Axiler
Axiler is a galaxy-spanning collector who sells rare objects and illicit IYSOP information. His transactions become evidence in the assassination case against Orimon.
Biography
A collector forced into misinformation
Axiler's scattered species and illegal work make him wanted on four alliance planets, yet his collections attract both authorities and criminals. When Gustav's party approaches, Axiler tries to flee by spacecraft, but Miss Aimee retrieves him almost instantly. Under pressure, he admits using a sentient breach artifact to sell IYSOP intelligence and is forced to feed customers false scoring information, damaging planets that relied on his reputation. (Chapters 1236–1250)
The transaction behind Orimon's weapon
Stark later remembers seeing a Xionsi elder receive a trinket during a meal with Axiler. The image links Axiler's collection to the unexplained killing power used by Orimon against Earth. Although the footage does not prove every transfer detail, it gives Gustav enough evidence to show Premier Shirmin meeting a notorious collector and to argue that the item, rather than Orimon's normal bloodline, enabled the murders. (Chapters 1258–1259 and 1298–1299)
Appearance and personality
Axiler is a nonhuman being able to alter or reveal his presentation at Aimee's command; the retained text does not support a stable detailed portrait. He is evasive, theatrical about being a poor trader despite great wealth, proud of his collector status, and quick to cooperate when faced with overwhelming force or the threat of losing a customer. (Chapters 1236–1248)
Bloodlines and abilities
Axiler's personal bloodline is not established. His demonstrated advantages come from interstellar contacts, a fast spacecraft, rare collections, and access to a sentient security-breaching artifact that extracts forbidden tournament information. None prevents Aimee from intercepting him, establishing a clear limit when his tradecraft meets superior speed and power. (Chapters 1236–1250)

Items
Axiler controls many rare artifacts, but no catalogued generated item is established as his lasting personal possession.
