Brutus

Brutus is the fearsome leader of the orcs and one of the three nonhuman leaders allied with humanity.

Biography

From feared general to coalition leader

Human accounts introduce Brutus as a one-man general whose strength makes the orc border a strategic threat. At Issanor he watches Kimor represent the younger generation, then later joins Gernis and Maylin in governing the wider alliance. On Immorra he holds Prince Kuzma's battlefield against superior Duke support until Ren intervenes, accepts the portal strategy, and helps stabilize the core-powered refuge through the cataclysm. (Chapters 2, 403–445, 771–842)

Appearance and personality

Brutus is a massive orc with a broad face, deep green eyes, and breath that makes the air tremble. Expressionless and intimidating, he is stubborn and martial but practical enough to accept unfamiliar plans once results prove their value. (Chapters 403, 771, 784–801)

Powers and abilities

Brutus wields an enormous axe and immense physical strength, aura, and durability. He can contest Prince Kuzma briefly despite hostile Duke support, but the scene does not present him as capable of winning that matchup alone. No explicit personal stage change is recorded. (Chapters 784–790)
