Patty

Patty is a purple-haired foxkin mage who fights beside Barry and Iris during the campaign against Eridani’s demons. Her ice, earth, healing, barrier, and unusually versatile space magic make her the party’s principal magical support. Though initially deferential to Barry’s ideals, she repeatedly questions his indiscriminate mercy, later helps restructure a pirate stronghold under Cornelia, and becomes both an intimate partner of Kai LuForia and an expectant mother of one of his children.

Biography

The hero’s skeptical support mage

Patty first appears fighting demons beside Barry and Iris in a village under attack. She combines offensive ice magic with battlefield healing, but her most revealing choice comes after the victory: she asks Barry whether sparing the pirates who aided the demons is truly right. Patty likes his desire to redeem people, yet she and Iris privately fear that unrepentant captives will exploit that mercy. Her loyalty therefore begins as committed but not unquestioning support for the hero. (Chapter 260)

That concern follows Patty into more dangerous fieldwork. When a demon lord and its demonic turtle trap the party, she protects Barry with an earth spell, joins Iris against the beast, and continues fighting until both women are badly injured. Kai’s group rescues them, but Patty’s gratitude turns to distrust when Kai forces Barry through an illusion in which Patty and Iris are murdered. She helps Barry recover while silently judging Kai’s deliberate psychological cruelty. (Chapters 263–267)

Kai’s training and a compromised transformation

During Kai’s combat evaluation, Patty demonstrates both composure and initiative: rather than pursue an attack while Iris is exposed, she reshapes the ground to pull her friend out of danger. She then seals the space around Kai, manifests restraining chains and command runes, and enables Iris and Barry to concentrate their attacks within the enclosure. Kai defeats the trio, then hypnotizes all three before presenting intercourse with him as a method of empowering the women and transferring power onward to Barry. (Chapters 268–269)

Under that influence, Patty agrees to the proposed “training,” has sex with Kai for the first time, and becomes pregnant. The encounter immediately raises her mana to Tier 9, after which she and Iris place their hands on Barry’s back and permanently transfer part of Kai’s hero energy into him. The narrative subsequently presents Patty as eager to continue, but that intimacy begins only after Kai’s explicit hypnosis, making the apparent change in her desires inseparable from his mental interference. (Chapters 269–273)

Testing new power in the outpost and Spirit Realm

Patty quickly applies the new power rather than treating it as a numerical increase alone. In the demon outpost, the character mistakenly called “Parry” in the text is Patty: she traps demons in a sealed space and collapses it to crush them, then confines the base’s surviving collaborators for judgment. In the Spirit Realm she continues to fight beside Iris, heal Barry through demonic contamination, and explore the connection between foxkin and spirits, although she is explicitly a foxkin rather than a spirit herself. (Chapters 274–275, 281, 286, 292)

Choosing consequences over Barry’s mercy

The growing conflict over Barry’s code eventually forces Patty to state her own position. When Barry objects to Kai’s conduct, she sides with Kai and explains that some spared offenders returned to villages and killed again. Her argument is not that Kai is heroic; it is that repeated harm has made Barry’s refusal to kill dangerous. Patty keeps helping Barry grow through later power transfers, but she no longer treats his title as sufficient reason to suppress her judgment. (Chapters 299–306)

That independence carries into the Sweatii Pirates conflict. Patty is frightened by the organization’s reputation, yet accepts Kai’s plan to place the surviving pirates under Cornelia and helps shield the group during the base’s destruction. She also participates in the purge of pirates Kai has marked for death; Chapter 319’s “Parry” is another typographical reference to Patty, whose ferocity surprises observers because she is usually considered soft-hearted. Her actions show that her compassion has narrowed rather than vanished: she still protects allies, but no longer extends mercy to enemies she judges irredeemable. (Chapters 311–312, 318–319)

The end of the hero campaign

When Aquaphina confirms that Barry’s mercy has failed her expectations, Patty and Iris try to steady him through the shock of killing a human for the first time, though Kai prevents them from interrupting his reaction. After Kai kills the Demon King, Patty is disappointed that their journey together is ending. Kai gives her, Iris, and Cornelia access keys to his pocket dimension before returning them to the pirate base, leaving Patty with a new organization to build rather than a hero’s campaign to follow. (Chapters 321–322, 328–330)

Relief work and life at the pirate fort

By Kai’s later return to Eridani, Patty and Iris have helped turn the pirate fort into an orderly, successful business. Their work is not limited to profit: Patty explains that they send money and other aid throughout the kingdom to people harmed by the demon attacks. The relief program leaves the pregnant women and their assistants badly overworked, so Kai arranges additional staff and persuades them to rest. Patty’s latest shown role is consequently administrative and humanitarian, preserving her support-oriented instincts on a larger scale. (Chapters 485–486)

Patty’s relationship with Kai is openly affectionate by this point. She says that she loves his touch, accepts his invitation to spend a day with Iris as a family outing, and spends the night resting between them. She does not regard his departure the next morning as abandonment because their connected homes and pocket-dimension access make future visits routine, giving her a stable personal life alongside the demanding reconstruction work. (Chapters 485–486)

Appearance and personality

Patty is a foxkin woman with purple hair and visible animal ears; no eye color, exact height, or detailed regular outfit is established. She carries a staff in her first battle and is physically expressive enough that her ears droop when she is disappointed. Her resemblance to foxlike spirits is noticed in the Spirit Realm, but the story explicitly distinguishes her mortal foxkin ancestry from beings who retain spirit energy and full transformations. (Chapters 260, 279, 281, 329)

Her temperament mixes kindness with pragmatic caution. Patty heals allies and former combatants, risks herself beside Iris, and later exhausts herself organizing relief for demon-war victims. At the same time, she questions Barry’s repeated leniency before it fails, calls for permanent consequences once freed offenders kill again, and can be lethal when fighting demons or condemned pirates. Her softness is therefore protective rather than passive: it governs whom she cares for, not whether she can act decisively. (Chapters 260, 263, 301, 319, 485)

Powers and abilities

Patty is a multi-element mage whose strongest demonstrated specialties are support magic and spatial control. Her initial ceiling is not quantified, but after Kai’s intervention she can release Tier-9 mana and later sustain barriers alongside much stronger allies. The corpus shows the effects of her spells without naming a formal class, incantation system, or mana cost, so their underlying method and casting limits remain unspecified. (Chapters 260, 269, 273, 306, 318)

Elemental offense, healing, and battlefield control

Patty channels ice through her staff strongly enough to decapitate a demon with a beam. She also shapes earth into a fist, moves sections of ground to rescue Iris, and attacks in concert with her party rather than relying on one element. Her healing closes ordinary battlefield injuries, but demonic energy interferes with it: Barry’s contaminated wound is life-threatening and heals too slowly until Kai takes over, establishing a clear limitation against supernatural corruption. (Chapters 260, 263, 268, 292)

Space sealing and barriers

Patty can seal a volume of space, bind a target with manifested chains and runes, selectively admit an ally, and collapse an enclosure around captured enemies. She can also confine groups without immediately killing them. The technique is powerful but not absolute: Kai counters it because he possesses space magic of his own, and Barry’s concentrated sword attack breaks through the sealed space during training. Patty separately erects defensive barriers, which she layers with Nadya and Sasha’s defenses against environmental hazards and explosions. (Chapters 269, 274–275, 306, 318)

Hero-energy empowerment and transfer

Kai’s bodily fluids carry hero energy that a woman’s body converts into increased mana. After sex with him, Patty reaches Tier 9; by placing her hands on Barry’s back beside Iris, she can pass stored power into him as a permanent, stackable increase. The first transfer takes roughly ten minutes and raises Barry’s recorded mana from 30,000 to 50,000, but causes him severe pain while his body accepts the energy. Patty later repeats the process, while the source gives no independent method for her to produce the same boost without renewed empowerment from Kai. (Chapters 269–273, 299, 306)

Foxkin affinity and teamwork

Patty senses the Spirit Realm’s rich nature as deeply familiar and can distinguish a foxlike spiritual presence as kin-like but different. The response establishes affinity, not access to spirit energy or transformation. Tactically, her greater strength is coordination: she rescues Iris instead of chasing an opening, follows partners through layered attacks, heals Barry under pressure, and reinforces other mages’ barriers. Kai explicitly praises her situational awareness and level-headed teamwork even after overpowering the party. (Chapters 268–269, 278, 281, 292, 306)

Relationships

  • Iris: Patty’s closest and most consistent partner. They coordinate elemental and spatial attacks, protect each other, undergo Kai’s empowerment together, and eventually co-manage both the pirate organization and its postwar relief work.
  • Barry: Patty respects Barry’s compassion and serves in his hero party, but challenges his refusal to impose permanent consequences on repeat offenders. She repeatedly transfers power to him and supports him emotionally even as she develops an independent moral judgment.
  • Kai LuForia: Kai rescues and trains Patty, then initiates their sexual relationship through hypnosis and uses that relationship to increase her power. The later narrative treats them as affectionate partners expecting a child, while the coercive origin of her changed desire remains explicit in Chapter 269.
  • Cornelia: Patty welcomes Cornelia’s appointment over the reformed pirate organization and stays at the fort with her. Their collaboration gives Patty a permanent role in Eridani after the hero campaign ends.
  • Aquaphina: Patty worships Eridani’s goddess and kneels before her avatar. Aquaphina’s rejection of Barry’s mercy confirms the criticism Patty had voiced much earlier, though it also devastates the hero Patty continues to support.

Items

Patty uses an unnamed staff to channel at least one ice attack in her first appearance. No origin, special properties, or later fate is provided for it, and no separately named personal artifact is established in the supplied corpus. (Chapter 260)
