Forefather Tian Yu is the founder of the Great Void Heaven Temple and a protective senior to Dong Bo Xue Ying. He guides the temple, helps defend the sacred worlds against the Sacred Master, and later participates in the alliance that welcomes Xue Ying back after reincarnation. Chapters 762–1099 survive chiefly as short opening fragments, so several intermediate actions and the details of his cultivation cannot be reconstructed; the cited passages do not create a conflicting identity. Biography

Lake Heart Island and the Cosmos

After creating five cosmos, Tian Yu establishes the Great Void Heaven Temple in the Seven Star Oceanic Sacred World. He recognizes Xue Ying's potential, counsels him about the dangers and benefits of fighting Destruction Devils, and tries to keep him from contacting a hunted teacher. As pressure grows, Tian Yu orders the temple's senior members to remain inside its protected strongholds. (Chapters 762, 810, 850, 890, 909, 937, and 969)

When the Great Void Heaven Temple suffers heavy casualties, Tian Yu helps move its survivors to the Eastern Unicorn Sacred World and refuses to surrender the Destructive Realm Teleportation technique to Sacred Master, even at the cost of the sect. Learning that the reincarnated Xue Ying may have returned, he worries that the younger cultivator will attempt an impulsive rescue, gathers allied Cosmos Gods, and then confirms Xue Ying's identity through the Destruction Flower. (Chapters 1103–1111)

Tian Yu subsequently watches Xue Ying and Swordmaster reach the final realm, sees Sacred Master's believers freed, and celebrates that the Great Void Heaven Temple now has two final-realm cultivators. His latest appearance is among the elders considering the survival of their Origin World and its people as the Great Apocalypse approaches. (Chapters 1184–1187 and 1252–1253)

Appearance and personality

Tian Yu is slightly hunchbacked, with warm eyes and unusually long, drooping ears. He commonly speaks with a chuckle, yet the destruction of his temple leaves him visibly fatigued and anguished. His concern for disciples is repeatedly emphasized: he gives protective support, restricts dangerous travel, and treats their deaths as a personal failure. (Chapters 762, 898, 969, and 1105–1106)

Abilities and cultivation

Tian Yu is a Cosmos God capable of creating multiple cosmos and founding a holy ground for the laws-and-profound-mysteries system. The temple specializes in refined protective treasures, but the surviving passages do not identify a personal weapon, named combat technique, or precise Cosmos God level for him. His latest evidenced role is therefore institutional and strategic rather than a demonstrated upgrade in battle. (Chapters 762, 810, 898, and 1252–1253)

He understands Destruction Devil energy, explaining that killing those beings releases an opposing energy that nourishes the soul, though at a quality different from Origin World Rocks. This is instruction rather than a unique power. In alliance operations he can protect territory and coordinate with stronger combatants, but the text places the decisive restraint of Sacred Master on other front-line experts. Relationships

  • Dong Bo Xue Ying: A temple disciple whose potential Tian Yu recognizes early and whose safety he repeatedly tries to preserve. He later helps verify and support Xue Ying after reincarnation. (Chapters 810, 850, 890, 909, and 1104–1111)
  • Swordmaster: Fellow leader of the Great Void Heaven Temple and ally in evacuating its cultivators and resisting Sacred Master. (Chapters 846, 1103, 1106–1111, and 1184–1187)
  • Sacred Master: Principal enemy of Tian Yu's alliance. Tian Yu withholds a dangerous teleportation technique and accepts the risk of losing his temple rather than strengthen him. (Chapters 909, 929, and 1104–1111)
  • Yu Jing Qiu: Xue Ying's wife, whom Tian Yu is asked to protect; her capture contributes to his guilt after the temple's losses. (Chapters 1104–1106)
