Biography

An Ice Queen constrained by duty

Lyriana begins as the Queen of the Elves and one of Yrniel's strongest female cultivators. She has pushed an incomplete Elven foundation far enough to exchange moves with figures such as Arcturus, and her command of ice magic earns fear even from demons who specialize in the element. Political obligation, rather than affection for Yrniel's other rulers, brings her to high-level gatherings; she is curt with rivals, openly dismissive of the human delegation, and more interested in returning to her forest than socializing. Her public reserve hides two strong pressures. Lyriana is a magic enthusiast with unusually fine sensitivity to Mana, and she immediately recognizes that Nux's spellcasting and energy do not follow Yrniel's normal principles.
