Nadya

Nadya is a former noblewoman who becomes the healer and magical controller of Kai LuForia’s principal party. Her defensive repertoire grows from Tier-6 magic into lethal battlefield control and divinity, while enslavement and the destruction of her family shape both her reserve and her capacity for vengeance.

Biography

From enslavement to a chosen place in the party

Nadya is introduced at a slave establishment, withdrawn enough that Kai cannot initially read her mental state through his usual hypnosis indicator. She had been the daughter of a viscount until a territorial war over an ore mine ended with the rival Cheston and Calaback houses destroying her family: her father and brothers were killed, her mother died after their enslavement, and Nadya was sold. Even after Kai destroys her collar and contract, she cautiously asks whether she is genuinely free to refuse his party offer. (Chapters 110–112)

Kai’s promise to help her avenge her family gives Nadya a concrete reason to accept. Only after she and Kyana agree does he secretly hypnotize them, making the origin of Nadya’s later romance and loyalty coercively compromised despite her prior voluntary decision to join. As the party’s support mage, Nadya buffs the group against a manticore, protects companions, and heals a wounded enemy so an interrogation can continue. Revenge on the Cheston house

Nadya’s normally quiet manner changes whenever evidence of the Cheston family appears. Learning that an enemy agent served them sends her mana out of control until Kai forcibly calms her, and she later enters their estate with her wand already leaking power. Rather than remaining behind while others settle her grievance, she confronts Brandon Cheston herself, kills the elite knight who targets her, and names the relatives, servants, and home his family took from her. When Brandon offers apologies and even his own wife in exchange for survival, Nadya rejects the bargain. She crushes demons with mana chains and barriers in the Spirit Realm, helps secure the eastern spirit orb, and keeps healing even when a controlled Kai overwhelms the entire group. In Astalith she reveals independently trained hand-to-hand skill, studies runes and foreign magic, protects temple teams, and turns gravity, force fields, floating attack orbs, soul-ripping chains, and death magic against occupying armies. After the Astalith war, Nadya chooses family life over another immediate expedition. She wants to help raise the household’s children and later says she enjoys being a mother, agreeing to return only when Kai presents the time-barrier crisis as a finite adventure rather than a permanent return to guild work. The campaign reveals her as a demigod capable of calmly destroying gods, and she later reaches full godhood off-page. Appearance and personality

Her kindness is not pacifism: slavery and oppression provoke intense anger, and she can execute enemies with unnerving calm. Powers and abilities

Mana, support magic, and healing

Nadya begins as an explicitly Tier-6 defensive and supporting mage. Her foundational spells include Strength and Defence buffs, healing, barriers, enchantment, and potion-making knowledge. The buffs surround targets with mana and improve physical performance; healing closes wounds and prevents death from injury or blood loss; barriers can cover individuals, a ship, or an entire group. She can also reinforce her own body enough to wield a mace and later fight barehanded. Nadya turns defensive geometry into weapons. She encloses heads or groups inside barriers and compresses them, forms mana chains that bind or crush targets, creates gravity circles that pin bodies to the ground, and surrounds herself with a force field that absorbs or repels attacks. Floating magical orbs let her attack multiple enemies while continuing to walk behind her defenses. Her later chains can tear souls from soldiers, a method the narrative says she learned from Kai; its requirements and effect on nonhuman or divine souls are not fully explained. She also develops death magic designed to kill without constant manual attacks. Relationships

• Kai LuForia: Kai frees Nadya, enables her revenge, empowers her, and becomes her husband. She grows comfortable enough to challenge his plans and choose family life, although his secret hypnosis after her recruitment permanently compromises the relationship’s origin.
• Kyana: Shared enslavement gives Nadya and Kyana immediate trust. They enter the party together, pursue the trafficking organization, and later form a support-and-ranged pairing whose banter reflects a long-standing friendship.
• Gwen, Amaya, and Sasha: Nadya’s buffs, healing, barriers, and control allow the original frontline trio to fight aggressively. By later campaigns she also joins their teasing, moral disagreements, household responsibilities, and eventual divine training.
