Clem
Clem is an AJ Entertainment presenter whose first broadcast introduces Gary Dem to a wider audience. She later uses the company's independent platform to expose the Phoenix Gang's attack on Slough, turning her growing public profile into practical support for the Howlers.
Biography
From first broadcast to independent coverage
Clem begins as a young presenter preparing for her first broadcast, working through an unscripted AFA feature with Gary under the supervision of AJ manager Elanor Evans and teacher Eddy. She remains interested in Gary after he withdraws from the AFC, attending the press conference where he announces his hiatus. Her own position changes as AJ and the Howlers become more closely connected: she grows into one of the company's recognizable stars rather than remaining a novice assigned to a single student. (Chapters 609, 674, and 986)
When the Phoenix Gang suppresses reports and online footage of its assault on Slough, Clem refuses to accept the resulting silence. She proposes launching AJ's unfinished streaming platform, uses AJ's stars to direct their audiences to it, and accompanies director Ash in a helicopter to film the conflict directly. Broadcasting Gary Dem's battle with Sin allows people inside and outside Slough to see both the destruction and the Phoenix leader's defeat. The dangerous assignment makes Clem a major presenter in her own right and ties her public role to AJ's support for the Howlers; she later attends their victory celebration as an AJ representative. (Chapters 869, 923, 986, and 1141)
Appearance and personality
Clem is a young woman slightly older than Gary, later shown with curled blonde hair, full makeup, and a colorful dress. Her polished, attention-catching presentation suits her profession, while her decision to enter a helicopter over an active gang war shows initiative that extends beyond studio performance. (Chapters 609 and 869)
Powers and abilities
Clem is not identified as an Altered and demonstrates no supernatural ability. Her relevant skills are live presentation, coordinating unscripted broadcasts, recognizing a censorship problem, and using AJ's talent network and independent platform to build an audience quickly. The stream still depends on ordinary cameras and transmission equipment: heat from Gary and Sin's battle eventually disables the camera. (Chapters 609, 869, and 923)
