Wei Qing

Wei Qing is the younger of the Wei twins and one half of the Fire Hammer Squad's Twin Moon Scimitar pair. More openly skeptical and blunt than his elder brother, he becomes a practical instructor and dependable teammate after Luo Feng proves himself in the wilderness.

Biography

From skepticism to instruction

Wei Qing objects to carrying an untested rookie, arguing that Luo Feng must not become a burden when the squad hunts stronger monsters. Watching Luo Feng defeat his first horned boar changes his judgment: he agrees that the squad can nurture another capable member. He then explains the principle behind Wei Tie's demonstration—create an opening with the shield, attack a protected weak point, and use strength cleanly rather than wasting movement. Fire Hammer operations

Wei Qing and his twin repeatedly act as a paired vanguard, using identical shield-and-scimitar movements to cut a lion mastiff's front-leg joints and distracting monster herds under Gao Feng's orders. His measured fist strength of roughly 9,510 kilograms, speed of 106 meters per second, and reaction test place him at beginner Warlord level. After Zhang Ke is crippled, Wei Qing is willing to seek a chance to eliminate the responsible Tiger Fang fighters, while still remaining with the squad through its City 003 expeditions and later reunion. Leaving the wilderness career

Wei Qing returns after the New Year joking that his body is beginning to rust, then joins the Fire Hammer Squad's final recorded mission. With Luo Feng moving beyond the team and the veteran members aging out of active wilderness work, Wei Qing, Wei Tie, and Chen Gu prepare to retire. Their departure brings the squad to an orderly disbanding rather than a battlefield destruction. (Chapters 104–109)

Appearance and personality

Wei Qing closely resembles his twin and carries the same shield-and-scimitar equipment. His dialogue is direct, sometimes cold, and more openly suspicious than Wei Tie's: he challenges Luo Feng's readiness and later proposes killing the Tiger Fang fighters. He can revise his views when shown evidence, however, and a rare smile accompanies his serious instruction of the rookie. (Chapters 40, 42–43, 61, and 69)

Abilities and progression

Wei Qing is explicitly tested at beginner Warlord level. His reported measurements are about 9,510 kilograms of fist strength and 106 meters per second in speed, with a beginner-Warlord reaction result. In battle he uses a shield and curved blade, specializing in coordinated flanking and precise attacks on joints or other weak points. (Chapters 44 and 61)

His greatest demonstrated distinction is teamwork with Wei Tie. The twins move almost identically, allowing them to disable a charging monster from both sides and to serve as a reliable diversion while heavier attackers prepare the kill. No later rank increase is stated. (Chapters 44–46)
