Warp Demolator Fragment
The Warp Demolator Fragment is a building-sized contained fragment of the phenomenon that swallows and displaces orbital bodies. Miss Aimee prepares it as the only available route by which Gustav can reach the Stagnant Siterus Void and the displaced Planet Humbad.
History
Prepared route on Agon
Miss Aimee hides the grey, sand-like fragment inside a containment field on Agon. She tells Gustav that a strange entity instructed her to prepare it and that she created the fragment for his journey. Although much smaller than a natural Warp Demolator, it emits the same energy signature. The artifact is best understood as a contained anomaly under her control, not ordinary equipment she carries or a possession Gustav can store. (Chapter 1489)
Gustav cannot safely use it immediately. Miss Aimee makes his ability to sustain the three-in-one golden body a prerequisite because the anomaly threatens body, mind, and soul. His friends remain nearby during preparation, but they are witnesses and endangered allies, not joint users or owners. (Chapters 1489, 1497, 1506)
Release into the Stagnant Siterus Void
At departure, Gustav dons the Sacred Armor, equips the Void Stepper, and takes the containment away from Agon. He breaks the field in space, allowing the fragment to expand into a huge, violent Warp Demolator. When it turns toward Agon, he enters and forces its trajectory away from the planet, preventing his friends from being swallowed. (Chapters 1525, 1532–1533)
Inside, the fragment subjects Gustav to compressed and stretched space-time, attacks his physical body, mind, and soul, and carries him along branching temporal roots. His golden body, Armor, and Void Stepper each address a different part of that danger. The route eventually deposits him in the Stagnant Siterus Void. The corpus does not identify a surviving discrete fragment after that journey. (Chapters 1533–1534)
Abilities and properties
- Expands from a contained building-sized fragment into a massive Warp Demolator when released. (Chapters 1489, 1532)
- Swallows orbital matter and transports what survives through distorted space-time toward the Stagnant Siterus Void. (Chapters 1533–1534)
- Exerts separate destructive pressure on body, mind, and soul; no single piece of protective equipment is shown to counter all three. (Chapter 1533)
- Has unstable trajectory and behavior. Gustav must steer it away from Agon from within rather than command it as a normal vehicle. (Chapter 1533)
- Distorts subjective time so that less than thirty minutes feels like years or centuries to the traveler. (Chapter 1534)
Ownership and custody
| Holder or custodian | Relationship to the item |
|---|---|
| Miss Aimee | Creator/preparer and containment custodian who controls training access on Agon; the fragment is an anomaly, not routine owned gear. |
| Gustav Oslov | Authorized traveler and user who releases and enters the fragment; not described as its owner. |
| Aildris, Falco, and Ria | Nearby witnesses endangered by the released anomaly; none possesses or operates it. |
