Mack Freindzer

Mack Freindzer is the rebellious counterpart who shares a body with Jack. Both are Beacon-ranked, but Mack has his own appearance, temperament, allotted waking time, and expression of the Concept of Entities.

Biography

The strongest officer's reluctant service

Mack is introduced when the great commanders order him to restrain Miss Aimee. He complains about the assignment yet disables her with force great enough to destroy half the building, only to be surprised by her recovery. Later revelations explain the unusual officer: Mack and Jack are distinct people in one body, each normally receiving twelve hours, while Mack's Concept of Entities created the separate Earth-like dimension used as the MBO camp. (Chapters 283 and 851–852)

Planetary warfare

During the Mendologa operation, Mack destroys roughly fifty thousand spacecraft in under a minute while holding off three powerful pursuers. Once the cadet team secures the enemy leverage, he arrives to take over the occupation and lets the exhausted younger officers withdraw. These actions show why the MBO uses him for conflicts beyond ordinary planetary forces, even though his boredom and impatience make him difficult to command. (Chapters 1023 and 1049)

The Death Angel crisis

Mack refuses orders to abandon the Death Angel research site, then briefly pursues the masked Gustav and overpowers him in a catastrophic battle using space constructs and superior speed. Sensing the site's attack, he breaks away, protects twenty-seven scientists, and survives a seven-hundred-mile disintegration blast. After Gustav reverses the failed timeline with the Ancient Hourglass, residual warning reaches Mack; he and Jack stop the experiments and defend that decision before MBO command. Appearance and personality

Mack appears as a handsome man with yellow hair, visibly distinct from Jack when the shared body changes control. He is bored by ceremony, irreverent toward commanders, and far more rebellious than his patriotic counterpart. That defiance coexists with decisive protection of civilians and colleagues: he ignores political pressure but reacts instantly when the scientists are endangered. Bloodlines and abilities

At Beacon rank, Mack wields the Concept of Entities to create and manipulate large-scale spatial structures. Triangular or star-patterned constructs can shield, move, isolate, or teleport targets; his power also sustains the MBO camp's separate world. He combines this with extreme speed, durability, and destructive scope. The shared body is an operational constraint because control is divided with Jack, while comparable exceptional beings such as Aimee and Gustav can still contest him.
