Biography

The Road South and the Fairy Realm

Dilo welcomes Ling Chen into the hidden Dwarf settlement despite the unprecedented intrusion, identifying himself as the current chief and treating a visitor accepted by their guardian with courtesy. He guides Ling Chen to the clan’s sacred spaces and senior engineer, balancing suspicion of outsiders with hope that rare materials may finally let the Dwarves use their inherited craft. (Chapters 387–389)

Calamity in the East Ocean Continent

Dilo meets Yun Meng Xin and Chief Greenwood when they bring the Handsome Pan and the Underworld God Cannon blueprint. The ancestral relics and promise of a shared city persuade the isolated clan to leave its territory. Dilo’s first trip into the Fairy Forest begins a partnership that gives Dwarf craft access to resources, neighbors, and a public future. (Chapters 401–403)

The Defense and Founding of Ling Tian City

When the unfinished city is discovered, Dilo promises that three days of concentrated work can complete it. He follows Meng Xin’s instruction to keep the Dwarves building while others fight, despite wanting to defend their home directly. The city’s survival and opening validate that choice, and Dilo greets Ling Chen as the person who repeatedly creates a future for his people. (Chapters 545–546, 602)

The Underworld and the Forgotten City

The Forgotten Emperor’s attack enrages Dilo because Dwarf labor built the city without taking anything from the empire. He refuses evacuation, treating abandonment as the loss of the clan’s hope. Later, access to the Underworld God Cannon gives him direct contact with the ancestral achievement his people have revered, shifting the Dwarves from historical memory toward reconstruction. The Moon God Palace and the Shura’s Return

Dilo joins the most talented Dwarves in studying the cannon and later witnesses Elder Dita unveil a reconstructed version. His reaction is awe rather than a claim of sole invention; the project depends on ancestral plans, an existing model, materials, and Dita’s engineering. Dilo remains the chief who organizes and celebrates the achievement while the specialist leads its technical realization. (Chapters 727, 784, 788)

Appearance and personality

Dilo is an elderly, white-haired Dwarf with clear, intelligent eyes. He is hospitable, emotional, proud of Dwarf craftsmanship, and fiercely attached to the home his people build. His leadership favors collective survival and work, though threats to the city can make his anger override the Dwarves’ usual isolation. (Chapters 387–389, 545–602, 660–663)

Abilities and powers

Dilo possesses practical knowledge of Dwarf craft and the authority to mobilize the clan’s builders, but the corpus does not assign him a combat grade or unique crafting skill distinct from Elder Dita’s engineering. His greatest demonstrated ability is leadership: accepting migration, concentrating labor under siege, and coordinating long research without claiming impossible individual output.
