Flora

Flora is the first Dhampir turned by Erin and becomes the movement's most visible representative after its queen. Fiercely committed to fighting vampires and supporting Erin, she joins Pure's operations, but repeated defeats leave her captive before an uncontrolled influx of energy destroys her body in another plane. (Chapters 1668–1691 and 1779–1976)

Biography

The Chained wedding battle

Flora attends the Chained wedding as the Dhampir representative, seated among the faction leaders with her name displayed at the table. She has already been restraining her hostility while surrounded by vampires, so the crisis gives her an opportunity to draw her thin sword and act. Her allegiance follows Pure's instructions: even after the immediate misunderstanding changes, she says she came with Pure and will continue helping the Chained. (Chapters 1668, 1673, and 1690)

She attacks Ray's dragon form with speed, timing, and a charged sword draw, avoiding invisible impacts that crater the ground. The dragon's raw power still overwhelms her approach, and Chris shields her from a stronger counterattack. Flora continues the wider battle against Jake, using her sword to turn aside lightning, but she is ultimately evacuated with other survivors rather than defeating either opponent. (Chapters 1675–1680 and 1690–1691)

Public face of the Dhampirs

Flora becomes one of the Dhampirs' prominent figureheads and makes more public appearances than the movement's other leaders besides Erin. Her visibility, appearance, and fighting reputation make Xander consider surrender when she arrives to seize Vincent's body and a nest crystal. This public authority derives from being the first Dhampir Erin turned and remaining continuously at Erin's side. (Chapters 1779 and 1788)

Her reputation does not protect her from Peter. Flora attacks him during the Red Vampire confrontation, but he defeats her easily and drags her from rubble by the hair. She escapes only by spending her Dhampir energy to collapse the rooftop and exploit Peter's distraction; she later reaches Erin bruised, unable to grip her sword properly, and with one arm twisted and broken. Training and Pure operations

Flora and Erin receive quarters aboard Pure's ship Rein and permission from Zero to train on its landing pad. Flora practises with the legendary sword then in her possession, producing aura slashes and combining its string-related movement with her own attacks, while Erin's superior force can still leave her severely injured. The training situates Flora inside Pure's plans but does not make her Erin's equal. (Chapter 1842)

On a later mission Flora charges ahead against powerful beasts and helps finish a demon-tier opponent after Erin weakens it. Pure benefits from the resulting crystals, while Flora's conduct shows that loyalty to Erin remains her main pressure: she repeatedly enters confrontations beyond her safe capacity so she can contribute to Erin and Zero's objectives. Defeat by Gorgath and Peter

Flora insists on helping Erin confront Gorgath, a celestial opponent, rather than leave her queen to fight alone. She uses a large sword that can discharge stored explosive force and change into a defensive cape, supporting those weapon effects with second-stage Qi. Gorgath knocks her away despite those options, and Peter catches her before she can recover. (Chapters 1945–1952)

Terrified but still resisting, Flora swings at Peter. He stops the weapon, crushes the bones in her hand despite her Qi protection, and breaks both legs. Peter's threat keeps her from healing or moving, and her accumulated exhaustion further limits recovery. The encounter strips away her remaining battlefield autonomy and leaves her dependent on the victors' decisions. (Chapter 1952)

Captivity and death in another plane

Fex takes Flora prisoner for answers and controls her body with his puppet technique while the group climbs toward the source of the mountain conflict. Flora warns that the being ahead killed Laxmus, but Fex forces her onward and instinctively places her in the path of an attacking creature. Its tentacles throw her through a magic circle into another plane. (Chapters 1968–1970)

Flora initially survives the passage, but two immense energies enter and expand within her. She loses sight and movement as her body burns and enlarges, then explodes under the pressure. The corpus identifies no rescue, reincarnation, or surviving remnant, making this her death; it does not explain the two energies well enough to assign them to Flora as a new power. (Chapters 1970 and 1976)

Appearance and personality

Flora is a pretty, long-haired blonde woman. In her public Dhampir role she wears light-coloured clothing under white armour and carries a sword. The corpus does not give her height, eye colour, age, or a stable description after her severe injuries. (Chapters 1668 and 1779)

She is confident, confrontational, and intensely loyal to Erin and the anti-vampire cause. Flora frequently volunteers for fights and refuses to stand aside even after stronger opponents establish the danger. That determination makes her a credible representative but also exposes a recurring weakness in judgment: Chris must save her from Ray, Peter defeats her repeatedly, and Gorgath outclasses her despite her insistence that she can help. The name occurrence in Chapter 235 is not this character: “Flora Saur” is an advanced-tier beast. The Dhampir Flora is first personally identified at the wedding in Chapter 1668, so the beast's name does not extend her biography or change her first appearance. (Chapter 235; Chapter 1668)

Powers and abilities

Dhampir physiology and energy

As a Dhampir created by Erin, Flora has enhanced strength, speed, reactions, and an aura hostile to vampires. She can evade fast invisible strikes, cross a battlefield rapidly, release a yellow aura slash, and pour Dhampir energy into a stomp powerful enough to collapse a roof. Her movement and swordplay place her above ordinary Dhampir Guardians, but Peter defeats her with ease and regards her as far below his level. (Chapters 1675–1680, 1784, 1788, and 1842)

Her body can heal, but recovery is not immediate or unlimited. Flora remains bruised with a broken arm after escaping Peter, is severely injured by training, and later refrains from healing her broken legs because Peter threatens her while she is already exhausted. The corpus does not quantify her healing speed, energy reserve, or the precise anti-vampire effect of her aura. (Chapters 1797, 1842, and 1952)

Qi and swordsmanship

Flora is an experienced swordswoman who channels energy through thin and large blades, times draw attacks, and can redirect Jake's lightning around her sword. She uses second-stage Qi defensively around her body and injured hand; this reinforcement mitigates force but cannot stop Peter from crushing the bones. No chapter gives her Qi origin, describes first-stage training, or shows progression beyond the second stage. (Chapters 1673–1675, 1690, 1842, and 1948–1952)

Several advanced effects belong to weapons Flora temporarily uses, not to her body. One sword can store force and release it as an explosion, shift into a cape-like defence associated with a vampire-family ability, and be moved with a string-related effect during training. These tools broaden her offence and defence, but Gorgath and Peter overpower them; their names, permanent ownership, costs, capacity, and later disposition are not established as Flora's configured inventory. Limits and final state

Flora's strongest consistent limitation is the gap between her confidence and the opponents she chooses. Chris must intercept Ray's counterattack, Peter repeatedly defeats and physically restrains her, and Gorgath knocks her from the celestial battle. Skill, Qi, and specialised weapons therefore do not overcome sufficiently superior speed, strength, or celestial power. (Chapters 1675–1680, 1784–1788, and 1945–1952)

In the other plane, external energies overwhelm Flora rather than becoming a controlled transformation. They consume her movement and senses, burn and enlarge her body, and culminate in its explosion. Because she never directs or survives the process, it is a fatal environmental effect, not a latest ability form. (Chapters 1970 and 1976)

Relationships

• Erin: Erin is Flora's creator, queen, training partner, and central loyalty. Flora stays at her side, serves as the Dhampirs' public representative, and repeatedly risks herself to support Erin's battles.
• Chris: Chris and Flora fight on the same side at the Chained wedding. He protects her from Ray when her own attack leaves her exposed.
• Peter: Peter repeatedly exposes the limit of Flora's strength, defeating her during the Red Vampire conflict and later breaking her hands and legs after the Gorgath fight.
• Zero: Zero gives Flora and Erin space to train aboard Rein and includes them in Pure's operations.
• Fex: Fex captures and controls Flora for information. While using her as a puppet, he places her in the path that sends her into the plane where she dies.
• Gorgath: Flora joins Erin against Gorgath but cannot overcome the celestial despite second-stage Qi and specialised weapon effects.

Items
