Kevin's Sword — The Author's POV

Kevin's Sword is the longsword consistently wielded by Kevin Voss, serving as the physical focus for his Levisha Style, system-assisted growth and later sword arts.

History

Lock Academy frontline weapon

Kevin first uses the sword in direct combat against Eldor and the Hollberg attackers, coating it in a red hue and placing himself at the front while Amanda Stern and Emma Roshfield support from range and flank. As his early mastery improves, the blade cuts dungeon monsters, chains and demon opponents; successive exchanges make his blows heavier and faster. Its failures also measure the gap above him, most starkly when Gilbert stops the blade with two fingers. (Chapters 61–69, 106–129, and 181–205)

Refined control and sword arts

Kevin learns to redirect the blade through feints so abrupt that it appears to disappear and reappear at a new angle. Donna Longbern later uses his weapon to demonstrate a controlled psyon film that protects and reinforces a blade. After mastering Everlasting Sunset, Kevin forms a black-light sphere at the sword's tip that draws debris and air inward, restraining targets through an attraction resembling a small black hole. These developments show the sword operating as a channel for learned arts rather than as the source of them. (Chapters 231, 249–251, 356, and 390)

Tournament peak and demon-planet fighting

At the international tournament Kevin's red-coated swordsmanship forms a near-continuous net around Ren and is judged close to perfection for his age. In the final against Vaalyun, a violet flame erupts from the blade to meet the elf's compressed cold attack and wins the decisive exchange. Kevin later uses the sword against high-ranked demons and the white core on Cassaria; the blade can crack that core's surface but cannot shatter it outright, exposing the limit of ordinary weapon force against the object. Properties and functions

Psyon and mana channel

The longsword accepts Kevin's red mana or psyon coating, concentrating his physical strike and protecting the metal with a thin controlled film. That reinforcement scales with Kevin's control; the source does not establish an independent enchantment, intelligence or self-generated energy within the weapon. Levisha Style focus

Kevin uses the blade for rapid redirections, false thrusts and linked attacks that close escape angles. The apparent disappearance of the sword is a product of movement and technique, not teleportation by the item. As Kevin's system-supported mastery rises, the same physical format channels increasingly heavy and fast blows without changing the sword into the origin of Levisha Style. Everlasting Sunset and elemental output

Everlasting Sunset produces an attraction sphere above the tip that pulls nearby matter and restricts movement. In the tournament final, Kevin also emits a violent violet flame from the sword. Both are wielder techniques expressed through the blade; neither is demonstrated as available to another person merely by holding it. Durable high-level targets can resist: Cassaria's white orb only develops spreading cracks after direct contact. (Chapters 390, 459, and 588)

Owners and users

Kevin Voss: Sole established owner and combat user. The sword is repeatedly stored, drawn and channeled as his personal equipment. (Chapters 61–588)
Donna Longbern: Instructor who points to Kevin's coated sword as a teaching example; she does not take ownership or wield it. (Chapter 356)
