Madam Cilora is a senior Vertigon household member who acts as Gustav's guide and institutional advocate during the search for the Beta cult master.

Biography

Receiving the outsider at Vertigon

Cilora receives Gustav Oslov as a respected guest and transports him into the main household, where his youth prompts skepticism. She counters Bila's doubts by emphasizing Gustav's MBO record and ability, helping him secure space to participate in the operation rather than allowing family hierarchy to dismiss an outside investigator before he begins. (Chapters 879–908)

Opening the cells and acting on the lead

After the first mission fails, Cilora escorts Gustav with Bila to the bloodline-dissipating cells and reluctantly permits access to prisoners. When a hostage attempt erupts, she watches Gustav overpower the threat and then grants repeated access as he explains his mental-imagery interrogation method. She carries the resulting location lead to Madam Lilian, converting Gustav's unconventional questioning into household action. (Chapters 915–918)

Cilora is a dark-skinned woman whose bearing reflects her senior position in the main household. She is courteous, perceptive, and willing to revise procedure when results justify it, though her initial reluctance around secured prisoners shows that she still takes institutional safeguards seriously.
