Broken Sword
Broken Sword is a rescued Wolfheart witch whose support power lets other witches exceed limits that once made industrial and medical work impossible. (Chapters 671 and 840)
Biography
Choosing a shared life in Neverwinter
Broken Sword exhausts much of her magic while helping the fugitive group survive its flight from Wolfheart, reaching Neverwinter among companions still carrying serious injuries. Hospitality alone does not decide her future; after observing how the Witch Union treats them, she is the one who proposes joining. That choice turns a temporary refuge into sustained work whose benefits extend from Hero's recovery to factories across the city. (Chapters 671, 693, 705, and 840)
Appearance and personality
No stable detailed physical portrait is established. Broken Sword is caring, practical, and quick to recognize the value of a safe community, while her willingness to expend herself during escape shows loyalty under pressure. (Chapters 671 and 705)
Magic and abilities
Broken Sword can raise another witch's magic-power limit, allowing an ability to achieve effects that repeated ordinary use could not reach. Her support helps make Hero's treatment possible and extends Mystery Moon's and Candle's enchantments. It empowers another witch rather than producing those results independently, and the borrowed improvement is not unlimited or permanent. (Chapters 840, 945, and 958)
Relationships
Amy, Annie, and Hero are Broken Sword's fellow fugitives. Her most consequential working relationships are with witches such as Mystery Moon and Candle, whose industrial abilities gain longer or stronger effects through her support. (Chapters 671, 705, 840, and 945)
