Luciana Bloodheart

Luciana Bloodheart is Lazarus's first wife and one of Melia's sisters-in-law. Initially the strongest of Lazarus's three wives, she helps keep the family socially connected and later receives an externally induced breakthrough from Semi-Saint to Saint.

Biography

Welcoming Melia's new family

Luciana first meets Nux when he visits the Bloodheart family with Melia and his other wives. Introduced as Lazarus's red-haired first wife, she greets him warmly rather than treating the new marriage as a political intrusion. When Melia later returns after a long absence, Luciana, Esme, and Claudia embrace her and pull her into time with her sisters while Lazarus processes how much she has changed. Their aim is not merely to hear news: they want Melia's new household and the Bloodhearts to become one family, and they encourage her to bring all of Nux's wives to a women's gathering. That reunion also makes Luciana a witness to Melia's emotional development. She and the other sisters discover that Melia and Nux never held a marriage celebration and press them to recognize the marriage publicly alongside Nux's other unions. During the women's gathering, Luciana notices that Melia now stays, speaks about her feelings, and expresses herself rather than walking away. She concludes that the sisters should change with her so they can remain close, turning their teasing into an effort to meet Melia on terms she can accept. (Chapters 957, 961, 964–965)

A borrowed path to Saint stage

The disruption of Yrniel's mana eventually threatens the family's cultivation. Luciana's Semi-Saint stage lets her “hang on” longer than the Great Sage Esme and Claudia, but the source does not describe her as permanently safe. Melia promises that Nux can solve the problem, and Luciana accepts his intervention when he returns to the family. A drop of Nux's blood divides among Lazarus and his three wives, enters their bodies, and raises all four to Saint stage within seconds. Nux jokingly calls the method Dual Cultivation, but the demonstrated process is an external blood-based effect, not a technique Luciana learns or activates herself. (Chapters 1489, 1587–1589)

Luciana remains part of the Bloodheart household thousands of years later. When Melia returns to Yrniel with her son Noctis, Luciana comes with the family, embraces Melia, and joins the relatives surrounding the boy with questions. Her last appearance therefore leaves her alive, reunited with her sister-in-law, and still acting as one of the family's senior welcoming figures; no cultivation beyond Saint is established. Appearance and personality

Luciana is a beautiful red-haired woman. No eye color, clothing, age, or other individualized physical detail is supplied. (Chapter 768)

She is warm, socially confident, affectionate, and observant. Luciana is comfortable teasing Melia, but she also recognizes when Melia's nature requires a different approach and urges the other sisters to adapt rather than demand that Melia return to her old place in the family. Her concern for a shared marriage celebration likewise reflects a strong belief that every wife should be openly included. (Chapters 768, 941, 957, 965)

Abilities and cultivation

Semi-Saint cultivation and external advancement

Luciana is already a Semi-Saint when introduced, placing her above Melia and Lazarus's other two wives at that time. The corpus does not establish how she reached that stage, her affinity or Law, or any spell, weapon, bloodline technique, combat feat, range, activation cost, or counter. Her ability to endure Yrniel's mana crisis longer than the Great Sages is attributed to her higher stage, but “hang on” is not quantified. (Chapters 768, 1489)

Nux later raises Luciana to Saint by sending part of one blood drop into her body. The change is nearly instantaneous and is performed on four recipients at once, though the portions are unequal; the text does not state the size of Luciana's share or explain the internal mechanics. This is a permanent advancement as far as her later appearance shows, but it is itemless, externally granted power rather than evidence that she can reproduce the method.
