–209)

Abilities and class

No supernatural class or personal combat ability is established. Lagos relies on faction authority, armed subordinates, and hired Supers rather than personally matching Han in combat. (Chapters 206–209)
