Silug

Silug is a white orc commander from Immorra who rises from a demoted legion officer to chief of the planet's surviving orcs. Ren exploits Silug's need for food, revenge, and freedom from demon rule, but Silug's later loyalty is not merely contractual: once Ren proves stronger and repeatedly protects his people, Silug chooses to follow him and leads an Immorran army into the demon domain.

Biography

Legion commander and rebellion

Silug first commands 3,500 orcs against a Count-ranked demon force after demons destroy scarce food supplies. He fights at the front with a massive axe, but the orc chief later demotes him to guard stores, exposing the internal politics behind his military position. Ren uses that grievance and the wider collapse of orc independence to recruit him into a prison break and revolt. Silug accepts because the plan offers both revenge and a future for people otherwise trapped between starvation, their chief, and demonic occupation. (Chapters 166–181)

Before leaving Immorra, Ren hides Silug inside the demon castle with a bag of natural treasures meant to enable an S-rank breakthrough. He instructs Silug to emerge near the war's end, kill both the exhausted orc chief and Marquis Azeroth, take Setin, and restore its crops. Silug also signs a demon contract with Angelica, which hides him among contracted prisoners and links their growth. He promises loyalty if the plan delivers his revenge, while Ren privately treats the contract as insurance against a later betrayal. (Chapters 185–186)

Breakthrough and rule of Immorra

The investment succeeds: Angelica reports that Silug has broken through to S- and is consolidating before attacking the old chief and Marquis. Six Immorran years later he sits as the new orc chief, with Omgolung's presence subordinate to his own. The result gives Silug political power, but also changes his priorities. When Ren returns to collect the pledged service, Silug admits the debt yet refuses to abandon his people, preferring a fight and its consequences to keeping the agreement at their expense. (Chapters 436, 611–620)

Ren defeats him, but the contest clarifies rather than destroys their alliance. Silug's seventy years of battle experience make him cautious enough to suspect hidden strength, and his S-rank body and axe force Ren to abandon a purely physical test. Once Ren proves decisively stronger and helps repel the demon assault threatening the city, Silug accepts his authority without surrendering responsibility for the orcs. He thereafter coordinates the city's defense with Omgolung and treats Ren's requests as part of their people's survival rather than a detached mercenary obligation. (Chapters 620–640)

Contracts, resources, and chosen loyalty

Angelica later annuls her contract with Silug by mutual consent. The demonic energy leaves his body, his muscles visibly deflate, and his strength falls slightly, although the absence of devil-fruit bloodline changes prevents a worse backlash. Ren promises demon-treasury herbs to restore and advance him; Silug immediately signs a new mana contract committing himself and his people to the coming war. His stated reason is gratitude—without Ren they would already be dead—and the rapid signature marks the point where loyalty becomes a choice rather than only Angelica's restraint. (Chapters 659–660)

Invasion of the demon domain

Years of access to conquered resources make Silug visibly stronger and cover his scarred body with trophies. When Ren opens the way into the demon domain, Silug leads massed orc forces through the portal, takes command even of fighters who did not arrive with him, and breaks a demon city's defenses through relentless coordination. Brutus is stronger personally, but Silug's battlefield command wins the wider army's confidence and drives the capture of the central tower. He then kneels to Ren, calls him lord, and asks that the Immorran orcs continue following him. (Chapters 787–791)

After the conquest, Silug helps receive Earth's orcs for resettlement on Immorra. He stands at the head of tens of thousands near the portal and explains that Ren summoned them to solve the orc crisis. His latest scene leaves him alive as the military leader joining the two displaced orc populations to a restored world, the large-scale fulfillment of the food, territory, and survival aims that motivated his first rebellion. Appearance and personality

Silug is a tall, white-skinned, massively muscular orc with deep green eyes and a large scar covering half his face. His breath steams, his steps can shake the ground, and he initially carries a huge bloodstained axe. Later he appears scarred and trophy-adorned at the head of an army, sometimes wielding a hefty sword instead. (Chapters 166–168, 621, 787–793)

He is proud, direct, and governed by an orc's respect for demonstrated strength, but he is not thoughtless. He recognizes ambushes, distrusts an opponent who looks too relaxed, and places his people's welfare ahead of an old promise even when that choice may provoke a stronger benefactor. Once convinced, he is strikingly loyal and literal: he signs Ren's contract without extended bargaining, kneels publicly, and frames obedience as repayment for survival. Orc physiology and aura

Silug's body supplies tremendous strength, durability, and aura. He trades blows with a Count-ranked demon commander, splits the air with an axe-born red attack, stops Ren's punch without moving, and fills a hall with pressure after reaching S-. Red runes and dark-green aura amplify his battlefield presence. Physical power does not make him untouchable: Ren's timing and abilities defeat him, Marquis-ranked demons still require Silug and Omgolung to cooperate, and the loss of Angelica's demonic energy slightly reduces his muscles and strength. Axe and heavy-weapon combat

Silug's signature weapon is a single-edged, worn axe saturated with the smell of blood. He uses broad swings and aura projections powerful enough to create large shockwaves and scar the terrain, while his speed is unexpectedly high for his frame. Later he also commands with a heavy sword. His attacks are direct and destructive rather than subtle; a sufficiently fast opponent can evade them, interfere with the weapon, or exploit the commitment of a full swing. Command and logistics

Silug's most consequential ability is command. He directs thousands through war cries and simple battlefield orders, coordinates catapult reloads, holds a collapsing defense against multiple Marquis-ranked demons, and later takes control of a mixed orc army that includes Brutus's forces. His authority is earned through visible presence, shared risk, and proven results rather than supernatural compulsion. It also has a limitation: he is a military administrator, and Ren explicitly judges him unsuited to managing every civic or planetary matter alone. (Chapters 166–169, 625–629, 655, 787–791)

Contract-linked power

Angelica's demon contract makes Silug's growth strengthen her and supplies demonic energy to him; it also links their risks. Its consensual annulment removes that energy and causes a small, immediate loss rather than a full collapse because Silug has not thickened a demon bloodline with devil fruits. The later contract with Ren is primarily an alliance obligation backed by future herbs. The corpus anticipates further growth from those resources but never supplies a later exact rank, so SS remains a prediction rather than a confirmed attainment. • Ren Dover: Ren engineers Silug's rebellion, supplies the resources for his breakthrough, and initially binds him through Angelica. Silug later resists leaving his people, accepts Ren after a strength test and rescue, and finally follows him by choice (Chapters 175–186, 620–659, 787–793).
• Angelica von Droix: Angelica is Silug's first demon contractor. His growth helps raise her rank, while his death would endanger her; they later annul the contract mutually when it becomes a liability (Chapters 185, 232, 296, 659).
• Omgolung: Omgolung is the former chief whose authority Silug surpasses. By Ren's return he serves as the second major orc presence beside Silug, and the two hold off Marquis-ranked demons together (Chapters 178, 619, 629).
• Brutus: Brutus is personally stronger and leads Earth's orcs, but comes to admire Silug's command during the demon-domain assault. Their populations are subsequently directed toward a shared future on Immorra (Chapters 787–793).
