Biography

Inheritances and Territorial War

By its first appearance, Han Ying Xue has trained the crab to Level 76 and summons it to traverse the Blackwater Abyss with Zhang Yang. Mounted shared health raises her to nearly 50,000 HP, while the crab's melee attacks help destroy an elite skeletal tiger. It later carries her into mass PvP and responds to a mental command by kicking Messick into battle. Because Han Ying Xue usually heals from a safe rear position, the melee mount rarely reaches enemies and is eventually replaced on land by the magic-type Flaming Scarlet Tempest. The crab remains useful in water, carrying Han Ying Xue and Wei Yan Er across a lake while other passengers ride Zhang Yang's aquatic mount. (Chapters 351–352, 357, 514, and 558–559)

Appearance and personality

The creature is a large rideable crab with a hard shell and long legs capable of striking or carrying passengers. The corpus does not describe its eyes, exact coloration beyond the name, or any vocalization. It follows Han Ying Xue's telepathic commands, but no independent personality is established. (Chapters 351–352, 357, and 514)

Abilities and gameplay

The Red Gold Crab is a melee battle mount whose attacks at Level 76 are strong enough, alongside Han Ying Xue and Zhang Yang's mount, to kill an elite quickly. Mounting it raises Han Ying Xue's maximum HP through the shared mount system and doubles her ground movement speed. It is also an agile swimmer and grants its owner underwater breathing. (Chapters 351–352 and 559)

Its principal limit is role mismatch: a melee mount cannot attack if its healer rider stays safely behind the frontline. Mount-granted underwater breathing also applies only to the owner, so additional passengers must remain above the surface. These constraints explain both the land replacement and the crab's continued aquatic niche. (Chapters 558–559)
