Yu Jing Qiu

Yu Jing Qiu is a gifted ice mage of ordinary birth who becomes a central Xia Clan cultivator, the wife of Dong Bo Xue Ying, and a True God Ruler. She prefers the patient study of magic to killing, yet repeatedly accepts danger when loyalty, family, or the Xia Clan requires it. Her awakened memories reveal that she is the reincarnation of the Star Sword Mysterious Girl, a daughter of Monarch Mo Xue whose earlier cultivation supplies the sword attainment and World Deity foundation she carries into her life as Jing Qiu. Biography

Snow Eagle Territory and Black-Wind Cliff

Jing Qiu first appears at twenty-five as a renowned Silver Moon mage from Azure River County. Born without a powerful background, she entered Eternal Wind Academy, became a Meteor mage at twenty, remained there as a teacher, and advanced to Silver Moon rank at twenty-three. Her reputation rests on study rather than inherited standing: she is already training under a Transcendent Great Mage and intends to reach Transcendence through the same disciplined investigation of magic and nature. (Chapters 38–41)

Her first shared mission with Xue Ying immediately puts that education into practice. Jing Qiu evaluates Lu Huai Ru as both a mage and refiner, predicts alarm and trapping arrays, and recommends attacking during the guards' evening transition because darkness will also impair the arrays. Inside the castle, she refuses to let the group rush forward blindly. She chants two Frost Snakes into being to test and destroy traps, keeps enough magic power in reserve for unforeseen danger, and warns the others that destroying most arrays is not the same as establishing safety. Her planning gives the team a controlled advance where direct martial force would expose them to unknown mechanisms. (Chapters 39–43)

The mission also exposes the limits of her rank and the character of her companions. Her Frost Domain can suppress thousands of ordinary soldiers without immediately killing them, and her Frost Armor and angled frost wall provide emergency protection, but powerful spells require time and her physical strength cannot overcome a Silver Moon knight. Si Bai Rong exploits that weakness by pulling her in front of himself during a catastrophic explosion. Xue Ying saves her, and Jing Qiu responds with gratitude, discretion about his hidden strength, and a decision to return to the academy to develop the frost armor whose failure the blast revealed. The experience turns an admired young mage into a survivor with a specific defensive weakness to correct. (Chapters 41–50)

Transcendence and the Xia Clan

After Xue Ying is believed dead at Black-Wind Cliff, Jing Qiu refuses to accept the report without checking it herself. She nevertheless continues cultivating, spending more than a month in seclusion before reaching One with the World and entering Legend rank. When choosing a Transcendent organization, she rejects the tighter restrictions of the Temple of the Earth God. She says plainly that she does not like battle or killing and wants the freedom to research spells and the mysteries of nature, leading her toward the Water Daoist Faction and Infernal World rather than an organization whose demands would displace that purpose. (Chapters 78–82)

Jing Qiu later reaches Transcendence through ice and reunites with Xue Ying among the Xia Clan's Transcendents. Their earlier rescue remains important to her, but she is not admitted to Scarlet Cloud Mountain World merely because of that relationship. During her Battle of Life and Death, senior figures detect an unusually pure soul. The Xia Clan concludes that, if she becomes a Demigod, this quality will let her operate its strongest clan-protection Deity weapon; it quietly invests exceptional resources in her and assigns a Deity warrior for her protection. This creates a pressure she does not fully know at first: her private cultivation path has become strategically important to the survival of the clan. (Chapters 140–145)

Within Scarlet Cloud Mountain World, Jing Qiu continues investigating spell models and improves rapidly when the environment and her state of mind are favorable. She supports Xue Ying when senior instructors reject his cultivation philosophy and recognizes that his poor ranking reflects disagreement rather than absence of ability. Their affection develops through shared study, private trust, and ordinary time together rather than a single declaration. When war begins, she helps place major defensive arrays over Snowrock Mountain, undertakes her assigned half-year of demon searching, and keeps Xue Ying's sensitive achievements secret. By this point their families recognize the relationship, while Jing Qiu remains an active Transcendent in her own right. (Chapters 160–170 and 189–203)

The relationship becomes an operational partnership. Jing Qiu accepts that Xue Ying cannot disclose every clan secret, but asks directly about the danger of his reconnaissance and trusts his assurance once he explains its limited scope. She accompanies him to Black-Wind Cliff, researches the palace before their arrival, warns him that a Deity mage's mechanisms will be meticulous, and waits outside when he chooses to enter. When he succeeds, she accepts responsibility for concealing his combat power. Her concern never erases judgment: she understands both why he takes the risk and why the secret must be contained. (Chapters 221–236)

Demonic War and Crimson Rock Mountain

After the Demonic Faction headquarters falls, Jing Qiu waits beside Xue Ying as the Six Ghosts Resentment poison leaves him unable to cultivate normally and with little time to live. Xue Ying asks her to marry him while plainly explaining the pain and shortened future ahead; she answers that they will travel the Xia world together for however long remains. Their wedding gathers friends from every stage of their lives, and Jing Qiu joins the Snow Eagle household when marriage promises prolonged care rather than advantage. (Chapters 266–271)

Xue Ying's hexing poison subjects him to recurring pain that Jing Qiu cannot cure. She wants to remain with him through the night, but when he sends her away because he does not want his suffering observed, she recognizes his pride and does not force her presence into a situation where she cannot help. She instead monitors him through her senses and is alarmed to find him still training while near the limits of endurance. This is not passive waiting: she balances vigilance with respect for the choices he makes about his own pain. (Chapters 271–272)

Jing Qiu becomes a Demigod mage while Xue Ying is inside Crimson Rock Mountain and studies its arrays for eight hundred years. When the Sorcerer God and Great Demonic God invade, her preparation makes her one of the principal operators of the Level 12 Star Pagoda. She accepts mounting damage to her soul to reduce the treasure's Deity-crystal consumption and prolong the barrier that restrains the enemy armies. Even when Xue Ying orders her to rest, she insists that operating it is necessary not only to save him from the Sacred Sorcerer Camellia but to preserve the entire Xia Clan. Her growing comprehension lets the pagoda last until he breaks free, but the accumulated cost leaves her soul close to dispersal. (Chapters 353–390)

Forefather Scarlet Flame reconstructs Jing Qiu's soul in answer to Xue Ying's plea, leaving it stronger than before the injury. When she awakens, her attention turns from the war they survived to the family they can finally build. She and Xue Ying discuss children, and when he enters enlightenment in the middle of that conversation she quietly leaves him undisturbed. Their son Dong Bo Yu and daughter Dong Bo Qing Yao are born in Chapter 404, beginning a new phase in which her duties as mage and wife expand into motherhood. (Chapters 390–404)

Deity World and Bloodshed God Palace

As Xue Ying becomes Realm Lord, Jing Qiu understands the political consequence before the final action is taken: the ancient conflict between the Xia Clan and Beast Clan is about to end. She raises their twins inside the peace won by the war and watches Xue Ying divide his attention between family, cultivation, and responsibility for their material world. Their children inherit unusually strong bloodlines and mature amid elders whose lives now extend beyond the mortal limits that governed Snow Eagle Territory. (Chapters 395–405)

The middle of this period reveals a much older history. Jing Qiu is a reincarnator with the experience of a prior life, later addressed as the Star Sword Mysterious Girl and identified as the daughter of Monarch Mo Xue. News that the avatar guarding her father's empire has been killed shakes her, but she masters her voice, explains the attack, and joins Xue Ying in searching for what her father concealed. At Lake Heart Island, her stage four World Deity power can remove thousands of kilometers of ice with a gesture, yet the environment contains undercurrents and creatures capable of killing or overwhelming ordinary stage four World Deities. Her power is immense on a planetary scale but not protection against every ruin-level hazard. (Chapters 525–538 and 602)

Jing Qiu's past-life experience makes her decisive when retreat is necessary. When a beast leaves her with practically no way to resist and Xue Ying orders her to flee while his avatar blocks it, she does so despite the emotional difficulty, reasoning that both have sent avatars and that remaining would merely waste both lives. She later obtains a True God weapon and reunites with her father inside Lake Heart Island. She shares the route and guest-status intelligence she and Xue Ying discovered rather than withholding it, helping create a possible escape and reincarnation path for Monarch Mo Xue. Her father's approaching reincarnation restores the uncertainty Jing Qiu knows from her own previous life. She understands that success and the later recovery of memories cannot be guaranteed, even for a powerful cultivator. Before his departure, she reunites with him at Lake Heart Island and receives the time that his enemies had tried to deny them. At later gatherings, experts openly recognize her former identity as the Mysterious Star Sword Lady, while she continues to live and act as Yu Jing Qiu rather than abandoning the family formed in her reincarnated life. Lake Heart Island and the Cosmos

Jing Qiu's family role expands as she and Xue Ying bring Dong Bo Yu and Qing Yao through the Deity World and Bloodshed God Palace. When Xue Ying is summoned away, he trusts her to bring the children into a gathering of Rulers and reminds them to conduct themselves carefully. She later joins other family members sent to the Devil Mountain Cosmos for accelerated cultivation, then returns with them to the home cosmos. (Chapters 675 and 775–780)

That stability is disrupted when Xue Ying collapses into a deep sleep inside the supposedly protective laws of the material realm. Jing Qiu first tries to transmit World Deity energy into him, but his body repels it and she cannot diagnose or reverse the condition. The moment is a direct limit on her abilities: despite stage four World Deity power and prior experience saving him, his transformed body and the unseen cause of the sleep are inaccessible to her. She calls for him to wake and faces the crisis alongside their children rather than pretending that her rank supplies an answer. (Chapter 757)

When Xue Ying falls into an inexplicable deep sleep after the Starting Ground trial, Jing Qiu first tries to transmit World Deity energy into him. His transformed body rejects it, so she calls their children and faces the limits of her own power without pretending to understand the condition. His recovery and the later end of the Ancestor Mother Religion's invasion restore family stability, and Jing Qiu remains integrated with the Dong Bo family as they move beyond the material world. Great Void Heaven Temple and the Primal Chaos Void

When Xue Ying returns from another absence, Jing Qiu's immediate joy ends the worries she has carried in an Eden World. She values the months of ordinary companionship that follow even though she believes she may never transcend beyond her current limit. Her own practice continues—she is shown working through sword techniques—but she does not reduce their life together to an anxious race for rank. Contentment and cultivation coexist rather than canceling one another. (Chapters 874–876)

Xue Ying spends extraordinary resources to give her the best chance of advancing from stage four World Deity, including a Scarlet Cloud Pomegranate Core and a cultivation hall that maintain an exceptional state for hundreds of millions of years. The treasures create conditions rather than directly bestowing a realm. After two hundred million years of focused cultivation, Jing Qiu reaches the True God Ruler realm and is more astonished by the cost Xue Ying accepted than proud of the title itself. (Chapters 883 and 936–937)

At Ruler level, she remains attentive to changes in Xue Ying rather than overawed by his higher cultivation. When he summons their children, speaks to them briefly, and sends them away, she challenges the unusual behavior and learns that Sacred Master has captured his body. Xue Ying entrusts her with a sealed storage wristband and the knowledge that the Realm Heart Order may let him return. She keeps that possibility from their children for their safety and watches his incarnation dissipate without confusing his promise with certainty. (Chapters 987–990)

Conflict across the Realm Heart Great Land

After Xue Ying's soul dissipates, Jing Qiu tells their children to cultivate without relying on the protection he once supplied, while privately holding to his promise of return. She declines Jade Light Master's offer of discipleship and remains in his cavern dwelling. When the Sacred Master attacks the Great Void Heaven Temple for the Destructive Realm Teleportation technique, he captures her alive as leverage and confines her in the Sea of Agony. (Chapters 990–995 and 1104–1107)

Her captivity in the Sea of Agony is active torment. Its aura bites continuously at her soul and cuts her perception off from her body. When sensation returns and she opens her eyes, she finds Xue Ying beside her; her first response is disbelief that he has entered the Ancient Sacred World, followed by concern about the Sacred Master rather than concern only for herself. Xue Ying removes her and other prisoners into an Eden Treasure while his avatars and allies confront the realm's defenses. Jing Qiu is therefore rescued from a prison she cannot break herself, but her years of waiting supply the trust that makes the reunion possible. (Chapters 1108–1111)

Afterward, the life she had hoped for is deliberately modest: traveling with Xue Ying and their descendants, looking across the Primal Chaos Void, and sharing wine whose distinctive, adventurous flavor she prefers to his milder taste. She tells him that these days were what she wanted most after his apparent death. When Xue Ying later reaches the final realm of the Dao of Void, Jing Qiu's joy centers on the family's chance to survive the coming Great Apocalypse; she agrees to keep the breakthrough secret until his remaining work is done. (Chapters 1127 and 1253)

Broken Teeth Mountain Range

While Xue Ying explores the Broken Teeth Mountain Range through another avatar, Jing Qiu shares an ordinary meal with him in a small city of their hometown Origin World. They listen to two young True Gods discuss earning enough resources for discipleship, a scene that links the immense scale of their lives back to cultivators still struggling at the beginning of the path. Jing Qiu does not intervene; she instead reflects on how many such lives the approaching Great Apocalypse will extinguish. (Chapter 1270)

Watching the young attendants leads Jing Qiu to the approaching Great Apocalypse. She notes that countless sentient beings are still cultivating diligently and challenges the comfort of saying the end remains trillions of years away: even with Xue Ying's attainments, he can carry only a small number out of an extinguished Origin World. Her concern expands beyond her household without becoming a claim that she possesses a solution. (Chapter 1270)

Jing Qiu remains alive and at the True God Ruler realm as Xue Ying prepares his final advance. Their shared courtyard is the place from which he begins the deduction that makes him a Chaotic Origin Overlord, showing that his highest ascent still begins within the domestic life they built together. (Chapters 1270 and 1386–1388)

Appearance and personality

Jing Qiu is repeatedly described as exceptionally beautiful. As a young mortal mage she wears azure or green robes; after Transcendence, her green hair is worn loose and gives off a faintly cold aura. Transcendent rebirth renews her hair, skin, and eyes, while later scenes show her in white, light blue, or deep blue robes. She sometimes blurs her appearance with a small spell so ordinary people at Snowrock Castle are not overwhelmed by it. (Chapters 41, 140, 143, 189, 615, and 937)

Her defining temperament is intellectual independence. She dislikes using clan power to oppress others, resents Si Bai Rong's showmanship, and chooses a cultivation organization based on freedom to investigate spells and nature. On missions she is cautious without being timid: she asks about enemy ranks, anticipates arrays, conserves magic power, and treats incomplete information as danger rather than an invitation to boast. She is willing to fight, but does not make killing the purpose of her cultivation. (Chapters 38–43 and 82)

Jing Qiu is loyal, discreet, and capable of hard decisions. She keeps Xue Ying's secrets, respects his need for privacy during pain, retreats when remaining would sacrifice two avatars, and waits for a return that few others know is possible. Her emotions are nevertheless open rather than detached. She grieves family, fears losing her husband, challenges him when his behavior changes, enjoys unusual wine, and voices concern for ordinary beings facing apocalypse. Her composure is a practiced response to pressure, not absence of feeling. (Chapters 49, 271, 525, 538, 992, 1127, and 1270)

Abilities and cultivation

Jing Qiu follows a mage's path based on magic power, spell models, research into nature, and later World Deity and True God cultivation. Ice supplies her original element, array study becomes her most important strategic discipline in the war, and the awakened attainments of her former life add sword arrays and a mature World Deity foundation. Her abilities emphasize preparation, control, and technical understanding rather than Xue Ying's direct spear combat. (Chapters 38–50, 140–145, 353–390, and 513–557)

Mage training and ice magic

Jing Qiu's mortal progress is unusually fast: Meteor mage at twenty, Silver Moon mage at twenty-three, and One with the World soon after the Black-Wind Cliff mission. Mage advancement depends on research into nature and its laws, matching her stated desire to discover spell models peacefully and freely. A staff assists her casting, while demanding spells require chanted incantations that focus the mind through self-hypnosis. Lower-level spells such as her Frost Domain can be released without that preparation. Her principal resource limitation at Silver Moon rank is magic power, which is why she stops after creating two Frost Snakes and reserves the remainder for emergencies. (Chapters 38–42 and 78–82)

Her Frost Domain spreads cold over a broad area with precise control. At Lu Clan Castle it freezes the ground, numbs thousands of ordinary soldiers, and lets her give them a route of retreat before prolonged exposure becomes lethal. Frost Snakes are level-five constructs with strength approaching a Legend ranker and no vulnerable living anatomy; damage removes frost energy, after which supplied magic reforms their bodies until the finite energy is exhausted. Jing Qiu uses them as disposable scouts and array breakers rather than close personal guards. The strategy is powerful when she has time to cast and much weaker when an attack arrives before a major spell can be prepared. (Chapters 41–43)

Frost Armor is her immediate personal defense. It can temporarily resist Silver Moon-level force and reduce transmitted shock, while an angled frost wall redirects some impact. Neither is absolute: the castle explosion breaks the wall, and Si Bai Rong's greater physical strength can reposition her despite the armor. She treats the failure as evidence, returning to the academy for an extended period of research. Her other early applications include wind that controls a group's descent and conceals its presence, magical detection of arrays, cold-energy preservation of a corpse, and large defensive arrays placed around Snowrock Mountain. Pure soul and Transcendent cultivation

Jing Qiu reaches Transcendence through the power of ice, which transforms both body and spirit. During her Battle of Life and Death, a senior expert recognizes that her soul is exceptionally pure. The Xia Clan believes this makes her compatible with Ancestor Snow, its strongest clan-protection Deity weapon, once she becomes a Demigod. Her compatibility is strategic rather than an innate attack: it allows a mage with the necessary soul and realm to operate an external weapon capable of dominating Transcendent major worlds. (Chapters 140–145, 221, and 257)

As a Transcendent, she investigates increasingly complex spell models and eventually becomes a Demigod mage. Eight hundred years of study inside Crimson Rock Mountain prepare her to operate the Level 12 Star Pagoda's linked arrays. Greater comprehension reduces wasted Deity-crystal energy and extends the defensive world's operating time, but controlling more of the array places increasing pressure on her soul. Jing Qiu deliberately continues past safe limits during the war; the result saves time for Xue Ying's breakthrough at the cost of damage so severe that her soul begins to disperse. World Deity power, reincarnation, and sword practice

Jing Qiu's later identity establishes that she has completed one prior life and reincarnated under a new name. She carries that experience into danger, allowing her to judge the loss of an avatar differently from the loss of a true body. By the Lake Heart Island expedition she is a stage four World Deity. A gesture can tear away and dissipate an ice layer thousands of kilometers deep, and her perception and energy operate at planetary scale. Yet she cannot withstand Lake Heart Island's great undercurrents or its strongest beasts, making environmental knowledge, avatars, and retreat essential limitations on raw power. As the Star Sword Mysterious Girl, Jing Qiu retains past-life World Deity comprehension and the Heart Sword Diagram she acquired during that life. After revealing her identity to Xue Ying, she integrates the diagram with her personal sword art, transforms her inner world, and advances directly from Deity energy to the fourth-stage World Deity realm. The breakthrough is rapid because the comprehension already exists; Deity crystals supply the energy required to rebuild the inner world at its corresponding scale. (Chapters 513–515)

Her personal blood-refined Deity warrior consists of nine thin swords. They can strike separately, combine into a coordinated array, or merge their force at a single structural weakness. At Lake Heart Island she uses them against Calamity Rock Essence and in group battles where her strength lies in formations rather than close quarters. The Violet Sunrise secret technique wraps her body in violet light and lets her fight without exposing the sword methods associated with her former identity, trading access to her familiar arts for concealment. She also acquires a True God weapon on Lake Heart Island, though its name and full technique set are not stated. (Chapters 515, 523–530, 537, and 553)

True God Ruler realm

From the peak of stage four World Deity, Jing Qiu cultivates under exceptional conditions purchased by Xue Ying, including resources that maintain an optimal state for hundreds of millions of years. These aids extend opportunity rather than directly granting the realm. By Chapter 937 she has broken through to True God Ruler, and by Chapter 1270 she can effortlessly overhear voice transmissions between True Gods. (Chapters 883, 936–937, and 1270)

Her later scenes emphasize continued experimentation, sword practice, and perception rather than a named Ruler-level combat art. She remains serious about cultivation even after Xue Ying surpasses her by several major realms, objecting when he interrupts an experiment without explanation. The Dao of Void, Mirage and Illusory Realm, and Chaotic Origin abilities remain Xue Ying's paths rather than hers. (Chapters 937, 1253, and 1270)
