Noctis

Noctis Leander is the young son of Nux and Melia. Reserved and unusually responsible among the Leander children, he combines a controlled temperament with an early demonstrated ability to manipulate blood.

Biography

Responsibility among the Leander children

Noctis first appears tracking Selene's spending after she takes candy without paying. He gives her a coin to correct the theft, then uses a strand of blood to stop her from evading repayment. Their exchange turns playful and competitive, but Noctis ultimately takes her hand and returns with her to pay the shopkeeper, prioritizing the correction over winning their argument. (Chapters 2304–2305)

Within the larger family, Noctis gravitates toward children whose personalities emphasize control and reserve. At the family meal he sits near Nux with straight posture, eats slowly, and watches the more boisterous children rather than joining their disputes. This composure distinguishes him without isolating him: he remains close to his siblings and present in the family group when Nux announces the temporary sealing of the Universe. (Chapters 2318–2320)

Meeting the Bloodheart family

When the Leanders return to Yrniel, Noctis accompanies Melia to the Bloodheart estate. He notices her rare excitement and shares it, entering a family she had left long before his birth. Melia formally introduces him as her son, after which Orpheus, Lazarus, and the rest of the household surround him with questions and affection. (Chapters 2407–2408)

Noctis's latest state is alive and newly connected to his maternal relatives. The corpus ends during that reunion and does not show how the relationship develops or whether the Bloodhearts begin training him. (Chapter 2408)

Appearance and personality

Noctis is a boy with neatly kept dark-crimson hair, pale flawless skin, and calm red eyes. He wears a simple, fitted dark outfit and carries himself with quiet refinement; his eyes glow slightly when he manipulates blood. (Chapter 2304)

He is observant, controlled, responsible, and willing to enforce rules even with siblings. His severity is tempered by care: he pays Selene's debt, laughs at her challenge, and escorts her back rather than simply reporting her. Curiosity becomes more visible when he meets the Bloodheart family. (Chapters 2304–2305 and 2408)

Abilities and cultivation

Noctis demonstrates blood manipulation by forming a thin red strand that catches and restrains Selene's arm. The slight glow in his red eyes accompanies activation, but the corpus does not establish whether the effect comes from a bloodline, an inherited technique, or cultivation. Its range is short in the shown use, and no duration, energy cost, physical limit, counter, or later upgrade is provided. (Chapter 2304)

No cultivation stage, Law, formal combat training, or broader blood application is established. His parentage and Melia's abilities cannot be treated as proof that he possesses her full Blood Sovereignty, and his latest scenes remain familial rather than martial. (Chapters 2304–2408)

Relationships

  • Melia: Melia is Noctis's mother. He responds to her happiness during their return to the Bloodheart estate and relies on her to introduce him to his maternal family. (Chapters 2405 and 2407–2408)
  • Nux: Noctis is Nux's son and stays near him during the family gathering, though his quieter manner keeps their interaction understated in the supplied chapters. (Chapters 2318–2320)
  • Selene: Noctis acts as Selene's responsible counterweight, monitoring her spending and ensuring she pays for stolen candy. Their readiness to challenge each other remains sibling play rather than hostility. (Chapters 2304–2305)
  • Orpheus: Orpheus is Noctis's maternal grandfather and eagerly picks him up during their first meeting. (Chapter 2408)

Items

No personal weapon, artifact, or other named item is established for Noctis. The coin he gives Selene is ordinary spending money rather than a notable possession. (Chapter 2304)
