Shura Emperor Sword

The Shura Emperor Sword is the blood-corrupted form of the Chi Xuan Sword once wielded by the Forgotten Continent’s Shura. The Moon Goddesses could not annihilate it after his death and instead divided it into five massive shards. Ling Chen gathers those pieces, and his Heavenly Judgment Demonic Flames restore them into a standalone Saint Destroyer weapon whose entire equipment value is concentrated in physical attack.

Despite its name, the sword is not evidence that its ancient wielder achieved the hypothetical “Shura Emperor” state, which Qi Yue later admits she invented to influence Ling Chen. It is also distinct from the sealed Lunar Scourge Divine Spear and divine armour accessed through the Lunar Scourge; those True God items are not parts of a Shura Emperor equipment set.

History

Isrock, the New World, and the Lunar Scourge

Ling Chen finds the first shard, the sword’s black hilt, in the hidden cave below Novice Village. Although only about thirty centimetres long, it is so heavy that he can hold it for only moments. Its description recounts that the Red Mystical Sword King—later rendered as Chi Xuan Sword Emperor—became the Shura, and that the inherited Chi Xuan Sword turned red-black after drinking the blood of countless beings. When the Shura died against the Void Dragon God and the three Moon Goddesses, they failed to destroy the weapon and split it into five pieces instead. (Chapters 38, 669, and 754)

The second piece comes from the War God’s trial grounds. The deceased War God treasured it both as a trace of the strength he pursued and as a relic of his ancestor, the Forgotten Continent’s Shura. He warns that Moon God Clan discovery could bring destruction, yet entrusts it to Ling Chen rather than discard it. At this stage the fragments have no combat use; their weight, sharp remnants, and historical notoriety are all that remain of the complete sword. (Chapters 57, 82)

The Road South and the Fairy Realm

The third shard lies buried in the Dwarf Clan’s palace. Even the dwarves cannot repair it because its material and fracture exceed their craft, and they must dig it out rather than simply lift it. Ling Chen recognizes that collecting all five would still not guarantee a usable weapon: the sword’s equipment requirement belongs to a Shura, and no ordinary holder has the right power to wield its restored form. He nevertheless keeps the piece with the first two. (Chapters 391–392)

The Underworld and the Forgotten City

Xiao Hui detects the fourth shard beneath the Underworld Blood Lake, where only Leng’Er can retrieve it safely. The find is incidental to Ling Chen’s search for a Lunar Scourge orb, and he notes that he never deliberately followed a sword-fragment quest; apparently unrelated journeys repeatedly place the pieces in his path. By then he possesses four parts from Novice Village, the War God’s grounds, the Dwarf palace, and the Blood Lake, but still lacks both the final shard and a method of restoration. (Chapters 669–670)

The Moon God Palace and the Shura’s Return

The final piece is sealed inside Lunar Sky Hell specifically to prevent reunion with the other four. Ling Chen finds it after a month of failed escape attempts, initially throwing it away because even a complete sword seems useless against the boundary. Xiao Hui retrieves it, preserving all five pieces until Ling Chen accepts the Shura profession. The apparent shard number repeats “four” in the item text, but the narration explicitly identifies this as the fifth and final constituent piece. (Chapters 747–748)

When Ling Chen activates Heavenly Judgment Demonic Flames, the five fragments leave his inventory, circle within the fire, join in their original positions, and lose their cracks. This is a literal reforging of the historical weapon, not a newly generated class weapon or a temporary visual projection. The finished sword recognizes his Shura requirement, and its strength helps tear a stable exit through Lunar Sky Hell. Ling Chen then carries it into his confrontation with the Moon Goddesses. (Chapters 754–756)

He pairs the restored sword with the Lunar Scourge Divine Spear through the Gemini Orb’s dual-weapon authority. The sword breaks divine judgment arrows, helps kill demon beasts and the Mad Scientist, and remains his repeatable high-attack weapon when summoning or expending the spear would be unnecessary. Its feats depend on Ling Chen’s Shura power and skills: the blade supplies attack strength, while techniques such as Shura’s Merciless Slash belong to his profession rather than to the sword. (Chapters 756–794)

The Godchild Crisis and Qi Xing

At Godchild Peak, Ling Chen summons the sword and strikes King in fury. King stops the blow with one finger, withdraws that finger, and reduces the Saint Destroyer blade to dust. The system states that the weapon is completely destroyed and cannot be repaired. Ling Chen continues with the Lunar Scourge, its spear and armour, and his own Shura power, confirming that those systems remain separate rather than losing a shared Shura equipment set with the sword. (Chapters 805–806)

No shard survives this second destruction, and the later transformation into Extreme Shura does not recreate the weapon. Ling Chen fights Qi Xing through his own evolved force and the Lunar Scourge Divine Spear instead. The Shura Emperor Sword’s current state is therefore final destruction in Chapter 806, not storage, dormancy, or another waiting reforge. (Chapters 806–835)

Abilities and properties

• Historical identity: The weapon begins as the inherited divine Chi Xuan Sword of the Chi Xuan Sword Emperor, also called the Red Mystical Sword King in earlier translation. His descent into Shura and mass slaughter corrupt it into the red-black Shura Emperor Sword. This later Forgotten Continent Shura and his sword should not be conflated with Rashu or the True God artifacts from the older divine era. (Chapters 38, 57, 669, 754, 808–809)
• Five inert shards: After the Moon Goddesses fail to destroy the original sword, they divide it into a hilt, a point, and three body segments and scatter or seal them. Individual pieces are extraordinarily heavy but provide no attack statistic, skill, or equippable partial form. The duplicated “Shard 4” label on the Lunar Sky Hell piece is contradicted by the narrative inventory of five distinct locations. (Chapters 38, 82, 391–392, 669, 747, 754)
• Restoration condition: Possessing all five fragments is insufficient by itself. Heavenly Judgment Demonic Flames supply the force that fuses them, and the resulting item requires the Shura profession. The dwarves cannot reforge the material through ordinary craft, and the corpus establishes no alternative restoration method. (Chapters 391–392, 747–754)
• Grade and statistic: The restored item is a Saint Destroyer-grade, broad and heavy Shura sword with a red-black body, bloody light, and killing aura. It grants exactly 30,000 Physical Attack Power and no listed secondary attributes or weapon-native active skills. Its design concentrates all equipment value into raw attack because the Shura and Lunar Scourge already supply critical, penetration, accuracy, and special techniques. (Chapter 754)
• Shura compatibility: In Ling Chen’s hand the weapon feels perfectly compatible and transmits his profession’s destructive output. It can tear sub-dimensional space and shatter energy attacks when used with sufficient Shura force, but those results are not passive reality-cutting properties available to an ordinary wielder. The explicit equipment requirement excludes non-Shuras. (Chapters 754–756)
• Separate equipment systems: The sword is neither an orb effect nor the weapon form of the Lunar Scourge. Ling Chen equips it beside the separately summoned Lunar Scourge Divine Spear because the Gemini Orb permits two weapons at once. The sealed divine spear and armour can remain after the sword is destroyed, demonstrating independent origin, custody, and mechanics. (Chapters 754–758, 806)
• No intrinsic cost or cooldown: The item sheet lists no mana cost, health sacrifice, cooldown, or active skill. Costs seen while it is wielded belong to Ling Chen’s Shura techniques, Heavenly Judgment Demonic Flames, or the divine spear. Its practical limitations are the Shura-only requirement, reliance on the wielder’s force, and vulnerability to beings above Saint Destroyer scale. (Chapters 754–757, 805–806)
• Final destruction: The Moon Goddesses could only fragment the historical sword, allowing its first restoration. King later turns the restored blade to dust, and the system explicitly says it cannot be repaired. Nothing in the remaining chapters reverses that result. (Chapter 806)
