Lunar Scourge Divine Spear

The Lunar Scourge Divine Spear is an ancient True God weapon sealed inside the Moon God Orb. It is summoned through the Lunar Scourge, but it is a separate spear with its own statistics, techniques, penalties, and dormancy periods—not a transformation of the Luna Chain or the collective Lunar Scourge Orbs.

History

From an unnamed requirement to a summoned True God spear

God-Killing Moon first names the spear as a required weapon before Ling Chen can call it. After he acquires and sockets the Moon God Orb, a silver spear more than two metres long emerges from the Scourge, with a crescent-shaped head and a body light enough for him to wield freely. The Moon Goddesses identify it as the sole surviving True God spear, sealed with divine armour so it would not be destroyed with the ancient gods. Its summoning provokes heavenly tribulation, which Ling Chen survives through external lightning immunity rather than a property of the spear itself. (Chapters 733, 743, 755–760)

Against King, Qi Xing, and a destroyed moon

Ling Chen uses the spear against King at Godchild Peak and succeeds in piercing the shoulder of an opponent who had destroyed the Shura Emperor Sword, although the attack does not settle the larger conflict. After Ling Chen becomes Extreme Shura, the weapon darkens and responds to his killing power. In space, destruction of the real moon creates Broken Moon, letting him unleash God-Killing Moon through the spear and erase Qi Xing’s manifested body. The attack returns the weapon to the Moon God Orb and makes it unavailable for three months rather than destroying it. (Chapters 806–816, 834–835)

Abilities and properties

• Separate sealed weapon: The spear resides within the Moon God Orb and can be summoned or put away only by the recognized master of the Lunar Scourge. The orb is its container and access key; neither the orb nor the Scourge physically turns into the weapon. (Chapters 757–758)
• Form and grade: It is a silver, crescent-headed Spear of Heaven’s Wrath made from unknown materials with an unknown power core. Its displayed grade cannot be determined, while the Moon Goddesses call it a True God spear and its statistics exceed contemporary Saint Destroyer equipment. (Chapters 757–758)
• Combat enhancement: The spear adds very high physical and magical attack, all four primary attributes, movement, luck, comprehension, resistances, and parry. Its passive Peerless makes an ordinary spear attack deal two identical instances of damage. These bonuses apply while the spear is equipped and do not belong to an empty Lunar Scourge. (Chapter 757)
• Heaven’s Wrath cost: Each use of a Lunar Scourge Divine Spear skill permanently reduces the user’s maximum health and magic by one thousand. Although the Aries Orb normally protects Ling Chen from many negative effects, the spear explicitly excludes some of its ultimate restrictions from such cancellation. (Chapter 757)
• Shattered Moon: This technique can strike an area extending up to five kilometres for eight thousand percent damage and guaranteed temporary blindness, or concentrate on one target for fifteen thousand percent damage. It costs fifty thousand magic points and has a one-hour cooldown. (Chapter 757)
• Heaven’s Tears: The spear creates a rain of shadows over thirty kilometres for ten thousand percent damage. It costs 2.8 million magic points, has a three-day cooldown, and forces the spear back into the Moon God Orb for one day. (Chapter 757)
• God-Killing Moon: The ultimate technique has undetermined damage and range and requires Full Moon or Broken Moon. Its use immediately ends the moon state, locks the spear for three months, and has a stated fifteen-hundred-year cooldown that the Libra Orb cannot refresh. The Broken Moon use defeats Qi Xing, but it also leaves Ling Chen severely exhausted. (Chapters 733, 757, 834–835)
• Current state: The spear returns intact to the Moon God Orb after God-Killing Moon. The story later advances far beyond its three-month lockout and never reports its destruction, transfer, or separation from Ling Chen, so its latest supported custody remains sealed and summonable through his complete Scourge.
