Latasha
Latasha is the Lord of Alphen's surviving Elves and a coalition hero known as Silver Arrow. The destruction of her forest and the death of her father make her openly hostile to Kang Woojin, but she nevertheless helps defend his Colony and guides him toward the hidden temples needed for Alphen's wider struggle. (Chapters 77–85)
Biography
Coalition defense and the hidden temples
Latasha entered the Sauraus campaign after her forest had been destroyed, leaving the remaining Elves willing to kill in order to survive. She blamed Kang Woojin for her father's death and attacked him with dual daggers when the old enemy appeared, only to be defeated and healed by Melody. Although she accepted the resulting alliance reluctantly, she shared intelligence about hidden Holy Items and guided Woojin toward Litan, using a Wind Spirit to fly ahead despite warning him that Water Dragons barred the route. (Chapters 77–79)
The new World Tree changed Latasha's stake in the Colony from reluctant cooperation to determined defense. As Lord of the remaining Elves, she regarded it as a restoration of the peace and ancestral forests her people had lost, refused to abandon it when a vastly larger enemy army approached, and trusted that Woojin would protect the city he had built. After the defenders survived, she again served as his guide, following oral tradition to Heres' remote temple and using her sight and spirit magic inside. The temple's power suppression left her temporarily helpless, but she remained with Woojin until he obtained the relic and they departed. (Chapters 81–85)
Appearance and personality
Latasha is a beautiful Elf with a delicate face, pure Elven blood, and notably sharp eyesight. Her usual composure is paired with blunt speech: she can curse “like a sailor,” openly lectures Woojin about manners, and refuses to lower her eyes even when frightened. She is proud, abrasive toward the Immortal, and deeply attached to Elven memory, yet she laughs freely with less threatening Earth visitors and shows curiosity about their unfamiliar culture. (Chapters 77–81 and 85)
Abilities and class
Latasha is an exceptionally agile close-range fighter. She claims unsurpassed Elven speed, attacks with paired daggers quickly enough to leave silver afterimages, and can keep pace with high-speed travel when exerting herself fully. Woojin nevertheless matches and wounds her, establishing that her agility is extraordinary rather than unbeatable. Her title Silver Arrow implies an archery identity, but the supplied scenes do not directly show her firing a bow. (Chapter 77)
She also calls elemental spirits. A Wind Spirit wraps her in fierce air and carries her through the sky, while a small fairy-like Spirit of Light illuminates the dark interior of Heres' temple. The corpus shows these summons but does not explain their cost, duration, intelligence, or whether Latasha has access to other elements. Inside the temple, environmental suppression removes her powers entirely, demonstrating that her spirit use can be disabled by local rules. (Chapters 78 and 85)
Relationships
- Kang Woojin: Latasha begins as an aggrieved former enemy who blames him for her father, then becomes a wary ally and repeated guide. She never grows comfortable with his violence or manners.
- Melody: Melody heals Latasha after the failed attack on Woojin and helps legitimize the alliance that Latasha initially distrusts.
- Tauric and Graham: They are fellow Alphen heroes and coalition leaders. The three survive together, debate whether the Colony can be defended, and share responsibility for its people.
- Do Jaemin: Jaemin treats Latasha respectfully at the World Tree and brings her to the coalition's emergency meeting.
- Hong Sunggoo: Latasha is more relaxed around Sunggoo than Woojin and responds eagerly to his descriptions of food from Earth.
Items
The scoped manifest assigns no independently generated item to Latasha. Her daggers are ordinary combat equipment in the supplied scenes, while her spirits are summoned beings or abilities rather than possessions.
